Thanks @BusinessWife for forcing me to be positive today. Here's what I can think of off the top of my sleepy head this am:
I'm grateful for this baby girl in my belly. My husband for being the best partner in life. My dog, who has be following me around constantly. I keep wondering if he can hear baby's heartbeat My family and loved ones - and friendships internet based For having my job with the same pay/benefits and being able to wfh. I have the best boss. My health and access to healthcare All the essential workers continuing to go out and do their job so that we may be protected and continue living our lives. Shoutout to all the healthcare workers (including my brother), grocery store workers (including my cousin), and so many more!!! Netflix Amazon Prime Grocery deliveries That I can still order takeout to be delivered and support local businesses. That I'm out of first tri and still have a few more months until delivery. All of those who are isolating themselves to help flatten the curve. #alonetogether

So grateful for DD, she is such a sweet girl and the joy of my heart So grateful for this sweet little sibling growing in my tummy, and the chance to be parents to two beautiful babies Grateful for the roof over our heads, the house is far from perfect, but for now it feels like home Grateful for DH through all of this, he is nothing if not resourceful! And capable, and I feel confident we could weather anything together Grateful for a well-stocked fridge, freezer and pantry Grateful for spring in the air and the birds tweeting on the breeze Grateful for DHs family, even though my own may be gone oh, I don't feel quite so alone Grateful for our health, for the time being, and that DH "only" had a flu Grateful for friends and family, and the ability to reach out and stay in touch Grateful for yesterday's fresh baked bread, and today's double batch of banana muffins LOL Grateful for the chance to slow down, rest and maybe take it a little easy today
I'm thankful for a lot of things but mostly that we have been able to stay healthy so far! I'm grateful that I am able to work from home and that our government has been able to work around the law's pertaining to schools so that all the families can stay safe. I am lucky to have a roof over my head, a paycheck, a house stocked with essentials, and sunny warmer weather to brighten our moods. ♥️
I’m thankful for my husband who has been cooking me a delicious breakfast during our WFH time (he already cooks all the dinners too!). I’m thankful for a “job” (aka grad school) at a university that is endowed enough to continue to support me for a few more years. I’m thankful for my dogs because they’re so darn cute and they are loving having us home all the time. I’m thankful for technology for letting me keep a weekly coffee date tradition alive with my friends (virtually, from our own homes). And of course the little baby growing in my belly 😊
@BusinessWife I am also making some banana baked goods today! I (not so secretly) purposely let my bananas get too ripe 😝
Thanks for forcing me to stop and think about all the wonderful things I have to be thankful for, even in the midst of this chaos. - my family's health -DH just overall....he is a first responder (firefighter/medic) and is really kicking as* and taking names - DD is a happy little camper no matter what we are doing. - Our jobs. We still have them, and that is more than a significant percentage of people in our state - a full pantry - the ability to work from home despite my burning desire to be on the front lines with my coworkers - coffee - the fact that each day I am able to feel these babies bouncing around in my belly more and more
I'm going to use this as an exercise in taking things I'm annoyed by or aren't ideal and finding something to be grateful for.
Crazy children -Healthy children with no medical issues
My A/S place's billing issues. (See check-in thread) -That they called this morning and gave me the information I need to get a refund from my insurance.
Telemedicine appointments -That I'm having another low risk pregnancy that doesn't require in-person appointments and can have OOH care.
H's long days and long commute. -That so far he is able to continue to work.
Stuck at home -That I'm able to be a SAHM and that the weather is warming up so we can get outside more.
The dishes need washed -That the house is mostly clean other than that and that we have a dishwasher.
