R/R: Well, I don’t have much planned for this weekend. DH and I had to get groceries yesterday evening and it was a bit of a madhouse at all stores. Shelves were empty and bare. People are going crazy. I feel like it’s some apocalypse. I have to work today and after that we plan to do absolutely nothing lol. The rest of the weekend will be nice to hide at home and hibernate lol. It’s been insanely windy here all through the night. I could hear the wind howling and shaking the house while sleeping. It made the power go out this morning twice. Its back on now so that’s good 😁
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 22/5

R/R: My firm officially went to WFH starting Monday for all our offices. Not a huge change for me since I’ve been WFH but now I don’t have to feel guilty about it at least lol. Any suggestions for good shows/movies to watch? I think we are going to run out quickly!
CS/Q: finally CHs! Still not feeling good about my LP tho 😕

R/R: Today is DH's birthday. I'll be making him a cookie cake in a little while and we're doing our St Patty's Day meal tonight too. My sister is here this weekend visiting! She was supposed to go on a cruise at the end of the month but everything just got canceled so she's understandably pretty bummed.
I'm pretty much waiting for word that schools are going to close around here. It seems like it's only a matter of time.
CS/Q: I got my CHs today!

R/R: i feel like every where I turn there's something about covid and I'm over it lol. My school is closed as of yesterday so today was the first day of social isolation and even as an introvert who likes alone time it is a lot. I actually spent a lot of time out today- the weather was nice so I went out for a run, walked around a bit with a friend and got coffee with her- it's so weird to think about not being in groups of people for a while.
CS/Q: none.
@legallykate glad you can wfh without guilt! And yay for CH! did you watch YOU yet? Or GLOW? MH wants to rewatch lost and I refuse bc the ending
@mindyb2019 yay that you made it to the store and are fully stocked! What are some of your essentials? For us this means 3 different types of cookies LOL. I feel like I'm going to get tired of cooking the stuff we have really quick- maybe we can add a weekly "what's for dinner" if people need inspiration.
@gingermama29 happy birthday to YH! so sweet you're making him a cake. And so nice that you'll get to spend time with your sister, even though her cruise was cancelled. Where was it supposed to go?
@jbal918 have fun at the wedding!
@jbal918 welcome! I'm a fellow PCOS-er. Sorry your cycle is a bit confusing. I've had some false surges with temps in my cycles before where I thought I ovulated but didn't. I have abnormally long cycles though. Do you also have longer cycles than most? I'm by no means an expert but am happy to discuss PCOS struggles any time.
@_orchid_ it's pretty crazy. Area schools, including mine also announced they were closed. I'm happy to see everyone taking it seriously and being proactive in slowing the spread. Her cruise was supposed to go to the Caribbean, leaving out of Miami. The plus side of the cancellation is they either get a full refund, or 100% credit for a future booking, plus $600 per stateroom of onboard credit to spend anywhere on the ship.
TW previous pregnancy mentioned....
This is month one but with my son, I took Provera to induce my period because I wasn’t getting it. I’m praying this time my body will know what to do since it’s done it already! Last time, I was on Clomid and Metformin when I got pregnant.
@dobiemom11 thank you! I worked as a cake decorator for a year before I got my teaching job.
@mindyb2019 I hope you had a great lazy weekend!
@legallykate I've been binge watching Grey's Anatomy lately, but there are a lot of triggering topics related to pregnancy to be aware of so exercise caution if you decide to jump in to that series.
@gingermama29 the cookie cake you made looks SO good! I tried making a cookie cake once and failed miserably. I commend those of you who can do it.
@jbal918 I hope you had fun at the wedding!
@_orchid_ I agree that isolating, even as an introvert, can be challenging. Hang in there!
