@bluetickgal thanks girl! I have taken letrozole unmonitored as well. It was when I was with my OB. I agree now that my RE doesn’t want to prescribe me letrozole, I shouldn’t take it. I hope your cycle can proceed as normal!
@manillabar thanks for the info! Definitely made me feel a lot better. I was in shock yesterday when my nurse called me. Now that ASRM has this new guideline I feel like I should better accept the reality...
@mvt2003 same here! DH agrees to try on our own for this month. It just feels so weird as now I seem to get control of my body back?! I am ready to enjoy my time off fertility meds/BCP
@inthewoods23 its a tough decision, I feel you there is so much uncertainty. I would never imagined things got escalated so fast. *TW* The RE I saw in China told us he has a few patients who did multiple IVFs without success then conceived naturally during lockdown. *TW* It’s wishful thinking, but maybe we can be the lucky ones?!
@ramzlau so sorry your RE is not responding... it’s so frustrating. and I have the same scare. What if some of our couple friends who aren’t trying “accidentally KU” during this time?!!! (Well I have deleted my social networking apps long time ago, in the hope that I won’t learn unwelcome news)
@inthewoods23 I am happy you guys are going to at least try naturally for the next few months. I hope the diet is the trick, as that would be amazing for you guys!!! FX I agree with you, this is the BEST group of women in the whole world!!! And that Gordon Ramsay GIF is the greatest, I love when I get to see it!!
@mvt2003 My vote is for you to still try naturally too! So I'm glad that's the way you are going. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason... maybe the reason is that we are ALL gonna get KU naturally now! haha One can hope, right?!
@ramzlau I wish I could say I had this attitude all the time, but I have my rough moments for sure... just ask @bows22 , @bluetickgal , @kiki047and @mvt2003 And anyone else on this thread, really. They have all helped talk me off the ledge of giving up. I think the key is letting yourself feel all the feels that you have and then pick yourself up and try and look for the bright side. It's not always easy, but I find that it is necessary. I'm sending you so many hugs and so many positive vibes - I'll be your positive outlook while you can't.
@sheepshepherdess Hi there! I don't have any experience with donor sperm but I wanted to say welcome to our little group!!

@bows22 and your message made me a little teary too. Thank you for the love! @mvt2003 oh friend, I am so gutted for you. Bless your beautiful H, already so overprotective of your embabies. @nitnat007 YAY transfer buddy!! So glad everything went well for you too. Will be keeping everything crossed for you. When is your beta? My RE is letting me come in early at only 10dp5dt instead of the usual 12-14. @kpearse99 I am so relieved now that it's over and can look back on it as a positive experience. My ER felt traumatizing, even though it all went smoothly, I left feeling drained and scared. This was was in the same room, so I was worried it would be triggering and it was anything but that. @bluetickgal I so hope you're able to proceed with your IUI after all this!! FX! @inthewoods23 I'm so so sorry you're faced with even more delays. I am really holding out hope for you that this diet might be the key to your unexplained dx, and maybe, just maybe, it could still happen for you naturally. Either way, lots of love to you and YH as you navigate this together. @ramzlau 1000% with you on being so triggered by the corona baby jokes. Even MH brought it up last night as he was scrolling through FB in bed. He was so angry at all the people sharing that. @sheepshepherdess welcome to our little IF haven. It's been a while since we've had a same sex couple on here, but I'd say you qualify and are more than welcome to join us. Can't comment on the donor aspect but supply is definitely a concern of ours with MFI so we have a frozen semen sample in our back pocket just in case we ever need it down the road. (admission: when I was first reading your post and you said something about the donor running out, I thought you meant he like ran away and ditched you... and then I figured out what you were saying lol).
AFM, still quasi self-isolating in our house this week but MH has to go back to the office starting tomorrow so I'm nervous. We have left the house in the last 5 days to go to the hospital for the FET, then McD's drive thru, then I had to go to acupuncture and MH went to the store (which he said was basically empty so he was able to stay far away from everyone). We went for a walk yesterday and I may have overdone it a little (we took a different route than we normally do going around the block and it took us a little further from home than I would've liked), and I was spotting all evening so we're obviously freaking out a little. But the spotting has stopped today so I'm trying to convince my brain that it was just residual spotting from the procedure itself because I normally spot for 2-3 days even after my mock transfers and IUIs.
TTC History:
Me: 36 MH: 39, TTC since Dec 2017

Dec '18-Mar '19: Letrozole + TI - all BFN
Apr '19: Letrozole + TI, - BFN. Repeat SA (27mil) & DNA fragmentation test (17%)
@kiki047 that's the hope/plan! If it is actually the diet, well the next time we'll really have to be sure we don't start until we're ready just in case it actually happens quickly. Total change of pace right? Anything under a year will feel like an oops baby now. Glad to hear the spotting stopped!
My coworker tried to joke about the whole "in 9 months..." thing and I immediately chimed in with "now is actually a really bad time to do that". Idk what it is, but I am much more willing on calling people out lately

@manillabar thanks for posting that...made me feel better about our decision!
@inthewoods23@mvt2003 I’m sorry you both cancelled your cycles, this sucks so bad! 💜 Sending hugs your way! I hope the natural cycles work out...I’m with what @kpearse99 said, let’s give IF the big middle finger and all get KU on natural cycles!
@ramzlau sorry you can’t get any response from your RE...I hope you hear something soon! That is so frustrating! @sheepshepherdess welcome! No insight on the donor sperm, but I hope all works out well with your IUI!
@kiki047 I hope the spotting was just from the procedure, so glad it stopped! I hope you can have a more relaxing rest of your TWW!!
AFM, we had a good discussion last night and decided to cancel IUI this cycle (it probably would have been cancelled anyways)! We just felt like it wasn’t the best thing for us to do while all this is going on, so we are just going to delay for a month or two. I’m still taking the Letrozole (like normal) and we’ll most likely NTNP...but we haven’t decided for sure on that! May still go all out and hope for the best! 🤷🏼♀️
I just want to say that I love you all so very much

I am sooo soo sorry to all of you ladies who had to cancel cycles. I am so very sad for all of you. Hopefully things get back to normal sooner rather than later.
In reference to the article posted regarding pregnancy and COVID, I am very unsure about the viruses ability to cross over the placenta. At work they tell us that it is unlikely that it can do so (I work in a Maternity hospital), however I read an article recently about a woman in England who gave birth to a baby who was positive when tested minutes after birth. So I honestly do not know what to believe right now, I think they are just so uncertain on the way the virus works still.
AFM: Thank you all for the congratulations on passing finals! It is such a relief, this was most definitely the most challenging class for me thus far. I am frustrated though because while other schools have transitioned to distance learning, we have just had the final term pushed back a month, which brings graduation until almost the end of June. And considering it is a technical school, one would think we had the resources to move it all online as well.. ugh. As far as my cycle, we have not had to cancel yet, I am sure that could change at any moment though. I go on Friday for follicle monitoring, so we will see how that goes. My thought is that maybe they are trying to get through what they can before canceling anything? Who knows, everything is literally so uncertain in this world right now.
edited: to tack on how much I love all of you! This has to be the most amazing group of women I have had the privilege of coming to know! Everyone here is so strong, and we will all make it through this difficult time together!!

So I am moving forward with my cycle as planned. I feel guilty writing that here as I know many of you have had to cancel or have had to make the difficult decision to hold off for now.
DH and I were out for a hike yesterday afternoon when my doctor called. It was my actual doctor making the phone call so I thought we were being cancelled. He explained that they met to discuss the report that was released on Tuesday, and because I am already in a cycle they are recommending that I continue. DH and I had already discussed moving forward if given the option, so we were able to give our answer right away. My doctor did say that things are changing everyday, so it's not a guarantee that we will make it to transfer next week, but for now that's the plan. Lining check is tomorrow morning.
I'm so sorry to everyone who's cycle's have been cancelled, my heart goes out to you. I can plan to keep all further updates about this cycle to myself so as not to upset anyone.
@feather_heather I am SO FREAKING HAPPY FOR YOU, FRIEND!!!!!! You are in the middle of a medicated cycle, it makes all the sense in the world to continue. IMO you should absolutely continue sharing updates.

@abarr723 sorry for the added stress with your term getting pushed back! Hopefully they get moved to online soon instead! Good luck with your follie check tomorrow, fingers crossed you get to proceed with your IUI!
@feather_heather so happy you are proceeding...don’t feel guilty at all!! I’m rooting so hard for you, friend!! 💜
I went in for follicle monitoring alone this morning because of virus restrictions. Well, things had progressed so much that we did a surprise IUI today. They have cancelled many appointments until the whole virus thing calms down, so the office that I normally have to wait a while in was dead. I came straight home and triggered.
@feather_heather Wishing you so many good vibes in proceeding with the cycle!
@feather_heather that's awesome!! FX that you get to do the transfer next week!! yayy!! @bluetickgal thanks love, hopefully they get it together and figure something out! I'm ready to blow through this final 10 weeks and finish school!
Also, I will totally keep any updates to myself, I don't want to upset anyone who has had to cancel. I can find a million other things to talk about. Like how I took vacation from work for 10 days and I am thoroughly enjoying hanging around the house with my pups doing a whole lot of nothing, and not dealing with whatever nightmares are going on at the hospital. DH went back to work today after his usual 2 days off. There's no guarantee that he will be able to come home though, there are many other officers who have to be quarantined due to showing signs of illness, so they're super short right now.

I miss you guys! I am SOOOO sorry to have been completely MIA all week!😢 I posted my own long personal saga over in last weekend’s IF thread, & then got locked out of the site all week until just now. I could view everything you posted but couldn’t even lovetit & couldn’t get back in. My sincere apologies for posting last week, then ghosting, & not being able to support you all over this treacherous past week!
So first off, a HUGE 🎊CONGRATULATIONS🎉 to @kiki047 and @nitnat007!! It was honestly so wonderful to read your sweet updates (happy tears & sniffles over here!) and cross fingers that you both get the h*** up out of here—especially under the circumstances! I’ve been thinking of you both & sending positive energy all week.💕💕
@feather_heather Please DO continue to update us! I agree with others: we need all the happy uplift we can get around here!🤞🏽
@sheepsheperdess Welcome & congrats on your surprise IUI! My first one was like that & it was the least stressful of them all. FX it gets you out of here ASAP!
@emeraldduchess Hooray for moving forward! I’m glad you have something positive to look forward to.
@abarr723@mvt2003@pom9207@inthewoods23@bluetickgal@shoogapoff@the_road_to_oz@ramzlau@manillabar My heart goes out to every one of us that had a cycle cancelled or had to make that tough call to cancel. There are no words to fully capture that disappointment and letdown. But we will get through it! And to the rest of us in this group, let’s all HOHO (Hump Our Hearts Out😆) au naturel this cycle & make our way on over to join the FETember ladies! (Or kick off January.) Wouldn’t that be amazing!!
AFM, all my drama from last week (actually the *most stress* I think I’ve ever felt throughout this entire IF process) was all for naught. Once MH & I finally got our minds calmed, & discussed at length the huge financial commitment of it, & then excitedly determined to do an egg retrieval this cycle—it got cancelled on Monday, just.like.that. (What a rollercoaster this week has been for ALL of us!) I’d already had 4 days on BCP, and once the cycle got cancelled I had 4 days off the BCP before my cycle started again.😫 So here’s where things sit now:
Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL, Elevated NK Cells & Activity, don’t even recall what else right now
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Good ole HIO this cycle. After being benched for Jan & Feb & most of March, I just can’t stand to wait until May or June (at the earliest) to proceed with ER.
How are things going?: Super stressful until today. Finally decided to shut off the TV, do some positive self-talk, meditate, exercise, etc. Things are looking up.
Any questions?: For those of you who’ve experienced withdrawal bleeding after a short round of BCP—how could you tell it wasn’t your real period starting? I’ve had 2 days of bleeding & cramping exactly like my period. When my ER got cancelled the nurse said she thought my cycle would continue as usual—that I’d have my period at the normal time in about 2 more weeks & that it would probably be lighter & shorter than normal. Welp, it’s definitely not lighter! The nurse was shocked this would happen after just 4 days on BCP & then 4 days off; she said it does sound like I started a new cycle.🤷♀️
GTKY: What is the best vacation you've ever taken? Where did you go and what did you do? I can’t think of one! I’ve taken tons of shorter trips & party-with-my-girls mini-vacays, but nothing that felt like a true vacation. Some of you know I live in Hawai’i, so you could say any extended time off of work here is a vacation. If any of you do make it here for your dream trip, let me know!
@keikilove I'm so sorry that after all that your cycle was cancelled! You're always such an encouragement here. Thank you for thinking of all of us, even while you were going through your own stuff.
To all the ladies that have had cycles cancelled right now, my heart goes out to each and everyone of you. Just know that I am thinking of you all and hoping that this situation passes for all of us quickly and we are all back on track in no time. Thank you all for the love and support as well. You ladies are true warriors and I appreciate you all more than you know.
@bluetickgal So sorry that you are not going through with this cycle, but completely understand your decision given the current climate. FX that it is not pushed out too far and you can get back soon.
@inthewoods23 So sad that you are not continuing at this time, but I understand the decision to wait, as hard as it is to do so. I have such a good feeling with your diet and will be sending you all the positive vibes hoping that it is the key for you to get your miracle.
@sheepshepherdess Welcome back! We have used donor, but only one vial and have not been faced with running out. Is there any chance you would be able to choose another? Although, I realize the decision is never an easy one. Yay for a surprise IUI and for those follies growing so well. FX!
@kiki047 We have our beta for Mar 30th. They do a strict 14 days here. If we are still able to go in for blood tests at that stage.Otherwise we will be relying on peeing on a stick. So gad the spotting stopped and it was short lived. Scary! I am rooting so hard for both of us to have positive news soon!
@feather_heather Thrilled that you are continuing and got the all clear from your doctor. I will be rooting for you and hope that you do come update us all. Bring on FETember!!
@emeraldduchess So glad that you will have your consult and that it is via phone! It is nice to see that they will continue with phone consults whenever possible through such unsure times.
@keikilove What a roller coaster you have been on over the last week! I am so, so sorry that you have to wait even longer now when you were so damn ready to start! You are so dang strong though and have always been supportive to all of here! We are here for you too. It just sucks and there are no words. HOHO, love it! And hope that you are started back up sooner than you think! It definitely sounds like you have started a new cycle though. That is strange though.
How are things going?: Super stressful until today. Finally decided to shut off the TV, do some positive self-talk, meditate, exercise, etc. Things are looking up.
@keikilove Girl, That's the attitude I'm talking about!!! I know that you've been through so much, especially these last few weeks and even more so with that crushing news on Monday after you and YH hashed through it all. BUT - You are now, finally, taking time for yourself and getting a positive outlook back. And that is amazing. It's incredible that we, after going through everything we all go through on this journey, can pick ourselves back up and find a positive outlook still. You are a goddess. You are a warrior. You are amazing. I'm sending so much love your way, my friend.

My RE is no longer doing any treatment. So we're out.
This might be it for us, ladies. I'm honestly wondering if given our ages, given the chaos in the world if we are just going to accept that this isn't happening.
My chart looks spot on, so I guess we'll see if we were successful. I have an appointment on the 30th by phone to go over what our next (someday) steps might be, what kind of a time frame they are thinking. We are in Vermont, but on the border with NY, so things have gotten very real here.
@the_road_to_oz oh I’m so, so sorry to hear that! I know that given the situation that it isn’t worth the risk, especially being so close to NY. My heart goes out to you and YH right now. I hope that this is not the end for you and this passes quickly and you are still able to proceed.
@the_road_to_oz I’m so sorry you’re in this boat as well. It’s such a rocky ride. Like Nitnat said, I truly hope that things will subside in time for you & YH to decide that you will continue with the intended plan. Please don’t let age be the deciding factor. I’m praying with all my heart (for all of us) that this situation really has wound down across the country by April or May. I hope this will just be a 2-3 month blip on the bigger picture of all of our success stories.
@nitnat007 Glad to hear you’re doing well! I hope you’re enjoying being PUPO.😊
@kpearse99 Aaaww Thanks, girl! I have to admit, it feels really good to finally be back in a positive frame of mind! You and I both know we’ve been so up and then so very down on this TTC rollercoaster— just like everyone else in this group. The last time I spoke to my RE she said, “Breathe. You need to breathe deeply... This is why people lose their minds doing IVF or ART, period. This is why some people throw in the towel. The constant uncertainty of the whole process is enough to drive anyone crazy.” That actually made me feel better! I’ve posted here a few times like, “So I’m usually very stable & calm but... here’s a mountain of my latest TTC drama.” It’s weird to go through a situation that can make us feel not like our true selves. And then have that abnormal “not myself” feeling become the ongoing stressful normal for months on months on end... We are all goddesses and true warriors for making it this far!💗
@Everyone else who is still reeling from cancelled cycles, I am thinking of you and sending so many positive thoughts and prayers up for you.♥️♥️♥️ Starting a new week is hopefully getting us one week closer to being able to move forward.
Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o 3/16
@sheepshepherdess good luck with the IUI! Welcome to the community

@sheepshepherdess welcome! No insight on the donor sperm, but I hope all works out well with your IUI!

@abarr723 Hope all looks good tomorrow!

Also, deep thanks to @kiki047💗 @pom9207💗 @emmasemm💗 @emeraldduchess💗 @t@the_road_to_oz💗for your incredibly kind & helpful responses to my post last week. Your support meant the world in such a difficult situation.
@feather_heather Please DO continue to update us! I agree with others: we need all the happy uplift we can get around here!🤞🏽
@abarr723 @mvt2003 @pom9207 @inthewoods23 @bluetickgal @shoogapoff @the_road_to_oz @ramzlau @manillabar My heart goes out to every one of us that had a cycle cancelled or had to make that tough call to cancel.
@emeraldduchess - I’m so glad they were able to reschedule it as a telehealth appointment!
@ramzlau Everything crossed for you!
@abarr723 So sorry
@nitnat007 How are you doing, friend?

So we're out.
This might be it for us, ladies. I'm honestly wondering if given our ages, given the chaos in the world if we are just going to accept that this isn't happening.
My chart looks spot on, so I guess we'll see if we were successful. I have an appointment on the 30th by phone to go over what our next (someday) steps might be, what kind of a time frame they are thinking. We are in Vermont, but on the border with NY, so things have gotten very real here.
