Apparently the due date calculators were off some how or my office counts different. My due date is now Oct 14 and I’m 7+6 today. Baby is measuring at 7+3 and has a strong heart beat.
Posted last week in the spotting thread about having an unofficial u/s where my OB couldn’t see anything. He scheduled an official u/s for today (8 days later) and it was the longest 8 days filled with fear and anxiety. We finally had our u/s today at 8w6d and saw baby’s heartbeating strong at 179 BMP and measuring right on track. Scheduled our Csec for 9/30 although my actual EDD is 10/7. I hope you guys will still have me in this BMB!
Appt went well today. Just one baby despite DH dreams of twins. She said my due date would remain 10/20, but I noticed that my ultrasound pictures all said 10/16 so I have no idea what’s up with that. We’re over the moon Over here.
8+5 at my US this past Monday. Active baby squirming around and amazing little heartbeat. Baby even waved at the camera (red arrow pointing to his/her little fingers)
Because of my history, got a surprise ultrasound at my intro visit today. Measuring 6w4d with a visible heartbeat (which should revise my due date to October 26th). I've never had a heartbeat before.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
H didn't make it in time for the US part but here's the little bean! Measuring right to the day at 9+3. Strong heartbeat of 186♥️ sucking his thumb and moving around a bit for mama! Feeling so relieved (for now)
I am very impatiently waiting for my first u/s on Tuesday (I’ll be 9w6d)... all these posts make me giddy for you girls- especially for @mammatoomc and @kboydbowman so glad to hear there were heartbeats 💗 !!

So excited for you!!!! I bet that was an awesome moment.

Today I am 10+3, i got this done on Friday(10+1). It was the most precious thing I have every witness. Being a first time mom, I didn't know what I was getting ready to see. But oh my 🥰😍 we saw the babe move and saw how healthy the babe is with a very strong heart at 188! It made it all so real! My due date is Ocotber 1st like I believed! 😘
@morethanamama Thanks. I'm an ER nurse and tried using our transabdominal u/s to peep my growing LO yesterday and while I totally anticipated not being able to see anything yet, (I'm just 6w 3d per LMP only) I was still pretty disappointed that was the case. I've experienced loss before and seeing just an empty uterus filled me with anxiety. I keep reminding myself that our ultrasound machine probably isn't as good as the one at OB and this early in pregnancy they would definitely use a transvaginal approach...but I'm feeling pretty desperate to see my doc and have some confirmation everything is progressing nornally.
@smalltown_squirrel I totally understand. I was bitching my practice for making me wait until 9 weeks but they told me it's sometimes hard to see well before at least 7 weeks. Were you on a full bladder? I seem to remember that when I went for a US with my son at 6+5 last time they told me that they can see better with a full bladder. We saw the heartbeat but I seriously think it was newly formed. I am guessing you are right at the edge between being able to see things, so I am sending you and your bean all the good vibes
@smalltown_squirrel my OB ordered transvaginal but the tech said she’d try abdominal first. We were able to see everything she needed abdominally. I also have a tilted uterus usually making it more difficult abdominally. With my first I needed transvaginal. But I was happy that wasn’t the case this time.
Had my first ultrasound today! Measuring 8+2 (two days ahead but they’re keeping my due date the same) and very healthy it was a transvaginal ultrasound.
My husband and I drove the long bumpy road from the villages (live in chad) to the capital yesterday morning. We had our first appointment and although the hospital isn’t like in North America - it went really well. We got to hear the heartbeat and little bean squirm inside of me. The wave of relief that flooded me was overwhelming- looking down and seeing Andrews big tears and grin is an image I’ll never forget. In Chad we can’t show physical affection often but he was squeezing my toe haha. Everything seems to be growing normally- the baby is a little small 24.5mm but the OB didn’t seem concerned. My due date is October 8 and I’m 9w6days.
Just got my first ultrasound today! Little lump is doing well, such a relief after having a bit of spotting a couple weeks ago. Measured at 7w5d and a heartbeat of about 150bpm.
Knowing that we have this reassurance, I think it's time to tell our parents! It'll be so good to have in on our little secret.
We just had our first US today and left thoroughly confused. We were expecting to be 8w 1d, but ultrasound showed a yolk sac, but not much else. Had to do some blood work and will be back in on Friday for more blood work to check my pregnancy hormones. Doc seems to think I could have ovulated later than I thought and is not ready to call it a miscarriage. I guess we'll find out for sure Monday, but for now, just a little confused.
Its a baby! Measure exact to the day we anticipated, leaving me at 8wks tomorrow w/ a due date of Halloween! Tiny little thing with a 158 for hr... biggest down of the day was that because of the viral precautions my husband had to wait in the car and I had to be alone. I felt so bad for him as a first time dad to not get to be there to see it live. Dont get me wrong... these precautions save lives, but still a little bummer.
Our first ultrasound went so incredibly today, we are so relieved! Baby was dancing around making me laugh, and we got to its arms & legs (even the hemispheres of its brain), and hear the heartbeat (173bpm). It was wild! Baby is measuring at 10w4d, but since that's so close to the 10w1d that I'm currently at, I get to keep my due date of Oct. 18th. There's a baby in there - it feels so real now!
This one cracked us up because it looks like the baby is flipping the bird, lol.
We had our first ultrasound last week and found out we’re having TWINS! Both babies are measuring the exact same size, a few days ahead of my LMP, and both have great heartbeats. We are so so excited.
My original due date by LMP was November 2nd, but as per today's ultrasound my new due date is October 30 so I shuffled over to this board 😊
I saw a little baby measuring at 8w3d with a good heartbeat at 175 BPM! 😍 My fiancé unfortunately had to wait in the car, but I'm just happy I had good news walking out of there.
So happy that I got to see our baby today! Measuring 10w, but keeping my due date the same so I’m still 9w4d and a HB of 180! I also got my NIPT done and rechecked my TSH level. Such a good feeling!
Measuring right on target. Doc's keeping the 10/22 due date. First time I've ever had a live baby at the dating sono!
