WAYDTGKU: prenatals, temping, currently NTNP

R/R: Having all the anxiety today. We're supposed to get high damaging winds today with gusts up to 70 mph. I'm grateful that DH is off today so I'm at least not home by myself. We had a tree fall on power lines 2 doors down last windstorm a couple weeks ago so I think that's got my anxiety extra high.
The weekend was nice. I got to play Mario Kart and zoom chat with all of my siblings as well as my niece and a couple of my nephews too on Saturday. It was super fun and I love that is becoming a weekly event. It's hard to get us all at once though because we're all in different timezones ranging about 1-9 hours difference depending on which one of us you're talking about.

R/R: I hope everyone who celebrates had a nice Easter this weekend! We were very low key - did a hard strength training workout so my arms are killing me today, and we let the dog run in the park across the street. MH played some video games while I crocheted my quarantine afghan (will take photos when it's not just a square ) and we got Italian takeout for dinner.

@gingermama29 hope the storms are chill and everything is just fine today. I would likely feel the same way though so I am glad you aren’t home alone during it. Yay for Mario Kart and zoom calls though!

@mvt2003 which workout was it? That sounds like a really nice relaxing weekend. Also I love that you are making a quarentine Afghan. Is it shaped like a mask? 😂

R/R: I’ve been really anxious yesterday and today. I start my final class today and balancing that and work is always tricky. I have supervision today and I always get nervous and it is always fine.

@gingermama29 we are getting hit with some of those windy thunderstorms today too. I'd be totally okay if the wind knocked down this one tree in our front yard (as long as it fell away from the house!) haha

R/R: I've had these minor headaches every day for like the past week or so. It's been annoying! I think I need to drink WAY more water than I have been. Easter was nice for us! We had a small ham and made roasted brussel sprouts with pancetta and butter & parsley potatoes... so yummy! Plus side, we have left overs from that and from our Saturday night take out so I don't need to cook for the next two nights! WIN!

@keikilove Yup... no charting for me!!! It's wonderful and WAY less stressful! Besides, I promised DH I wouldn't when we decided to take a break from the medicated cycles. He wanted a true hard-core reset so that's what we are doing and it's honestly been exactly what we've both needed. We've be HIO on average EOD or EO2D anyway so our bases are always covered

That's crazy that it's your 3rd cycle in 37 days.... have you reached out to your RE for their insight??

@mvt2003 all this crochet talk makes me want to find another crochet project. I've been cruising along in my cross stitch though and want to keep going before I do.

@stillcozy sorry you've been anxious. I hope you can find a balance quickly and easily.

@keikilove ooof sorry for CD 1 and for such short cycles. I can't fathom even 2 cycles in that time frame, let alone 3! I'm not usually even done with 1 in that time frame. Enjoy tomorrow off. I hope today goes quickly for you.

@gingermama29 we have those rains and gusts here today too! my outdoor couch's cover blew off, i knew i shoulve tied it down better. hoping thats it though. my friend (a few towns over)had an old tree fall from her property this AM into her neighbor's yard ugh.
@mvt2003 sounds like you had a nice easter too! we had great weather, did some yardwork and got takeout as well.
@stillcozy good luck with your class! motivating that its final though!
@kpearse99 ive had headaches too but coupled with congestion due to allergies. hope you feel better!

@kpearse99 I’m definitely not drinking as much water when I’m home as when I’m at work. I hope you can hydrate more and your headaches go away!

@jackie_dunny with you on the junk food! DH got his hands on a bunch of easter candy and surprised me yesterday. And now I’m stuck in the house with it!

R/R: My organized side likes when CD 1 falls on the first day of the week so I guess I’ll take that as a win. We ended up having a great Easter yesterday. We got dressed in “nice” clothes (just jeans and nice shirts but nicer than what we have been wearing), I actually blow dried my hair and put on a little makeup, and we took a nice picture out on our deck. We watched church online, did a drive by visit to our siblings houses, and cooked a nice dinner. It almost felt like a normal day! It really did a lot for my spirits.
