TWW Weekend 3.21-3.22

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. R/R: I'm working on getting caught up with grad school. Things are looking optimistic and my professors have been happy to work with us. I'm also working on getting registered for summer term- my last foundation term before I start practicum and internship year. I'm really excited about it, and I'll be working on my addictions counseling certification next term as well. It won't be an easy road but we're making it work.

GTKY: What are you doing to keep your spirits up during this uncertain time? Making sure I get my self care in - hot baths, playing music, taking naps when necessary, etc.

@ashaislurking I’m glad your professors are willing to work with you during this craziness!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 34/12

    Timing: -4, -2, -1, +1

    Typical LP length: 12ish

Testing: BFN Thursday morning and again today

R/R: womp womp, feeling pretty bummed about the BFN again today. I was feeling so so positive this cycle! Not really feeling AF  symptoms, and my temp is still up but I’m just feeling a little discouraged today...

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What are you doing to keep your spirits up during this uncertain time? Trying to exercise at least a little bit each day, and limiting time spent watching TV. DH bought me a paint by numbers so I’ll be trying out a new hobby next week lol!

@ashaislurking so glad your professors have been working with you and things are going well! Seeing that end stretch is so exciting and gratifying!

@runningoncookies so sorry for the BFNs. A paint by number sounds really cool! Definitely share a picture when you're done!

    Month/Cycle: 9/5

    CD/DPO: 97/10

    Timing: -2

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: WFAF

R/R: Still really struggling with anxiety. Yesterday was a really difficult day, exacerbated by the power being out, high winds, and no internet connection which made me feel cut off from the world. Today is already better. I'm glad DH doesn't have to work on weekends. We did some cleaning of the house today with more plans to continue later. Right now we're taking a cleaning break and watching the McMillions documentary on HBO and working on my cross stitch.

CS/Q: big temp spike this morning

GTKY: What are you doing to keep your spirits up during this uncertain time?
I've been working on my cross stitch project a lot. It gives me a break from social media and is an excellent distraction.

@runningoncookies. Lurking but I love paint by numbers.  Enjoy it!

@runningoncookies Sorry about the BFN. I'd completely forgotten about paint by numbers - what a great idea! Hope it's a welcome distraction.

@gingermama29 I wish I had the patience for cross stitching. I follow a lady on Instagram who does the most beautiful embroidery, and she's just started punch needling. If you'd like some pretty distractions to look at she goes by Thread Folk

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 27/8

    Timing: Good.

    Typical LP length: 13-14 days.

    Testing: Not yet.

R/R: Spent the morning sitting outside in the sunshine drinking coffee with my sister while our pups ran around the yard and played with each other. They're the funniest combination - I have a groodle and she has a sausage dog, so polar opposites in the size department but the best of friends!

    CS/Q: n/a

GTKY: What are you doing to keep your spirits up during this uncertain time? Reading books - I love to read. Also trying to focus on the things I *can* control, and use this time at home as an opportunity to catch up on things that we'd like to improve around the house/garden and get in some extra study time.

@gingermama29 I’m sorry that you’ve been struggling with your anxiety. I’m hoping that the weekend is continuing to help you feel a little calmer!

@thebeelady it sounds like you had such a nice morning yesterday! I spent some time reading outside and it was so nice to be out in the sunshine!

Month/Cycle: Two years in Jan 2020

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: Pretty much perfect

    Typical LP length: 14 days

Testing: Tuesday. I'll be 9 DPO which is the earliest it would show, and TW death
My grandpa's funeral is that day. He knew we were trying, and a BFP would be incredibly meaningful this cycle.

R/R: My medicated cycle is canceled for next month.  Honestly - this might be it for us. I'm 35, DH is 42, so if this delays things by a year... well it's a big deal.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What are you doing to keep your spirits up during this uncertain time?  Honestly - nothing. Nothing is making it better. (see above TW) and my RE canceling treatment, and work is insane, and DH and I are both "essential" and (TW LC)
Day care is closed, so I am taking him to work

    I'm just overwhelmed. I'm tired. I'm sad. I'm scared.
We are also on the border with NY (like... feet away) so everywhere we normally go is in 100% lockdown as of tonight.
    This is so so hard.

@thebeelady read anything good? I feel like I've read almost everything by my normal favorites. I read... a lot.
@gingermama29 I am struggling with my mental health right now too,
@ashaislurking That is a pretty looking chart! I hope it stays that way!!!! FX!!!
    @runningoncookies Sorry about the BFN.

@the_road_to_oz I just read Jill Mansell's latest 'It started with a secret' - very light and easy to read if you want something fun and uplifting. And just to flip things on their head I'm now reading one by David Baldacci - a bit more thinking and a lot less uplifting!

@thebeelady too much heavy in real life. Bring on the light and fluffy
