R/R: This week thankfully went by faster than the last two. It's still a weird feeling for it to be Friday and knowing we will be staying in our house and doing nothing all weekend though. Hoping to finish Tiger King and catch up on Little Fires Everywhere and get ahead on work for the month and mostly just not go too stir crazy lol.

CS/Q: Not yet but positive OPK last night and blazer this morning so I think O tomorrow!

  • @legallykate the staying home thing is definitely throwing us off too. We’re like, “wait, is today Wednesday or Thursday?” Yay for blazing OPK!

R/R: I’m just so bored!! We didn’t go to the pet store yesterday so hopefully we go today. I really need to tidy the house a bit so that’s my goal as well. DH cleaned the bathroom without me asking yesterday, what a star!

  • @legallykate I completely agree about the days feeling weird! Like I woke up today all excited that it was Friday and then was like "wait a second...we don't leave the house anyway...". At least the weekend means no working!

@jackie_dunny yay for a clean bathroom! Hopefully you get to leave the house today

WAYDTGKU: temping, prenatals, OPKs, tracking CM

R/R: I'm planning on doing a virtual happy hour with some of my girlfriends today, so that will be fun! And we are going to do some gardening this weekend, woohoo!

    CS/Q: nope

  • @legallykate happy Friday!  im excited to just close my laptop for the weekend, though i am happy things picked up for my job overall
@jackie_dunny wow that was great of DH!! can he teach mine??
@runningoncookies yay for virtual happy hour!  i actually havent done one yet (because i wasnt drinking on TWW), butttttttt now fair game

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD: 1 blah

WAYDTGKU: prenatals, OPKs and to celebrate CD1, i just ordered a BBT thermometer.

R/R: i wasn't expected AF for another two days so im surprised to be writing CD1 here.  i admittedly was not feeling too optimistic this cycle but it didnt make it sting less.  trying not to be unreasonably mad at DH for not being willing to HIO more.  HOWEVER, my birthday falls a few days before suspected O day this cycle, and i havent asked for anything else so hopefully better luck this cycle.

On the bright side, DH's bday is Sunday and i bought a nice prime steak (which i can now enjoy rare without guilt) and we have a nice bottle of Caymus to drink (which i can now enjoy at least half of without guilt) so i guess its not all bad.

CS/Q: i will actually start doing this once my thermometer comes.  Prime says April 7-9!

WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNVs, Clearblue Fertility Monitor, Tracking CM

R/R: Happy Friday Ladies!!. Sorry I posted and ghosted yesterday. Was really busy at work all day and then the bump app wouldn't work or let me on. Yay! I finally got my blazing positive today on my fertility monitor, so I should O tomorrow and then I'll head over to TWW. It's a little later then normal this cycle but oh well it's better then not at all. My antibiotics are starting to kick in now. Been a few days and my ear is definitely feeling alot better then it has felt lately. Still very slightly sore and tender but not nearly as much and I'm just really tired again. yay for drugs 😅

    CS/Q: None

@asf0613 I'm sorry sorry AF showed and early this time. That happened to me last cycle. Came a few days early. I know it stings. Hugs ❤ I hope you enjoy YHs bday this weekend and enjoy that prime rib and drinking the caymus 🙂 I hope you get to HIO more this cycle for your birthday.

@legallykate yay for positge OPks. We should both O tommrow. Glad this week went by faster then last.

@runningoncookies ooh a virtual happy hour sounds cool and fun.  I hope your enjoy that with your friends. Have fun gardening too.

@jackie_dunny yay for YH cleaning the bathroom. What a champ 😀 good man. I'm sorry your so bored. I hope you get to go to the pet store soon.
  • @legallykate sounds like a decent weekend ahead. Yay for a blazing positive OPK!!

@jackie_dunny yay for YH cleaning the bathroom! My house also needs tidying.

@runningoncookies oooh a virtual happy hour sounds awesome! Enjoy!!

@asf0613 sorry for AF. Oooh your dinner plans for YH's birthday sound amazing!

@mindyb2019 glad you're finally starting to feel better and yay for a blazing positive OPK for you!

R/R: yesterday was a decent day. I video chatted with my mom in the morning and got outside in my yard for a bit in the afternoon. The sunshine did wonders for my anxiety and mood.
I'm planning to dig out my sewing machine from the attic this weekend and video chat with my mom next week for a refresher course on how to use it. I haven't sewed since I took home ec in middle school which was 16 or so years ago. At the very least, being able to machine sew simple things seems like a skill I should have. It's been something I've wanted to get into. Both my mom and my MIL are big quilters so I've got good resources to learn from and apparently nothing but time with this social distancing/quarantine.

    WAYDTGKU: NTNPish

R/R: Hi ladies and Happy Friday!! I ghosted again yesterday, sorry about that! I’m trying to get into the more relaxed approach of this cycle, and I’ve noticed that the dailies make me hyper aware of where I am in my cycle. I still want to participate as much as I can, but I may not post everyday. I’ll re-evaluate starting next cycle, and may take even more of a break from posting in the dailies then...I’ll still lurk & comment some I’m sure!! I’m pretty sure I’ve O’d now, so I’ll move over to the TWW next week...really wasn’t sure until I had sore boobs this morning! That is always a sign that O has happened for me!

CS/Q: None, not tracking the rest of the cycle.

@legallykate glad your week went faster! Yes, Fridays definitely have a different feel now, but I’m still excited for the weekend! Yay for positive OPK...see you in TWW next week!

@jackie_dunny sorry boredom has set in! I hope you get your trip to the pet store in today! Yay for YH cleaning the bathroom, that was very good of him!

@runningoncookies enjoy your virtual happy hour...and gardening this weekend! I love that we can all find ways to stay connected, and just keep ourselves occupied!

@asf0613 sorry for the CD1 surprise...it always seems to be crushing even on the cycles you aren’t too optimistic! Hope you have a great weekend celebrating YH’s birthday and heres to hoping for great timing this cycle!!

@mindyb2019 yay for positive OPK...seems like a lot of us will be heading over to the TWW soon! I’m glad your antibiotics have started to kick in and you are feeling a bit better!

@gingermama29 glad you were able to get out yesterday and enjoy the sunshine! That’s great you were able to video chat with your mom...that’s awesome you are going to have a little video tutorial for sewing next week!! My mom taught me when I was younger too...but I could definitely use a refresher and a sewing machine! Haha.

  • @gingermama29 that’s cool your going to dig out your old sewing machine, I should do the same one of these days. I haven’t sewed either since I took home ec in school too lol. It’s been a long time for me also. GL with it and I hope your able to find something good to make. I’m glad the sunshine did wonders for your mood and anxiety yesterday.
  • @asf0613 sorry for CD1...enjoy the steak and wine though!

@mindyb2019 I'm glad you're starting to feel better!

@gingermama29 that sounds so fun! I have no idea how to sew, but I always admire the projects that people can do...enjoy!
  • @runningoncookies virtual happy hour sounds great! Me and my girls do that on Tuesday nights because we’re all working from home or not working at all except one friend who works for the NHS as a midwife but she’s off on Wednesday's so it helps her get through the week! Ooh what are you going to be gardening?

@asf0613 ugh I’m so sorry about an early CD1 😞 way to look at the bright side though with steak and wine! I’m so jealous 🤤 enjoy that! Good luck with getting used to temping! It was so hard for me to remember to do it in the morning. I’d be like, “why is my alarm going off at 6 on the weekend? Oh well back to sleep!” And then wake up later like ugh forgot again!!

@mindyb2019 yay drugs! I’m glad they’re starting to kick in and you’re starting to feel better. Yay for positive fertility monitor!

@gingermama29 I’m glad the sunshine helped your mood! Sewing sounds fun and definitely a useful skill to have. Hopefully your mom can help jog your memory a bit and you’ll pick it up in no time! Any planned projects?

@bluetickgal no worries about posting less! You do what you need to do! The dailies will still be here when you need them! Yay for O’ing!

  • @legallykatesame, I get a bit confused on what day it is too! I do still feel the excitement for the weekend coming though!

@jackie_dunny I haven't been having cabin fever but I definitely feel the "what the heck can I do" we're all feeling.

@runningoncookies that sounds fun! Later today I'm gonna be Facetiming my mom and we're going to watch Making the Cut on Amazon together.

@asf0613 ohhh that's making me hungry!

@mindyb2019 glad to hear those antibiotics have kicked in!

@gingermama29 sounds like you'll have lots of fun with the sewing machine. My MIL is a quilter as well. I wish I were more crafty so I could make things for people

@bluetickgal I feel in the same boat as you. I go through spurts of posting in the dailies and then go through a few days of "meh, I don't want to".

  • @legallykate What do you think of Tiger King so far??  It's crazy, right? Also, yay for O!

@jackie_dunny Can you teach MH to do that??  I swear he has NEVER cleaned the bathroom on his own.  And we've been married for 13 years this summer.  Hope you get some more tidying done.

@runningoncookies That's so fun - a virtual happy hour!  One of my friends just moved to Idaho and we have virtual coffee dates every so often.

@asf0613 So sorry CD1.  Where did you order a BBT??  I can't find thermometers anyway!

@mindyb2019 I'm glad to hear that you're starting to feel better!  Also, yay for O!!  It seems like a few of us are Oing right now.

@gingermama29 Sewing is a hobby I've always wanted to pick up.  I have a sewing machine, but I have zero clue as to how to use it.  Hope you're able to make some progress on it!

@bluetickgal I totally understand wanting to take a step back from the dailies.  Maybe we can start doing more GTKY type threads so that there's still a place for you to participate.  Hang in there friend.  We support you no matter what you have to do.

    but for now--
    @linzrunz amazon!
in terms of just a regular thermometer, i wanted to get one for COVID in general since i didnt have one.  i couldnt find ANY in stores or on amazon, but i found an infant care kit that included one so bought that.  i was so proud of my thought process on this:

but then someone in TWW dailies (so sorry i dont remember who!) reminded me i needed a BBT one for TTC, so i went back on and bought bought this one:

R/R: I’m just feeling so over ttc right now. I should be excited about being off of the bench, but I just feel like we’re going to be doing this same ol thing over and over and over... 😔 TW:

A friend that I’m working with today is KU and due in a couple of weeks, she wasn’t trying. She got KU around the time we started trying. I just thought I’d be at least pregnant right now. Now at the very minimum, I won’t have a baby until at least 2021. All of my ttc, and ttcal feelings are hitting me hard today.

in other news, the puppies that my brothers friend have won’t be a good match for us. It’s other half is a breed that is prone to chasing animals, and we have 4 cats, and are getting chickens soon... so the search continues! I’ll post a photo when we finally do get one.

  • @legallykate hope you have a relaxing weekend! It is weird having no break from home..

@jackie_dunny hope you have a safe, clean trip! I don’t think my husband has ever cleaned the bathroom without being asked.... 💩

@runningoncookies that sounds so fun! I need to FaceTime my friend for happy hour!

@asf0613 sorry that af came early... hope you are able to get better timing in this cycle!

@mindyb2019 I’m glad you are starting to feel better! GL with O!

@gingermama29 I’ve been wanting to break out a machine too! I haven’t sewn on one in a long time and I bet I’ll get the threading messed up! GL!

@bluetickgal totally understand the daily threads making you feel hyper aware. It was difficult for me to post here often while o was benched for that reason, and too many emotions. lol GL this cycle!

@inthewoods23 enjoy the weather! And HIO! 😉

@linzrunz glad you finally O’d! Can you normally tell what side you ovulate from? I’m interested to see if I can tell with just 1 tube. I’ve noticed that I normally have twinges where my right tube was the past couple of months. 🤷🏼‍♀️ your WAYDTGKU always cracks me up!

  • @jackie_dunny Pet store sounds fun! Yay for YH cleaning, bathrooms are one area we always fight over.

@runningoncookies Enjoy the happy hour, I have been doing those here and there as well and they definitely help!

@asf0613 Sorry about CD1 :( Steak and wine sounds amazing though as does birthday sex ;)

@mindyb2019 Woohoo yay for heading over to TWW together this weekend! So glad the antibiotics are kicking in.

@gingermama29 Outside time and sewing both sounds great, and I’m sure your mom is appreciating the video chats!

@bluetickgal Good for you for trying to be more relaxed, you def shouldn’t feel obligated to post every day. See you in TWW next week!

@inthewoods23 Yay for feeling well and HIO, hope you and YH have a great walk!

  • @inthewoods23 well there are certainly more hours in the day now than i ever realized so i guess there's time for indoor HIO and outdoor non HIO activities!  and funny you mention a shed...DH wants putting one up to be one of our quarantine activities, but our town requires a permit so not sure its feasible right now
  • @asf6013 a permit for a shed?! Never heard that one before! So weird. I wonder why.

  • @jackie_dunny two words: new jersey...
    permit for EVERYTHING
  • @inthewoods23 glad you are feeling better and work was a little slower today!! Hope you have a great weekend with YH!!
@linzrunz I love the idea of doing more GTKY threads...I’m not creative enough to come up with any ever though! Yay for positive OPK...see you over in the TWW next week!! Hope you are/were able to enjoy more time outside before the snow comes!!
@photographerwife so sorry for the trigger at work! I hope you can just have fun this cycle and not think too much about the big picture!!  I know that’s easier said than done though!
  • Sorry for ghosting. Back for replies!

@bluetickgal yay for O! No worries about posting every day. We're here for you.

@jackie_dunny no immediate planned projects. I'd like to make table runners.

@inthewoods23 I hope you had a nice walk. It was raining and dreary today so I couldn't get outside.

@linzrunz oooh yay for a blazing OPK. FX for you!

@photographerwife hugs friend. Sorry your having a tough TTC/ttcal day.
  • @gingermama29 we didn't end up going for a walk! I guess DH's back has been hurting. We sat out on our deck for maybe a half hour instead. It was a nice temperature to let the cat go outside. She's enjoys watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the yard. She doesn't really hunt them, more watching and chasing them than anything. But we never have to worry about her wandering off since she mostly sits on the patio area. An area we can't see from our chairs on the deck since it's up the floor, but she's never too far from sight.
