Re: WTO Wednesday 4/1
Happy April, everyone!🌦💦🌷🌸🌼🌞🌺🌻💐
Month/Cycle: 23/IDK/First cycle trying after 3 cycles benched
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: FF, BBT, OPKs, checking CM & CP, PNV w/Folate, extra extra Vit D3, Fish Oil/DHA, N-A-C, Calcium, Vitex, Ubiquinol, DHEA, Baby Aspirin, Ovasitol, daily moderate exercise for uterine blood flow, meditation, 7-9 hours sleep. Progesterone injections after ovulation.
R/R: Feeling very blessed that we both still have jobs. Feeling terrible for those who are super stressed by losing theirs. Made a financial plan yesterday to sock away as much extra as we can, since we have no idea how this pandemic will play out or how it will impact future finances. That’s helping reduce my stress a bit.
CS/Q: FF is so confused by my cycle this month (BCP before egg retrieval got cancelled, FF is recording it as two periods in one cycle, etc) so not sure if I’ve really O or not. Hanging out here for one more day until temps make it clear.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: temping, Ava bracelet, monitoring CM, OPKs, PNVs plus Vitamin C and B6, HIO, preseed
R/R: Sorry I have been terrible at logging back in for tags, every day just seems to get away from me with work or personal stuff or just pure exhaustion. I thought things had been going really well with work, but this huge project I worked on the last two weeks was just designated nonbillable so I lost like 20 billable hours and now my March was not good and a bunch of other law firms have announced layoffs or pay cuts and I am really anxious about it but feel like it is totally out of my control. And MH is not into HIO this week at all so I feel like we should have just skipped this cycle but now that we have half assed it I want to see it through. Just not doing so well mentally. For those who have asked though, I am really liking the Ava bracelet, obviously it's too soon to tell if it will help but I do think the data it provides seems more reliable than the Femometer I was using for BBT, I like that it measures my temp throughout the night since my wakeup times have been erratic as of late.
CS/Q: Not yet, still thinking O will be this weekend.
Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017

Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD: 5
WAYDTGKU: bbt cm cp charting, seed cycling
R/R: we planted some our garden yesterday, which was fun, but man am I sore. It's been 4 years since I had a garden because we moved and I forgot how much fun/work it is.
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, HIO, CB fertility Monitor, Tracking CM
R/R: Well, talked to my doctor yesterday on the phone. Had me email him pictures of my ears from all angles lol was kinda weird but then he called me back and apparently, just from my pics I have Cellulitis (No, Not cellulite. I dont have fat ears) haha 🤣 Its a bacterial skin infection that can spread inside your body and to your lymph nodes and bloodstream through a cut or scratch etc. So I guess with me it got in my body and spread to my ears, that's why they have been hurting and red and swollen and felt hot to touch. I guess cellulitis is caused by some staphylococcus bacteria which is kinda scary. No idea where the hell I got this from?? 🤷♀️ So now I'm on these giant antibiotic pills for 7 days. I have to take 4 pills a day. He said this infection can sometimes cause headaches and nausea and fatigue so I guess that's why I had all those things lately. yay problem solved I guess but not happy about having an infection. I guess its better then having Covid 😆 I'm hoping these antibiotics help me feel better soon and actually work.
CS/Q: Can antibiotics cause delays in TTGP or my CM or Ovulation?
@keikilove Happy April. I'm glad you guys made a financial plan to save some money. That's a good idea. I feel blessed that I still have a job too.
@legallykate I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time this cycle mentally. I'm also sorry that it's been tough with your job and that you lost a lot of billable hours. I'm glad your liking the ava bracelet so far.
@sejica yay for gardening. I love gardening too. Me and DH last weekend planted our little plants outside into our garden. We had started them inside but they had gotten big enough to go out now.

@legallykate sorry for the loss of billable hours. I've been curious about the Ava bracelet. Glad to hear you like it.
@sejica oooh I need to get into my garden soon.
@mindyb2019 glad you finally have answers about your ears and headaches. Cellulitis can definitely be scary so I'm glad you're getting it treated. I hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and help you feel better.
Month/Cycle: 10/6
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: prenatals, temping, currently NTNP
R/R: I had a good department meeting last night over video chat. We spent the time catching up with the week and discussed what we're doing for our students this upcoming week as well as the challenges of virtual teaching for the arts. It's nice to check in with my colleagues once a week both for the socialization and collaboration.
I didn't end up baking yesterday like I'd planned but I made some great progress on my cross stitch. Still many, many, many hours of work left in this project, but it's really coming along nicely and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
CS/Q:
@legallykate I'm sorry you're feeling stressed about work...that all sounds super tough and frustrating.
@sejica that's nice that you were able to get out and do some gardening! DH and I are planning to clean up our garden and do some planting this weekend. He has been doing so much work in our backyard recently, so I figured it's time for me to pull my weight lol!
@mindyb2019 yikes!! Hopefully the antibiotics help quickly! Hopefully it doesn't affect your cycle!
@gingermama29 it's good that you are able to meet consistently with your colleagues, and that they are productive meetings! My team is trying to do weekly video meetings, but they have not been the most productive lol...
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: temping, prenatals, tracking CM
R/R: Not really a whole lot going on today. I'm in a wedding this summer, and I ordered a few dresses to try on at home. They are supposed to come today so I'm super excited about that!
CS/Q: nope
Month/Cycle: 10/9/3(al)
CD: 5
WAYDTGKU: BBT, opks, prenatals.
R/R: Not a whole lot going on today. I had some issues with my grocery order, which is annoying, but it seems like alot of people are having issues with that right now. Im waiting on my brothers friend to send me photos of dachshund mix puppies that he rescued! I've been trying to talk DH into letting me get a puppy for a while now, and he's finally caving. 😅FX that theyre cute!
CS/Q: not much to see right now. But, does anyone have a good resource for taking baby aspirin while ttc? Ive read conflicting info on it, but have seen it recommended in a ttc after ectopic group that i am in to help reduce any inflammation.
@keikilove That's wonderful that you are able to keep both jobs right now! Im praying that it stays the same for us. Thankfully being quarantined has saved us money because we aren't eating out, and spending money in dumb ways. Hope you get some clarity with your chart!
@legallykate im sorry that your billable hours got messed up:/ thats a bummer. I hope things go smoothly for you through this covid stuff. Im glad you are liking your ava! I have heard mixed reviews.
@sejica Enjoy your garden! They are a ton of work!
@mindyb2019 Omg! i hope you feel better soon! thats great that he was able to diagnose over the phone though! I hate those big pills too, GL!
@gingermama29 Glad your dept meeting went well! I bet it was lovely to have some convo after being stuck at home. I bet you are just the cutest human, with your music, baking and cross stitching. You're going to be the cutest mom!
CD: Don’t know, don’t care.
WAYDTGKU: NTNPish
R/R: Happy Hump Day and Happy April!! Hope you are all having great days so far! Just powering through the work week...ready for the weekend though! The weather is nicer today, so hopefully we can get a nice long walk in tonight!
CS/Q: None, not tracking the rest of the cycle.
@sejica glad you enjoyed gardening!
@mindyb2019 oh goodness, glad your doctor was able to diagnose it and get you some medicine to start!! Hope that takes care of it quickly and your pain stops soon!
@runningoncookies enjoy your at home fashion show! ☺️
Month/cycle: 12/10
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: NTNP but nothing's really going on bc we're both so tired at the end of the day
R/R: I was feeling really down about everything yesterday but the sun's out today and that makes everything seem much more manageable.
It's hard to think about doing this for a whole month more when in reality I know it's likely going to be more than that. Hoping to do a long run today or tomorrow, and planning a route through a park with a bunch of blooming Cherry blossoms which will be pretty! Watched the first 3 episodes of Tiger King and I'm hooked (but DH keeps rolling his eyes).
CS/Q: none
@keikilove I feel the same way about our jobs. This is a crazy time enough without worrying about jobs.
@legallykate sorry to hear about your hours, that's stressful. Fingers crossed for you. Is this your first cycle with the Ava bracelet? I'm interested to hear how it goes!
@sejica I love gardening! It really takes a lot out of you though. What did you plant?
@gingermama29 glad you had a good meeting! We've been doing so many- school and department wide- I feel like I'm in them all day. Seriously in one right now, 3rd if the day, 3 hours of meetings today.
@bluetickgal yay for good weather! Enjoy your walk tonight!
@legallykate I'm so sorry for the stress at work and the struggle you're having mentally. Sending you lots of comforting vibes. The Ava bracelet sounds awesome. Hope it helps!
@sejica I'm jealous! We have space to have a garden, but my thumb is definitely black. If you ever needed a plant to be killed...I'm your woman. I can keep pets alive...just not plants. haha
@mindyb2019 I'm so glad that your doc was able to figure out what was going on! Hope the antibiotics kick that thing quickly and the headaches go away. Sending healing vibes your way!
@gingermama29 Cross stitching sounds so relaxing. You should post updates in the crafting thread. Also, how is your kitty doing?
@runningoncookies Yay for some semblance of normalcy, even if you'll be trying them on at home. It's almost like shopping. Hope one of them works out for you!
@photographerwife Omg puppies!! I've been looking at puppies for weeks and H won't let me get one. I'm glad yours finally caved!
@bluetickgal Yay for nice weather! Hope the walk is nice today!
@_orchid_ Glad the sun is shinning! That makes it so much easier to handle things for sure. And yes for watching Tiger King! That show is so bad it's so good!
Month/Cycle: 3/3 after 3 years during round 1
CD: 23
WAYDTGKU: adult naptime, peeing on things
R/R: I'm so confused by my cycle even more now. My body feels like it's gearing up for AF. I'm breaking out, I have a migraine (usually comes a couple days before AF) and I'm so irritable. But AF isn't due for another week and a half. And I'm not sure if I ever O'ed. So I'm just frustrated.
On a happier note, we took the dogs out for a hike yesterday. Sierra is so good at hiking off leash, but Posey is very prey driven and likes to take off. We're working with him to practice off leash and he did so well yesterday! He got all the treats after we got back to the car. I usually take the treats with me on the hike so we can reward him as it happens, but I forgot them in the car. So we gave him lots of love and pets on the hike. Hoping we can get them out again today since the weather is supposed to be nice again.

@linzrunz I’m so sorry your feeling confused this cycle and frustrated. I’ve been there. I hate those weird cycles and not knowing what’s going on with your body. I have a feeling this cycle is going to be one of those again for me too. hang in there. Glad you were able to get our hiking with the dogs. I bet they loved all the treats.
@bluetickgal Happy Hump day too. And April fools today also. Seems like everyone had nice weather today yay. I hope your able to get out for your walk later tonight. Enjoy that!
@gingermama29 glad you had a good meeting with your colleagues and got some good cross stitching time in. What are you working on?
Month/Cycle: NTNP
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: Using condoms less
R/R: I left the house for the first time since February today! (Minus a walk up the road to a field for the dog) it was just to the grocery store but still. I had a fever the first two weeks of March and then wasn’t allowed back to work because DH then had symptoms of coronavirus and mine eventually showed up as well. He never had a fever but we both had a cough and really bad shortness of breath (we couldn’t even talk after going up a few steps), it was pretty bad. Unfortunately we were never tested because we were in the early stages where we live in the UK and they were only testing the elderly and people who have been exposed or travelled at the time but we’re both pretty sure we had it so we stayed home for an extra long time just in case. We were both really excited to leave the house but only one of us was able to go in the store. I have really bad social anxiety so it was kind of hard being around people especially when I’m nervous enough about COVID but I think it was important that I do it before I slip back into bad habits. I was just starting to get better and back to more of a routine when I got sick so that was really frustrating. On the bright side, my hubby has drawn me a nice warm bath so I’m enjoying that at the moment!

R/R: I'm probably not actually busy, but it feels like everything is top priority, must answer ASAP stuff right now so it feels like I'm not getting anything done at work. I did a presentation on a new product we recently released and I had thought to make a silly joke like the presentation was actually for something else, but completely forgot. I get so nervous before presentations, especially ones that I didn't even put together so I've had very little time to prepare. What probably should have taken a half hour took me 20 minutes. Whoops lol.

We have 2 edible beds and a bunch of pots, plus I'm always expanding our ornamental beds. We moved to this house Oct '18, and I like to experience all the seasons before I start messing with stuff. So far I've just sown the onions and lettuce, but will be doing radish/carrot/turnip next, followed by summer and winter squashes, Bush and pole beans, corn, cucumbers, marigold and zinnia. I'm browsing online plant sites under the assumption I wont be able to get my tomato, pepper, basil, rosemary, and thyme plants locally next month
@runningoncookies hope the dress trying on went well!
@mindyb2019 cross stitching is pretty easy I've you get started. It can be super intimidating though, especially depending on the kit you buy. Dimensions is my go to brand. All of the thread comes pre-sorted and labeled and the guide is easy to follow. If you do get into it, start with a small easy project to gain confidence before jumping into a big project.
@photographerwife you are the sweetest 💕. FX YH agrees to getting a puppy!!
@bluetickgal hope you were able to get your walk in yesterday. The weather was finally sunny here too.
@_orchid_ it's crazy how much the weather affects our mood. I've noticed if I dwell on the long term of this Coronavirus stuff, it ramps up my anxiety. I'm trying to take it a day at a time. The sunny weather definitely helps though.
@linzrunz you're sweet to ask. My kitty is doing great. He has two days off meds left, is healing well, and is back to his normal cuddly and quirky self. Sorry for the continued confusing and frustrating cycle. Glad you got out walking with your dogs the other day though!
@jackie_dunny it's a really big project with kittens in a yarn basket. Glad you're finally feeling better. Weirdly, I hope it was covid that you just had! Hopefully that means you're immune now or at least significantly lower risk of contacting it ever again. Here's the project I'm working on it you're curious. I've actually made more progress on it since I took this picture yesterday morning
@inthewoods23 I get that ready in presentations too. Hopefully it went well though!
