GTKY: What is your favorite time of the year?

Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: November 11//8+5 today

Baby is the size of a(n): gummy bear (raspberry)

Upcoming Appointments: tomorrow!!! First ultrasound, exam, blood work, etc.

How are you feeling?: Frankly, “normal.” I have occasionally pulling sensations in my lower abdomen and if I touch my boobs or walk quickly downstairs I can feel the soreness. Oh, and the headaches in the PM but part of me feels that’s because I haven’t been as active as I like to be with the SAH order.

Rants/Raves: I finally got brought back on (part time) to work last week. I work for a small business outpatient pediatric therapy clinic, so when business slowed and before we figured out telehealth, the majority of us got furloughed. I got to work 12 hours last week and I’m scheduled for another 14 hours this week! Rant related to this...teletherapy requires a lot more prep work!

Questions: not a question but a follow up to last week when I asked about the Doppler. I went ahead and purchased one (sonoline-B) and have already found the heart beat multiple different days! I read what a lot of y’all said about it being potentially triggering if you can’t find it one day, and I’ll take that if it comes. I think it’s different for everyone. However, I’m reassured by finding it since I haven’t had an US yet and symptoms are minimal.

GTKY: What is your favorite time of the year? ”That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket” 😂
but in all seriousness, I love fall. Colors changing, cool temperatures, and college football season! (BOOMER!)

How are you feeling?: My nausea has been sooo bad the last two days. Also super headachy, freezing all of the time, and lots of allergy/sinus issues. Overall miserable lol.

Rants/Raves: It’s “Spring Break” so no eLearning for DS this week!! Thank God because we needed a break, lol.

Questions: What is everybody stuck at how. doing to pass the time?? I am SO BORED but also feel so awful that I don’t feel like doing anything, lol. The new Animal Crossing game has helped me pass some time but even that isn’t really holding my attention anymore.

GTKY: What is your favorite time of the year? Fall!! I am so excited to have a Fall baby because it is my absolute favorite time of year.

Upcoming Appointments: Early May is next appointment. I had my first US today and found out TWINS!!!!!! I video taped the US so that DH can watch later. I waited till I got home to tell him. Fortunately, he was already lay down on the ground playing with the kids when I told him (he took the morning off work so I could go to my appointment).

How are you feeling?: Excited! Nervous! Happy! Scared! I feel all over the place. I always wanted twins until I already had two. I'm excited but when I think about some of the logistics and cost of 4 kids I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Rants/Raves: nothing currently

Questions: So many but not really ones for here. My mind is racing with what our lives are going to look like with 4 kids.

GTKY: What is your favorite time of the year? Spring and Fall.

@kitkatz1990 +1 for the feeling cold all the time!!!! My husband was getting hot the other day and I was wearing a sweatshirt, two pairs of socks, and still under a blanket.

@kitkatz1990 yep! I found it at ~8w1d (based off LMP since I haven’t had a dating u/s)! I’ve found it every time I look now too.

@kelk5 first, I just looked at your ultrasound post then came over here!!! Congratulations!!! Twins is very very exciting. I’d be lying if I said I never thought about twins since they run in the hub’s family, but I can only imagine how terrifying it must feel. Your a great mom though, so I know you can tackle this too! Second, thanks for catching my movie reference 😜

Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow for my dating ultrasound. Woohoo!

How are you feeling?: Nauseas, bloated, tired and super emotional. I am not a crier, but I have been a puddle lately!

Rants/Raves: I just want to go back to church and spend time with my family and friends! I miss them so very much.

Questions: Nothing right now.

GTKY: What is your favorite time of the year? My favorite time of the year is mid Fall! I absolutely love the cool weather change and the leaves changing colors. All of our fun activities seem to take place during October-December. Especially this year, because of the tiniest one.

@kelk5 OMG, twins! Congrats! So exciting and scary! Do they run in your family, or is this totally out of the blue?

@hedgepig not really. My brother and SIL had triplets but they were all fraternal so due to my SIL not brother. I don't have any 1st cousins, aunts/uncles, or grandparents who are twins but my mom has several female cousins who had twins. So maybe but I don't know enough about genetics to know if that is relavent to me 😆
