We are pretty boring so all we ever really do is cook or order a nice meal and then watch a movie or a couple episodes of a show. Following for more creative ideas!

Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017
TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia
TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020
IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal
FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+
For us we don’t really do much either. pretty boring. We like to order in and watch a movie together. Sounds like everyone else here 😆. Not much to do these days. We went through the drive through the other day for ice cream at DQ.
When we are not mandated to stay at home we do lots of ice cream dates! And we like to go out to get a fancy dinner and drinks once in a while...I miss being able to leave the house and do fun things!
At home we do literally nothing other than watch movies and make popcorn lol!
@mindyb2019 I love the drive through! I never went until we moved to New England a couple years ago and it still feels like a novelty. @runningoncookies We love ice cream dates too! @gingermama29 OMG the Bob Ross idea is adorable!
Yeah we're like most people here! I've tried to make us into game people but it's hard to find games that we both really like! The night he tried to teach me the game Pandemic was not a high point for us hahah. I found the game Set in our house the other day so I might try that.
Sometimes we'll make a thing of cooking a special dinner. Lately on Friday nights we've been ordering from local restaurants and watching whatever show we're currently on (currently The Sopranos which I missed the first time around) or a movie. We both really like food and movies so to me at least it can sometimes feel special.
We have also read books aloud together before which I liked, we only made it through two I think but it was nice.
We are ALSO super boring most of the time. Some of our date night in activities have included: taking a nap together because sleep is AWESOME, picking a random terrible looking movie on netflix and watching it together to see who taps out first, board game night (rarely happens because I'm WAY more into games than MH is), cooking or baking together and realizing our kitchen is WAY too small for two people, and lounging in the living room trying to pick a movie for about an hour before turning on The Great British Bake Off and calling it a night.
I ordered a puzzle in hopes that it could be something relaxing that MH and I could do together without a screen but he doesn’t like it. He says it’s overwhelming and makes him anxious. It didn’t work for us but maybe it will work for you.
Also this might be an after dark thing but...
We also like watching porn together. It helps us get in the mood during FW.

I guess you can add me to the boring column. I like to order Chinese food and eat it on a blanket in front of the TV like a picnic while we watch a show. H prefers to have us both cook a meal, but I hate cooking.

@gingermama29 I love this thread because I need ideas for this weekend!
Our usual go-to when life was normal and chaotic but we had a rare “stay in” Saturday night was take out and then a “double feature” where we both pick one of the movies. You know how there’s always a movie you want to see but you know your SO isn’t that excited about? That’s how we handle that haha. Mine always goes first because I can’t always stay awake for two. And we usually make homemade lemon drop martinis, or some other kind of cocktail. Yum I wish I would have thought of this earlier and added lemons to our instacart order!
Mini golf! So fun and it’s nice to be outside. We also have done pottery painting in the past. Most of the time it’s see a movie or go to the arboretum and walk around and grab dinner.
@bows22 I love the double feature idea, we have very different movie tastes too so we usually end up just compromising on one that we are both meh on and never see any of the movies either of us actually really wants to see, lol.

I saw something on FB today and it made me think of this post. Beer pong/flip cup/tic tac toe. Play with a non alcoholic drink if you aren’t drinking:
1. Bounce a ball into one of the cups on your side of the table 2. Once you get it in, flip cup as normal 3. Once you’ve flipped the cup, place the cup on a pre laid out tic tac toe board made of tape (in this case). One persons cup will have a marking on the bottom to differentiate.
DH doesn't really drink (he will on vacation or at parties, but not at home ever) and it is usually fine because I will go out (or stay in) for girls' nights, but right now it is kind of driving me nuts, like if I had known about this pandemic I might not have married a non-drinker
