R/R: I'm grateful the weather is starting to get nice! It looks like we're getting several sunny days here coming up. I want to make it a point to go outside either in my yard or take a walk around my neighborhood each day and soak up some sunshine and fresh air. I think I really need the extra vitamin D lately.

  • @gingermama29 that’s a really good simple goal. Here in the UK, were only allowed outside once a day for exercise and it’s police enforced (with fines) so it’s kind of tricky getting out at the moment, as it is everywhere I’m sure. Luckily, we don’t get many nice days in the UK anyways so it’s not tempting to cheat 😆

    Month/Cycle: NTNP

    CD: 3

    WAYDTGKU: Using less protection

R/R: Not much happening today, like at all. We have a goal to go to the pet store because I forgot to get dog food when I was at the store yesterday. But it’s DH’s turn to go into the store so I’ll be stuck in the car. At least it’s outside!

R/R: Well, I wasn’t feeling very well last night. I was nauseous before dinner and had a bad headache again most of the day. I'm feeling a little better today though which is good. I hope these antibiotics are kinda kicking in by now and will continue to get better. My ears still hurt slightly. I had another bad anxiety/panic attack last night when I went to bed. DH had to come lay beside me for a bit just to help calm me down and relax me. I really feel like I'm on edge and stressed out all the time. I honestly dont know how I'm going to make it till like July with the world like this. Also, I would like O to come and not sure if that's happening anytime soon this cycle or at all. Its taking its sweet ass time this time. I'm thinking I will this weekend.

    CS/Q: None

@gingermama29 yay to sunny nice weather. Nice weather always helps my mood. That's great that you want to be able to go out and walk everyday. I hope your able to do so. Enjoy!
  • @mindyb2019 I’m sorry that you’re still not feeling well. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in a bit more today. I’m also sorry you had a bad anxiety/panic attack last night. Those are the worst. I’m glad YH was able to help you relax, though.

  • @gingermama29 Yay for nice weather! It is supposed to rain here all tomorrow and all weekend so I will have to live vicariously :)

@jackie_dunny Interesting, how do they enforce only going once? Haha yes car rides for DH to run in to the grocery store/get curbside are my new hobby.

@mindyb2019 I’m sorry you are struggling, I am definitely in the same boat with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed by everything. Hope the antibiotics start helping more and FX for O soon, isn’t yours usually around CD16?

R/R: I had a really nice chat with a coworker yesterday who is very dialed in and told me the partners we both work with love me and my work so I shouldn’t be worried about my job, so that was very reassuring and motivating. I feel like my baseline anxiety is so heightened right now, every little annoyance like the hours thing last week just pushes me over the top. DH is a saint for dealing with me 24 hours a day right now. As a fun aside, does anyone watch Masked Singer? I was not surprised by the reveal last night but find that person very delightful so it was fun to see.

CS/Q: Not yet. Was hoping to O a bit earlier this month but OPKs are still super negative so probably Sunday at the earliest.

  • @legallykate yes usually I O around CD 15/CD16 but I guess it’s later this cycle. Not sure why. it prob won’t be till like maybe CD 18, maybe longer at this rate. 🤷‍♀️  Aww, that’s good. I’m glad that the partners really love you. It’s always nice to hear good things like that for work. I’m so sorry that your baseline anxiety right now is crazy heightened. I feel ya there girl on all levels. My DH is a saint too for dealing with me like this everyday too. Poor guy! I’ve never heard of the masked singer. Is this a show or a movie? Sorry your OPKS are still super negative. Seems like we will both be O ing a little later this cycle.
  • @legallykate I said the same thing! Apparently there’s some sort of incentive for neighbors who (accurately) report it. I think it’s more of a like, scare tactic thing to get people to stay inside but you KNOW there are going to be some sad people just staring out their windows waiting to catch someone 😆 I’m glad you had a nice chat with your colleagues! It’s always good to feel so reassured like that. I haven’t seen the masked singer yet but I actually really want to!

  • @gingermama29 DH and I were talking yesterday about how much worse this would all be back in Jan, or even july/Aug. At least I can sit out on my back porch for a change of scenery.

@jackie_dunny if you have one, can you go out in your own garden, or is that also limited to once per day?

@mindyb2019 I would be thrilled with just my normal anxiety right now, it's so tough with all that's going on. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in and everything starts feeling better-anxiety included.

@legallykate what a nice relief from your coworker, hopefully their job is also secure.

  • @mindyb2019 It's a show, it's basically a bunch of celebrities (well, a lot of "celebrities" really lol) competing singing in masks, and the panel and audience vote for who moves on and try to guess who they are, and the loser gets unmasked every week. It is surprisingly entertaining.

@sejica Damn girl you are strong! But get YH to fix that!

  • @jackie_dunny oh wow, I didn't realize it was that strict in the UK right now. My brother's wife lives there too but I haven't chatted with her in a few days. Our weather has been kinda crappy lately with cold and rain so I'm happy for some sunshine.

@mindyb2019 sorry you're struggling right now. Be I've definitely had a few anxiety attacks through all this. It's so hard and scary right now. Hugs to you. Hang in there. Glad you're starting to feel a bit better finally though.

@legallykate it's always so good to hear you're valued at your job, especially in times like these. I couldn't get into the Masked Singer. I watched 2 episodes but all the extra drama and build up drove me nuts. DH enjoys it though.

@sejica ooof I hope he finishes that soon! What a workout though!
  • @gingermama29 yay for sunshine and walks! It is nice here too, and I think only supposed to get warmer into the weekend, so I am right there with you.

@jackie_dunny that is so crazy that you can only go outside once per day! I feel like as long as you are staying away from everyone else that is outside, you should at least be able to go for a walk, run, or bike ride as many times as you want.

@mindyb2019 I'm sorry that you're having high anxiety right now. Try to take it easy on yourself. I hope you start feeling better soon...try to do something that makes you happy today! I know how hard it can be when you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I'm glad YH is able to help too

@legallykate it's always nice to hear that you're doing a good job! I don't watch the masked singer, but it looks like it would be pretty entertaining!

@sejica that's a heavy door! Hopefully YH is able to install it the rest of the way so you don't have to do deadlifts every day lol

R/R: sorry for ghosting yesterday! I got totally swamped in the afternoon, and spent the day recording videos to provide for my students doing remote learning. By dinnertime I felt like I should have my own YouTube channel lol! Learning all these new technologies on the fly is totally exhausting, but I've never been happier to be a fairly decent problem-solver. I am so determined to provide the best services possible for my students that I have learned probably 3 new technology platforms in the last day. This whole coronavirus situation really needs to be over so I can go back to work!

    CS/Q:

  • @gingermama29 Yay for some sunshine!  I hope you're able to get out and get some vitamin D.  :)

@jackie_dunny At this point it's the little things, even going on a drive somewhere.  That's crazy that you can get fined for being outside too much.  I mean, I get it.  We're not that way in the US...yet.  But I wouldn't be surprised if that starts happening.

@mindyb2019 I'm so sorry you're still dealing with not feeling well and with anxiety.  Panic attacks are no fun.  I get them a lot and with what's going on right now, it's understandable with how you're feeling.  Sending comforting vibes your way.  Hang in there friend.  You're doing awesome.

@legallykate I'm glad to hear that you shouldn't need to worry about your job!  That must be a relief, but I totally understand the underlying anxiety right now.  It's so hard with the world being so out of the norm and not knowing what's going to happen.  Hang in there.

@sejica That's annoying! But yay for getting a workout in?  haha  Good way to look on the bright side.

@runningoncookies You teachers are amazing right now with adapting to such a huge change with very little time to prep.  Thank goodness for technology!

Also, we got out for a hike with the puppies again yesterday.  I'm trying to take advantage of the nice weather before snow comes again this weekend.  Blah.

@runningoncookies go you! You sound like such a dedicated and wonderful teacher and your students are lucky to have you!

@linzrunz yay for a positive OPK! Get your dancing shoes on! I believe the egg will still be fine. Boo snow! That’s one thing I definitely don’t miss about being from the northeast, snow! We don’t really get any here. Maybe once a year? And it’s gone after a day or so. We didn’t get any this year at all!

  • Month/Cycle:  Jan 2018.

    CD:  4

WAYDTGKU:  I was supposed to start clomid, but due to a miscommunication - it will be next cycle. Boo. So trying some supplements along with all the things...

R/R:   it's too cold to really go outside yet, so I am just ... tired of being in my house.  We did go for a long walk on our rail trail - it's always empty. We saw two people, which is unusual and were able to keep more than 6 feet away easily. One guy was a little creepy... Like I said we never see ANYONE on the trail, and the people we do, we almost always know.
I think I am going to start carrying my keychain mace on my walks again. I have it from when I lived in the city, but never felt the need in our little town. I actually have my doors locked.

    CS/Q: Nothing to see here,

@gingermama29 Send some sunshine my way! It's raining here. boooo.

@jackie_dunny We are getting there. (New York / Vermont line) They shut down all the non essential AISLES in the stores here, and have blocked off where you need to stand. We have a really nice walking trail right by our house, so we've been going to jump in mud puddles there.

@mindyb2019 My anxiety has been off the chart this past week

@legallykate DH and I are both "essential" - Adding job / financial stress on top of it is so hard. I'm a little concerned about how this impacts my job longer term - my performance metrics, milestones, etc, but I know I am "safe" for at least six months.

@sejica Silver linings wherever you can find them right?

@runningoncookies I am amazed at how fluid teachers have been through all this. Remote learning is just ... not happening here.
@li@linzrunz I keep seeing everyone enjoying lovely weather and buying kiddie pools "for the quarantine" and i'm over here like... it's be cool if it stopped snowing? Solidarity.

  • @gingermama29 same, I want to at least get outside the house for more than just grabbing our mail multiple times a week! It still a little chilly for us, but I think we're finally starting to average in the 50s every day

@jackie_dunny seriously, how could you possibly enforce going outside only ONCE a day?? What if a nosy neighbor was lying anyway? lol

@mindyb2019 hope those antibiotics kick in real soon so you can feel better! YH is sweet for taking care of you when you really needed it

@legallykate that's good that you got some reassurance on your job. I haven't been following the Masked Singer much, but the few times I've watched it I've enjoyed it! You'd think I could more easily make a weekly show part of my routine but WFH actually seems to make that less likely to happen!

@sejica show off those muscles!! That's an impressive lift with a garage

@runningoncookies now, if you did have a Youtube channel.. what would you talk about??

@linzrunz yay positive OPK!! Egg should still be good. I feel like the issue comes more into play if it happens really early? Don't quote me on that though, I'm not a doctor lol ugh, I can't believe you're getting snow again! We should be finally done unless we get some weird cold blast. I want our snow blower moved back to the corner of our garage and not in front of the people door!

@the_road_to_oz you can never be too careful! That really sucks about the miscommunication. What hassle... and why do we always have to deal with that crap just to have a kid??? *sigh*

CD: 20 something, don't feel like checking

WAYDTGKU: HIO with conceive plus, temping, OPKs every 3rd day until it stops looking like a squinter, various pills

R/R: Ok, got the last presentation out of the way at work this morning so now I think I can finally feel like breathing for the rest of the week! I will make a point to remove all the winter decor from our house by this weekend. DH asked me to remove the winter wreath from our front door this morning because birds had started stealing some of the fake pine and twigs for their own nests  :D

CS/Q: temps have finally gone back to normal in the 97 range!

  • I didn't want to mislead anyone, there are no cars in said garage, just garden/recreation stuff - mower, wheelbarrow, generator, kayak - so I haven't needed to get in there since the fall, which is when he 'replaced' the old broken one. I would prefer the old one to this lol. I didn't put the wheelbarrow up, and he can get the mower out himself - maybe that will motivate him to finish the job (my personal pet peeve is half finished tasks.)

@runningoncookies sorry you've having to learn so many different tools on top of all the work of transitioning to virtual environment.

@linzrunz I think the egg should be fine, the short luteal phase length is always my concern with a late o.

  • @sejica I don't own much in the way of spring decor. Unless you count all the moss balls, pinecones, and other tree pictures we have. I don't do like, Easter eggs or bunnies around the house. Fall and winter is really all I decorate for and most of that is just the seasons and not the holidays. At some point I would like to find a garland for each season and maybe holiday to go on the long shelf we have over our TV on the wall.

  • @the_road_to_oz ugh how frustrating about the miscommunication! We have “places to stand” in our stores, too. There’s a queue to get in as only a certain amount can be in there at a time and they’ve boxed out 6ft areas for each person to stand in. It’s the same inside the store. Only two people are allowed in the little box they mapped out (one on each side of the aisle) and only a certain amount of people are allowed in each aisle at a time. There are employees making sure it all runs smoothly. It all sounds a bit extreme when I say it out loud lol but I think it’s necessary.

@inthewoods23 I know 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I have no idea how they’re actually enforcing it but I’m glad they’re trying. I think the main reason they’re doing it is because despite all of their efforts, people are STILL ignoring the rules and lots of places are still quite crowded (from what I hear). Yay for finishing your presentations! Good luck getting all the winter stuff down!

  • @runningoncookies You are amazing for doing so much for your students, I hope they and their parents are appreciative!

@linzrunz Yay for positive OPK! Hope you made the most of it ;)

@the_road_to_oz Yay for walking but sorry for creepiness. And being essential must be such a mixed bag right now but job security is a blessing for sure.

@inthewoods23 Yay for being done with your presentations and normal temps!

  • @inthewoods23 that is such a fun question! I've always said that I would have either a travel youtube channel, or a cooking youtube channel, but now I'm really getting the hang of talking about all things speech pathology related...too many options hahaha!
