Re: WTO Monday 4/20
Month/Cycle: 4/5
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Temping, monitoring CM, OPKs, PNVs plus C and B6, HIO ED during FW with preseed
R/R: Monday again? Ugh. I actually did get some good down time this weekend at least, but I am feeling very blah overall with every day being pretty much the same and no ability to plan things for the future. I am really glad the weather is warming up here though and looks like it will be sunny all week, I think that will help, and my aunt who lives around the corner from us is planning to heat her pool and said we can go into her backyard and use it when they aren't, like a social distancing pool time share of sorts lol.
CS/Q: Not yet.
Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017
TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia
TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020
IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal
FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+
@legallykate I’m starting to feel blah too. It’s definitely the not being able to make plans for the future thing for me. Or like....being afraid to look forward to anything because it seems like nothing is safe. Our governor is supposed to talk this week about details for “reopening” - I don’t think it’s going to happen soon but at least maybe some kind of idea of what a timeline could look like will help me. That’s awesome that you have the pool to look forward to though! Not being sure if we will get to the pool this summer is definitely something I’m struggling with.
Month/Cycle: 17/19 including 2 benched.
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM
R/R: Ditto to @legallykate on “Monday again? Ugh” We did get a lot done this weekend. I did a “drive up” order at target and included some storage bins so I finished my organizing project that I started 2 weeks ago. DH organized the basement which he has been wanting to do for months and also installed some coat hooks which will be nice. I also did some baking which made me happy (buttermilk biscuits and chocolate chip mini muffins). However by last night we were so tired and didn’t feel like going out for ice cream (what we decided to do to celebrate our “anniversary”) and I’m cranky about it today. I think I’m going to insist that we go tonight.
CS/Q:
Month/Cycle: 23/18/8 (AL#2)
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Letrozole with TI & Progesterone...will most likely go back to temping/tracking too.
R/R: Happy Monday!! AF made her arrival on Saturday which was expected, but I had a good weekend despite that! We didn’t do a ton, but got the things done that we needed to...and then just relaxed mostly! Ready for another week of WFH! Called my RE’s office this morning to see if it would be possible to move ahead with IUI this cycle or if we need to wait for everything to settle down still...they have unfortunately not resumed treatments, so IUI is out for this cycle. We are going to go back to trying like normal this cycle...just give it our all with TI while we wait for IUI. It was nice having a bit of a relaxed cycle last month, but we are ready to get back to it and we are hoping for the best during these crazy times!
CS/Q: None.
@legallykate glad you had some downtime this weekend...sorry you are feeling blah about the monotony of every day at home! Hope the warmer weather will give you more of a chance to get out, go swimming, and just add some variety to your days!
@bows22 sounds like you had an incredibly productive weekend! Sorry you didn’t get much relaxation in and it is unfortunately Monday already! 😕 Your baked goods sound so yummy!! I hope you get in your ice cream date tonight, I’d say insist for sure!
@bows22 a Target pick up for bins is on my list too for this week! I swear my house has never been this organized. This was your first Saturday not working, right? Sounds like you were still very productive! Happy anniversary! I hope you get ice cream today!
@bluetickgal sorry about the IUI. Glad you guys had a relaxing last cycle though, abd that you had a good weekend despite AF ♥️
Month/cycle: 12/11
CD: 5
WAYDTGKU: nothing right now, benching ourselves another cycle. DH and I talked after my meltdown on Friday and it went better than I expected. We're going to wait another cycle and then revisit the conversation, so idk how present I'll be but I like checking in here!
R/R: see above. Friday was a bad day but the rest of the weekend was better. We got a lot of spring cleaning/yard work done, so I'm happy starting the week with a clean house and tidy yard. I've been downloading library books like crazy on my Kindle (usually read paper books only) and I'm loving having new stuff to read so I can continue ignoring the books I hoard 😂 starting open book by Jessica Simpson tonight.
CS/Q: none, will probably start temping again next cycle.
Month/Cycle: 11/10/4(al) yuck
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: BBT, opks, baby aspirin, maca, PNV.
R/R: I wasn’t expecting CD 1 today, because my luteal phase since my loss has been 14 days the entire time(5 cycles total). But it has been 12-14 before so, it is what it is. I didn’t have high hopes last cycle anyway. But man, is it a bummer to almost be at a year ttc. I know for couples under 35 they recommend seeing your doctor at a year, but since I ovulate every month, and don’t seem to have issues with LP or anything I’m not sure what they could do to help. I only have 1 tube now, so I guess we’ll just keep trying naturally if we go beyond the year point. I’m not sure what my insurance would cover for fertility anyway, and I already owe money from my surgery in January. We’ve been kind of lazy since I was benched for a couple months, so we’re adding back all the things. 💩 Besides working this weekend, it was pretty chill.
CS/Q: nothing to see.
@legallykate I feel you on the not being able to do things! I’m normally super active this time of year, and it’s boring being stuck at home alone. That’s super nice of your aunt to share her pool! All the benefits with none of the expense or work? Heck yeah!
@bows22 that’s awesome that you were able to finish your project! That really is one of the best parts of this quarantine! I’m dying over all of your food mentions, I’m trying to start a more low carb healthy diet and that all sounds so good!
@bluetickgal I’m glad you had a relaxing weekend despite that bit**! I’m sorry that cycles are still on hold, I hope that they’re able to start cycles again soon.
@_orchid_ I must have missed it somewhere about why you are benched. I hope all is well. ♥️ One of my favorite things is starting the week with a clean house! Go you! I live my kindle books! I love real books too, but it does make it hard to go back to paper!
@bows22 Yay for a productive weekend and some baking! I haven't baked at all during the quarantine and I've wanted to. Just having the house smell like baked goods makes it seem so much better be stuck home all the time. Boo for not going out for ice cream last night. I hope you guys can get out tonight!
@bluetickgal I'm sorry for AF even though she was expected. It doesn't always dull the sting. And boo for your treatments being put off another month. FX that you're a SS who won't need the IUI.
@_orchid_ I'm sorry you're being benched another cycle, but we support you in whatever you need to do, especially when it comes to mental health. Yay for more books though!
@photographerwife I'm so sorry you're hitting the year mark soon. It's a sobering feeling. But just because you CAN get medical intervention at a year doesn't mean you HAVE to. It may not hurt to have hormones tested or something, but that is completely up to you and we support you with whatever you choose.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 after 3 years during round 1
CD: 7 and still spotting.... ugh
WAYDTGKU: funny business, peeing on things
R/R: Been feeling down the past couple days and can't shake it. I'm going to try to get outside and soak up some sunshine and hopefully that will help. I've been crocheting a lot, so maybe I'll take my project outside and crochet in the sun. I did that quite a bit last week and it was nice. I'm getting frustrated with my workouts. I lift 3-4 times a week at home, so cardio 2-3 days a week (usually running) and try to get out for hikes on top of that and I've GAINED a few pounds since January. I know lifting isn't the best for losing weight, but it's really frustrated. I weigh 30 lbs more than I did at the beginning of 2019. A lot of my weight gain is because of the meds I'm on, so I'm wondering if the meds are making it harder to lose weight. Either way, it's just really frustrating. Ugh.

Month/Cycle: 23/IDK
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: Letrozole, TI, followed by Progesterone and Estradiol. Also doing a bunch of other stuff. I actually took some things off this ridiculous list over the past month: Tracking FF, BBT, CM, CP, OPKs, Take extra Vit. D, Fish Oil/DHA, N-A-C, Calcium, Vitex, Ubiquinol, DHEA, Baby Aspirin, Ovasitol, Plaquenil. Moderate daily exercise for uterine blood flow, 7-9 hours sleep. Eating Gluten-, Dairy-, and Sugar-free. Ready to GKTFU so I can stop choking down so many supplements & live normally again!
R/R: Rave: Have been consistent with exercise and it is finally paying off with weight loss and increased energy. Organized my office space (in my bedroom) and it finally feels cozy, soothing to look at, yet separate from the sleeping area.
CS/Q: Can't get it to upload from phone.
@bows22 Hope you also get to enjoy the pool soon! I have heard rumors that our state will be one of the few to open up first. Not sure how true that is but, like you, I'd like to know something--no matter how vague. Glad you were able to enjoy some of your weekend; getting organized feels so good. Sorry the ice cream didn't happen, though. I'd be crabby about that too. Hope you do get to enjoy it tonight!
@bluetickgal We are on the same HIO naturally plan, with a bit of assistance.
@_orchid_ Sounds like you have a nice clean house & yard, so you're free to enjoy all those books!
@photographerwife Sorry for coming up on the year milestone. That is a tough one. FX that you actually get to get out of here before crossing that mark! I second what someone else said about getting your hormones tested, especially thyroid. I'd also ask for blood-clotting mutations testing. These are super common reasons for challenges getting/staying pregnant.
@linzrunz I hope the sunshine will help lift your spirits this week! I'm so sorry for the frustration of your workouts not showing a shift on the scale--that is super frustrating! It does sound like a combo of your meds and the fact that you do more weights than cardio. Maybe try adding 1-2 days of cardio for a couple of weeks and see if that makes any difference? If it doesn't, then you can be sure it's the meds. I hope you're at least getting the endorphin high from exercising! You know you're doing good for your body even if it isn't showing in other ways. Hang in there!
@bows22 Hope you get your ice cream make up tonight!
@bluetickgal Sorry you are here too now. And sorry you still can’t do IUI. EFF COVID.
@_orchid_ Glad you had a good talk with YH and a nice weekend.
@photographerwife Sorry for unexpected CD1 and for the looming one year mark. Hugs.
@linzrunz I am still spotting too this month which I never do after AF. WTF. Re: exercise, I think strength training is totally the way to go for both fat loss and mental health. I got into the best shape of my life doing mostly strength training with a few short HIIT workouts a week sprinkled in. Maybe you just need to mix up your strength training or try a couple 10 min HIIT sessions a week to bust the plateau?
@keikilove Yay for weight loss and energy and for a cozy office space!

R/R: have a fire lit under my butt to get my weight back down. So started Keto today have to say I made a chaffle for dinner to use as a bun and yum! Feeling insecure and anxiety has been high the past week. I think quarantine is getting to me. Glad we were able to get outside quite a bit this weekend which was nice.
CS/Q:
@keikilove glad you are seeing results, especially the increased energy, that’s amazing! I hope your state opens up soon and it goes so well that everyone else follows!
@stillcozy I’m definitely feeling more anxious than usual too. I’m hoping that I can start exercising and see if that helps work out the anxious energy. I hope you start feeling better soon.
@_orchid_ I know, it’s difficult. I haven’t even brought it up with DH yet, but I’m sure he’ll be on board as long as it won’t bankrupt us. lol i don’t know if I find success stories more encouraging or discouraging tbh. I’m in a ttc after ectopic group on Facebook and it’s all pretty grim.
but my doctor said lots of women go on afterwards. I just hate how much it’s out of my control. I hope you and DH come to a good decision if you have to worry about it too! I think we’ll wait until the end of summer today to decide.
@keikilove if we get to that point, bloodwork will definitely be our first step. I think my ob office can handle that part. Thanks for the advice! I imagine you are sick of that list! Ready for you to get KTFU too!
@bows22 well i guess the sweets were deserved then, if the treadmill is back out! It’s aggravating not knowing what will help. We will wait until the end of summer most likely before we pursue anything. I hate to wait if it’s something that will need more attention.
