I had to have my levels rechecked today and while my hcg has more than doubled and is around 1700 at 4.5 weeks, my progesterone came down one and is 14 now, so my dr wants me to start a progesterone supplement. I’m so worried now! Anyone else experienced this?
Really anything above 10 is ok, but starting progesterone supplementation isn't going to hurt anything. I have been on progesterone for all of my successful pregnancies. Suppositories may not up your blood levels that much but work locally and are very effective if messy. You may have more side effects with oral supplementation. It's hard not to worry, but your numbers don't look scary.

WSS they will always err on the side of beefing things up jic, but I too am taking progesterone and most likely will for any future pregnancy too, if I may be so lucky. It's more common than you might think! (((Hugs)))
