MH and I met through a mutual friend. I was in Memphis visiting a girlfriend and she introduced us. After I returned home we stayed in contact and eventually a took a leap of faith and moved to Memphis to be with him. 3 years later we are happily married and expecting our LO

He is excited but nervous! He has twin daughters that are 14 but he has never had full custody, so he is really looking forward to getting to experience the whole thing. We haven't told the girls yet but they have talked about it for awhile now! I am super close with them and love them like my own.

He is super passionate about his beliefs and is extremely dedicated to his loved ones. He also has a great sense of humor and keeps me laughing!

He loves the gym and has a few buddies he works out with almost daily. Besides that, he is big on listening to podcasts and reading non-fiction! He also loves horror movies, especially from the 70's and 80's, and we have a massive DVD collection that keeps growing even though I couldn't tell you the last time we hooked up the DVD player, lol.

How did you meet? I met him accidentally 3 years ago at the bar the night my divorce was official 😂 wasn’t looking for love again but oops.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? He’s excited and nervous. It’s been 9 years for him since having a baby and he worked offshore during his ex wife’s pregnancy so he missed most of it. So he’s happy to get to experience all of it this time around but also annoyed with my random daily requests (which aren’t actually requests. Just things that sound good.

What is your favorite thing about him? His honesty, to a fault. But he’s amazing and so trustworthy because I know that no matter how big / scary / hurtful the truth may be, I’m going to get it.

Does he have any hobbies? He’s a mans man. Anything outdoors. He likes hunting and fishing (well, catching). He played baseball for 19 years. He’s really incredible with wood working. He built our kids amazing beds and plans to build baby’s bed room set.

How did you meet?  I started working as the Director of Facilities at a local College and his brother worked for me. From the day I walked in, he said I really think you should meet my brother, you guys would be perfect together. I was not interested at all seeing that work was new and I was commuting from NJ to MD daily. But then he came to the College for a baseball game and I met him and it was all downhill from there lol.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?  When we got pregnant with DD, he was one and done or so he said. When DD hit 18 months he brought up every day that we needed to give her a brother/sister. I actually had to be talked into it as I was still on the fence. Needless to say I am ecstatic now and he is even more excited than me lol.

What is your favorite thing about him?  He is literally a total goofball and the biggest sh*t talker I have ever met haha. But he is so honest about the person that he is and I love that. He also just makes me feel safe, I don't know how else to describe it.

Does he have any hobbies?  Yes, he loves radios and tearing things apart and then putting them back together. He also played baseball his entire life and is still in a league. At first it caused some contention when DD was born because I was left alone a lot so he could play, but I see how much he loves it and I don't want to be the one that tells him he needs to stop.

Anything else you want to share.  He is one of those few people that has mastered using both sides of his brain lol. He has a Fine Arts degree and illustrated for Hallmark cards for awhile, but he has worked for the last (15) years as an Electronics Engineering Technician making things to support the Warfighter. It is a pretty awesome combination.

How did you meet? my Sister marries his best friends little brother . Small town . We both new each other when we were both in other relationships , but one night both ended up at a party and we’re both finally single and well , the rest is history . We have been married for 4 years , together for almost 9.
How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? When we had DD he was ASTATIC!! He LOVES being a dad . I would say a week after she was born he was ready for another lol ... I held him off for 9 months roughly and then we got pregnant with twins .. game changer !! We decided that was enough 3 kids under 2 is hard. Our son also has cerebral palsy and still isn’t walking so we have our hands full. I guess someone else had some other plans because here we are with #4 in 4 years however he is totally warming up to it and embracing this one too. He has already picked out his new truck with a bench seat so we can still all fit

What is your favorite thing about him?His love for his children . He would die for them . He is so passionate about everything . And when he wants to be he is hilarious and can make anyone in the room laugh .
Does he have any hobbies? He is a jack of all trades. He can fix a broken down car , build a house . He is a farmer on the side and we have 80 head of cattle so he’s pretty good at that too.
He is an awesome man , and I told him last night ... well honey now we are both fucked if we don’t stay together . Ain’t nobody going to want to marry into 4 kids this close in age lol so here’s to the next 18 years babe!

How did you meet? We met at a house party 7 years ago (our anniversary was last Sunday). It was a birthday party for my friend who's boyfriend was friends with my fiancé's best friend, who invited him. I still remember seeing him come through the door.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? He's excited yet nervous, I don't think he fully realizes it yet. It sure sucks that he's not allowed at the ultrasounds.

What is your favorite thing about him? He is so caring, he would basically give me or do everything I want if he could. He's also very close to his family and I like this as I am not so close to mine. Oh and the way he still looks at me...

Does he have any hobbies? Taking our dog on walks 😅

How did you meet? We both joined the dating website, Plenty of Fish, not really expecting to find anybody, but just out of curiosity to see who was out there. He cam across me and says he knew he had to message me. He hadn't messaged anyone else, and I hadn't had any serious conversations with anyone until him. We messaged through the site for a few days and then exchanges phone numbers and started texting instead. After about 2 weeks, he finally was coming to my hometown, 2 hours away from where he was, to meet. On his way, he missed an exit and called me, and I panicked and suddenly realized, OMG, we've never actually talked besides through text, so I have no idea what his voice sounds like! So I didn't answer. Lol but i did work up the nerve to call him right back and get him back on track. We made a day of dates, and the rest is history.
How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? Honestly, indifferent, I think. His initial response was happy, quickly followed by "crap." He told me he just decided he was happy with the family we have and was good being done. When we had our current youngest in Dec18, we said we'd give it a year and just see if anything happened. Well, it's been 15 months, and in that time I also was thinking even though the door isn't closed on one more, I'd be happy being done. So we were both a bit surprised, and some had mixed emotions, but still happy and excited. He's just praying it's not twins! Lol
What is your favorite thing about him? His humor-- which is also why I hate him sometimes. Lol He is a weird mix of caring and sarcastic... so the more he loves you the more he picks on you, so you can imagine it gets old sometimes. Sometimes I don't want to interpret sarcasm to love, I just want you to BE loving... if that makes sense... but he loves making people laugh. He also is so caring. Even with being prepared for these Stay at Home orders, we stocked up for our family plus a little extra to be safe (not hoarding so others can't find stuff though!) cause he said he wants to be prepared for us and if anyone else is in need.
Does he have any hobbies? Nothing specific, really. Just anything together as a family.

How did you meet?
We first met in 6th grade, starting dating in 10th grade and got married after 10 years of dating. We've been married for 6 years already!

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?
He was pretty nervous the first time - honestly he wasn't really sure he was ready - but this time he's really happy and excited! It's so sweet to see, especially since he hates change and tends to worry about things.

What is your favorite thing about him?
I love that I never get sick of him. We are best friends and love spending time together. He's a hard worker and a deep thinker, and cares deeply about our family. He's stable and solid.

Does he have any hobbies?
Lol, does he ever. Hobbies are totally his downfall, because he never has enough time for any of them, let alone all of em! He brews beer, plays guitar and writes songs, he makes chiptune electronic music, he collects records, vintage video games, Magic cards and more, plays Magic and D&D, plays darts, skateboards, reads and gardens.

We met at work in 2007 after I moved here for college. We dated for almost 4 years and have been married for 9.

He hasn't had much of a reaction. We just had a MC in December, which he took pretty hard. So I think he's reigning in his emotions the same as I am.

I love that we're on the same page about pretty much everything. I can practically guess his answer to something before I ask.

He likes fishing, sports and video games.

How did you meet? We actually met through his ex-wife when they were still married. I went to grad school with her and we were all friends. There is no drama and our relationship didn't start until 2 years after she moved out and 1 year after their divorce was finalized. Her and I actually still talk a few times a year. Honestly, they just weren't right for each other and she cheated on him. He was someone I always talked to about my dating life and I was trying to help him step back into the dating world after his divorce. We played kickball together and hung out a lot, then we got drunk one night and crossed the friendship line (Charlie Worsham Could It Be style). So we've known each other for about 14 years, 7 years this May since we started dating, and this April is our 4 year wedding anniversary.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? He always wanted to be a dad! We were letting biology decide for number 3 and actually the end of March was our cut off time for getting pregnant (He wants to be finished by 40 and that's December). With the Pandemic, we are both excited but nervous. Also due to previous MC and MMC we are both really nervous until the 20 week Anatomy Scan.

What is your favorite thing about him? My favorite thing is that he is always up to try something new and loves to travel. I love that he is masculine without being macho. He's stable and makes me feel safe, loved, and beautiful. He's laid back, intelligent, a little geeky, and a wonderful dad.

Does he have any hobbies? His motorcycle. I love going for rides with him, though it doesn't happen that frequently since kids. He's also very handy and loves doing projects, especially if he gets to buy new tools or learn how to make/fix something new. We both love hiking and camping. He also does a whiskey club with some of his guy friends.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?

Excited and nervous just like me lol. We thought we were done for years!

What is your favorite thing about him?
The fact that he puts literally everybody first. He is the first one everybody calls if they need help with anything, which I find annoying but I also just love him for the fact that he can’t help but help. Also, going along with that, he can fix/figure out just about anything and is very handy to have around lol.

Does he have any hobbies?

Fixing up old cars, gardening.

He’s not very outgoing and is kind of shy in unfamiliar social situations but with family he is such a ham and so funny. Most people who don’t know him well think he’s standoffish but he’s just awkward, lol! Also, he spoils the hell out of me and the kids. He’s the best partner I could ever ask for. Now I’m going to come back and read this when he leaves his boots in the middle of the floor and I trip over them for the 609th time 😂😂

How did you meet?
I broke girl code. He is my best friend's older brother (by three years). So, I've known of him since I met her in 6th grade, but he and I became friends and actually talked when I was in 11th grade. We started dating in 2012, married in 2017. Initially his family (and my best friend in particular) were upset with us for starting to talk/date, but they warmed up to it after seeing how I brought out the best in him. You wouldn't know there was ever any initial hesitance when you see us all together now.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?
He is a very reserved with his emotions so quietly very excited, but I think trying not to get too excited just yet. He always said he wanted kids before 30, but he turned 30 in May. I think when I start showing and after our ultrasound, he might be more outwardly excited. He's itching to tell our families, but I want to have something more than just a pregnancy test to show them before telling.
What is your favorite thing about him?
I can't pick just one! He is so sincere and passionate with the people about whom he cares. He is so driven and hardworking in his career and daily life. I love that he looks into things when he has a question and will thoroughly research it before sharing information. I love his silly side that comes out so often with me. And obviously I like his bangin' bod

Does he have any hobbies?
Working out, video games, reading, and traveling. He is dying since he can't go to the gym every day like we used to and we unfortunately don't have a home gym set up.
Anything else you want to share.
He's a veterinarian for small animals and I think this takes a toll on him (euthanasia is not fun even when they are planned), but he loves what he does and he's worked really hard to get to this point.

How did you meet? Double blind date - set up by our grandmothers. Neither of us wanted to go, but try saying, "No" to an 89 year old Jewish lady.
How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? Super excited, but also reserved (as I am) because of our previous 2 loses.
What is your favorite thing about him? He is the best. Always thinking of me and our family. He is extremely empathetic and sensitive to the needs of others. He is funny, too!
Does he have any hobbies? SO. MANY. HOBBIES. Video games, music, movie, TV, collecting records, skateboarding, bike riding, photography, BEER!

How did you meet? We knew each other since elementary school and started hanging out in high school. We dated high school through college then got married before he went to grad school. 14 years together, 7 married in June
How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? He was surprised but excited. We wanted kids close in age but honestly didn't think we'd get pregnant so quickly (DS took about a year).
What is your favorite thing about him? He is a genuinely good person who always does the right thing.
Does he have any hobbies? Sports, playing basketball, golf or soccer. Listening to podcasts.
Anything else you want to share. He would do anything to make me happy and I don't think I really understood that early in our marriage.

How did you meet?

We met in 9th grade after I switched schools. I asked him his middle name and immediately found a perfect nickname for him. 💜 We became good friends and finally started dating in the 10th grade. We got married right before my last semester of college (My highest GPA was that semester). We’ve been married for going on 11 years now. 🥰 He also took me back to our highschool to propose. Now our son goes to school there, it is a K-12th grade school, I teach there and we all go to church there. 💜

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?

He is our 8 year old sons best buddy and our 3 year old daughters prince charming. He loves kids and is super excited to have another tiny one running around!

What is your favorite thing about him?
My favorite thing about him is that he is a very hard worker. I know our family will always be taken care of and that security is amazing. I also love the way my head falls perfectly into his chest when we hug. He’s tall, I’m short. 🥰

Does he have any hobbies?
He is a history buff and loves reading! He’s also into military tactics and wrestling with the kids.

How did you meet? The summer before high school I met him playing volleyball. He was about to be a Senior. He was handsome and total show off. We ended up having a welding class together. He always flirted with me, but it stopped there. Then the summer going to into my Junior year we started to hang out and been together ever since. This summer it will be sixteen years together and married 8 years.

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood? He is excited, he loves being a dad!

What is your favorite thing about him? He is an amazing man. He loves his family. He is allaying willing to help people out on hard times. He is my best friend, I never get tired of him.

Does he have any hobbies? He loves to cook. He BBQs competitively. We used to do it almost every weekend, DD has slowed us down a bit. He also builds his own smokers.

How did you meet?

We met via MySpace - so embarrassing, LOL, but somehow it worked. We had a long distance relationship for years as I was at University in Canada at the time and he was living in Arizona. Our long distance ended when I found out I was pregnant with DD in 2014. It’s been about 11 years since we first met in person and 2.5 years since we got married. 🥰

How is he feeling about becoming a dad or adding to his brood?
He is excited! He would have been okay being one and done but I wanted another baby badly! The way his face lit up when I showed him that positive pregnancy test was priceless. ❤️

What is your favorite thing about him?
The way he can stay calm and calm me down when everything is crazy around us. I could feel like the world is caving in on my and he is able to pull me out and get us through it. He is also the most amazing, loving father to our babygirl.

Does he have any hobbies?

He’s an extreme couponer, does that count? Lol. He also loves watching football, basketball, and baseball and when he can, he bets on them. He loves going to Vegas for that reason.

He’s just the best! Been really really stepping up for me through the morning sickness lately. Since we were long distance last time around he wasn’t there for me through the first trimester so I appreciate the heck out of his help this go round.
