Baby is the size of a(n): Tater tot or jack (like those old-school jacks)

Upcoming Appointments: Hoping to hear back from insurance to see if NIPT would be covered for me (I'm only 27 and don't have any family history, but I'd still like to check).  If it's covered then I'll have an appointment in the next 2-3 weeks for that. If it's not covered then I don't have anything on the books until 5/20 when I have another phone visit.

How are you feeling?: Good but unmotivated. Tired today without even realizing it - every time I sit down I end up taking a 30 minute nap.

Rants/Raves: Rant - I'm really sick of the gyms being closed and having to do home workouts with "creative" equipment. I just want my gym back lol  :D  Rave - My in-law's started a betting pool on what the gender of baby bean is...it's so silly because I don't even have a gut feeling yet and I'm not showing so I think they're all just betting on what they hope it is.

Questions: I don't think I have any...Ooh, is anyone doing prenatal yoga? I recently picked it up this week. I'm not an avid yogi by any means, but trying to find new routines with the aforementioned gym closures...

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of?: Oh this is easy. I have so many that I can watch over and over - Dirty Dancing, Grease, and She's the Man. OOH! And Miss Congeniality

@mwagensomer My husband would wish I was more like you and be willing to watch LOTR over and over. He's always wanting to watch it

Baby is the size of a(n): Tater Tot

Upcoming Appointments: I was told I could come in at 10 weeks to do genetic testing. So I guess this week, but it’s optional. My next appt with a U/S is Cinco De Mayo 5/5!

How are you feeling?: Currently... heartburn.. stupid pizza.

Rant/Rave: In general I am feeling better. I have not thrown up since last week and my nausea has lessened. I actually had a boost of energy today and was able to get some chores done after work. I started my progesterone and bladder infection medicine.. yay. So I’m hoping that’s why I am feeling better and it’s not something wrong with baby.

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of?  A League of Their Own, Dazed and Confused, The Hangover

    Upcoming Appointments: April 30th ultrasound

How are you feeling?: Tired and my boobs are uncomfortable if I wear a bra.

Rants/Raves: I really need the weather to warm up again. I'm so tired of being inside!

    Questions:

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of? Harry Potter,  LOTR, Total Recall.

@lovelee3 I'm planning on doing prenatal yoga! I plan on starting in 2nd trimester but I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

@potofgolden The Hangover is SO GOOD! It's definitely one of the best comedies ever.

@1MommyRunner we were supposed to stay at a condo on the beach for a week May 2nd and it's not going to happen. I'm so bummed! Solidarity on wanting to go to the beach.
  • @dumbledoredies Total Recall, OMG YES! Def on my list too!

  • @mwagensomer I LOVE Pride and Prejudice! 💜
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Nov 12/9w5d

Baby is the size of a(n): Strawberry

Upcoming Appointments: Had one today! First ultrasound, everything looked great! Baby measured one day ahead

How are you feeling?: Still pretty nauseous and tired. The doctor prescribed me Zofran so hopefully that will help.

Rants/Raves: Spring break is over which means we’re back on the eLearning grind...UGH

    Questions: Nothing really

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of? DH and love to rewatch our favorite stupid comedies, the most replayed are probably The Other Guys, Step Brothers and 40-Year-Old Virgin, also probably Tropic Thunder and Old School...and Bridesmaids lol. If I’m by myself I’m going to go for either HP or LOTR probably.
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Nov 14, 9w6d

Baby is the size of a(n): Strawberry

Upcoming Appointments: My doctor office is apparently really backed up, so I don't have my initial intake appointment until a phone appointment on 4/27 and then have my 12w appointment in person a week later. Don't really know what the point of the phone appointment is in that situation.

How are you feeling?: I had a few days when the nausea eased up, so of course I worried. And now it's back with a vengeance and I regret ever missing it.

Rants/Raves: Not much. It's getting warmer and sunnier, so I'm enjoying sitting in the back yard while DS crawls around and tries to eat dirt.

    Questions: Nothing really

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of? I'm with you, @dumbledored on LOTR and HP. I also love the BBC "Pride and Prejudice" @mwagensomer! I also love action movies, so "The Mummy" (Brendan Frasier version), "Independence Day" and "Jurassic Park" are also favorites!
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: EDD 11/11 10 weeks + 3

Baby is the size of a(n): strawberry! 🍓

Upcoming Appointments: 2nd prenatal in about 2 weeks and have to set up for the panorama blood test

How are you feeling?: starting to feel alot better. Nausea is finally starting to simmer down, yay!

Rants/Raves: I am sick of feeling so unmotivated to do anything from being stuck at home during this pandemic, plus my low energy from pregnancy doesnt help 🤷‍♀️😂

    Questions: None at the moment

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of? What's Eating Gilbert Grape 💜
  • @brittny3509 I know exactly what you mean about feeling unmotivated, I just lay on the couch all day! I really think it I was still working I would have more energy and motivation but being stuck inside is just depressing lol.
  • @kitkatz1990 I completely agree! If I was still working, I definitely wouldn't be laying around day in and day out 🙄
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/8 / 11 weeks. Am I the only one who is super dubious about measuring pregnancy to the day? I estimated the date of my LMP and I feel like the OB just took my word for it. The way I see it, the baby will come when it decides to.

Baby is the size of a(n): lime

Upcoming Appointments: First appt with the midwife on 4/25.

How are you feeling?: Grateful for my hubby’s patience with my grouchiness, perturbed that smells I used to love now make me dry heave.

Rants/Raves: It feels like all the suggested to-dos at this stage involve shopping or traveling. I’m a bit disappointed that the Internet hasn’t come up with a How to Rock Your Pandemic Pregnancy!!! article. But at the same time, I’m glad that I can enjoy this time in peace.

    Questions:

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of? Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Craft, and Y tu mamá también. (Maybe not the most kid-friendly.)
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/9

Baby is the size of a(n): strawberry

    Upcoming Appointments: 4/22

How are you feeling?: exhausted. All the time.

    Rants/Raves: sunshine is amazing!

    Questions: none

GTKY: What's a movie (or three) that you can watch a million times and never get tired of?
Hm. I rarely watch the same movie more than once. If I know what’s going to happen, not too interested. I guess Elf and Jingle All the Way cause I watch those every Christmas.
  • @csardaszz I feel the same way about the due date. I had a nightmare the other night that I was at the hospital and they were telling me that I needed to have the baby today it was the due date.... I was like nooo, baby decides!
I was not induced with DD and I don’t want to be for this one either. Of course I want everything safe for baby and I. I just think inducing seems to create more labor problems than letting it all start natural. DD was actually born on her due date, as measured by the u/s but it was about 5 days off of my last mens.... which is the same way this baby is measuring. They are saying 11/12 but the u/s is saying 11/17. I‘m betting 11/17.
  • @potofgolden That sounds like a scary nightmare! I can understand how some women plan for a specific date and are okay with induction. I tend to live by the seat of my pants planning-wise and can’t imagine doing things that way.
