Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 4.6

Re: TWW Monday 4.6

  • Month/Cycle: 16/18 including 2 benched

    CD/DPO: 24/7

    Timing: -4,-2,-1,O

    Typical LP length: 12

    Testing: Later this week

R/R: I’m sorry I never came back on Friday and then ghosted all weekend! Work was so crazy on Friday and I started feeling migraine-ish so I did lot of resting. I felt better yesterday though and got another closet organized (kind of, I want to put things in storage containers but we don’t have any so that’s on hold for now). I also finally rescheduled our Disney trip (we were supposed to go next week😢). I scheduled it for June, I don’t anticipate actually getting to go then but at least it buys us more time to decide when it will be okay to go.

    CS/Q:

  • @bows22 Glad you get to rest and do some organization! FX you can go to Disney in June or soon thereafter!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 18/2

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O

    Typical LP length: 9-10

Testing: Not until 4/14 at the earliest

R/R: I guess one perk of this craziness is that Mondays don't feel as Monday-y as normal? It's supposed to be sunny and warm here today so hoping I can sneak out for a walk sometime this morning. It looks like work will be pretty slow this week.

CS/Q: Post O temps aren't looking great so far but I know it is early.

    Timing: really good

    Typical LP length:  not sure

    Testing:  not for awhile

R/R:  feeling stressed today by work. Emotionally just drained from all stuff going on with my family. Also realized I’ve been active in this group for 3 months this coming Friday and feeling so grateful. For all the support and just general awesomeness of you all. I don’t feel very hopeful this cycle but I have to say I have not felt quite as stressed as I have others. I attribute that to you all amazing ladies keeping me sane! I seriously can’t imagine how I’d be doing without you all!

CS/Q: meh not much to see i forgot to temp today

@bows22 don’t worry life happens. So sorry you have had to reschedule your Disney trip :(

@legallykate sorry the temps are what you hoped for but you still have lots of time! Hope you are able to enjoy the sun today!

@bluetickgal that sounds like a great weekend! Hope your Monday goes by smoothly and quickly!

  • @bows22 boo for migraines but yay for getting some stuff organized!  I hope you're able to go to Disney in June!

@legallykate Hope you can get a walk in today!  Some sunshine sounds nice.

@bluetickgal I'm glad you had a good weekend!  Sounds like it was the perfect combination of productivity and relaxation.

@stillcozy Sending you hugs lady.  Hope the stress calms down for you and the family drama subsides.  This community of women is seriously amazing.  My three month of being active on this board again is coming up too and I'm so thankful to be a part of it.

@mindyb2019 Yay for relaxing at home.  I hope your appt goes well and that you get some good news!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3 after 3 years during round 1

    CD/DPO: 28/2

    Timing: good, -2, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: unsure

Testing: I have no tests at home and I'm going to leave it that way for a while.

R/R: I'm finally over here!!  Took forever for O to happen, but I'm glad it finally did.  It snowed yesterday and I'm not happy about it.  I'm ready for some nice spring weather, but it looks like it should clear up and be nice the rest of the week.

CS/Q:  Just a random possibly TMI question.  In spoiler.

When H and I were having sex the other night, we noticed that I'm lactating.  WTF?!  Has anyone else had this happen??  I emailed my doctor, but haven't heard back but now I'm concerned that my hormones are all out of whack and it's going to decrease our chances of getting pregnant.  Blah

  • @legallykate I hope you got your walk in! I’ve still had some Mondayish Mondays through this but today wasn’t too bad - it’s beautiful here too so that probably helps!

@bluetickgal jealous of your Friday off! We don’t get Good Friday off unless it falls after 4/15, so close this year! I’m glad you had a nice weekend, I did check on here a few times to make sure I didn’t miss anything major but it’s nice to take a little break sometimes.

@stillcozy I’m sorry you are feeling stressed. I hope things resolve soon.

@mindyb2019 fingers crossed for good news today!

@linzrunz yay for O! And nooooo to snow! Hopefully that’s the last of it. I still think we are going to get one more (it always seems to snow in April) and I’m dreading it
  • @linzrunz

That has happened to me during the TWW two of the last three months. The first time I was SURE I was KU because I have read it can be an early sign. But nope. So I am thinking for me at least it is just the progesterone plus some lingering prolactin (I stopped nursing last July so it has been less than year).

  • @stillcozy sorry for all the stress with work & family! I hope you can take some time for yourself today! I’m glad being a part of this community has helped to lessen your stress about TTC...this place has done wonders for me too! So grateful for all of you!
@mindyb2019 I hope you got great news from your fertility consult this morning!! Hope you enjoy your day relaxing!!
@linzrunz yay for finally O’ing!! I would not be happy about snow either...I hope Spring weather shows up for you soon!!
@bows22 oh, you were so close to getting it off!! Do you all get extra time off after tax season? I feel like I’ve heard of firms taking off Fridays during the summer as a reward for the crazy time of tax season! Yeah I normally lurk on the weekends, but decided to completely stay away this weekend...then had to catch up on all the reading this morning! Haha.
  • @bluetickgal we work 35 hours a week for the rest of the year (5 7-hour days) that’s our “reward” haha. From June 1-August 15ish we can do the 35 hours in 4 days. I negotiated to be able to do that from April 15-end of December but it’s a big secret! I usually do 4 8-hour days and then use 3 hours of PTO to take off on Fridays. I don’t think I’ll do that until I can actually leave the house on my days off, but we will see!
  • @legallykate

My youngest is 8 1/2 so having leftover prolactin from that just seems so far off. I just wish my doctor would email me back soon! I’m going down the google rabbit hole!!

  • @bluetickgal Glad you had a productive and relaxing weekend and yay for a short week!

@stillcozy So glad you have been less stressed this cycle, we are all so lucky to have this group to keep us (relatively) sane in the midst of TTC and the pandemic!

@mindyb2019 Glad it was mostly good news but I am sure it is frustrating to not know for sure what impact the fibroid(s) might be having, I will be keeping all things crossed for you that you can beat the odds and get and stay KU #fuckyoufibroid

@linzrunz Let us know what your doc says, I am super curious. Hopefully just a weird flukey hormonal thing.

  • @legallykate thanks twin lol. It is def frustrating to not know the impact the fibroids might be having. I plan on beating the odds and kicking ass. I like your hashtag lol. #fuckyoufibroid.

@linzrunz that’s sooo weird that happened. I don’t know what to say to that. I haven’t had that happen to me before. I want to know what your doc has to say too.
  • Oh @mindyb2019 I’m so sorry. I hate that you are even faced with this decision. F your fibroid and f covid-19. Ugh. ❤️❤️
