How far along are you? If you're trying to find out before 17 or 18ish weeks, I'm not surprised. Try a blood test or just have some patience. If it's after that, well, sometimes that happens. Typically, sonographers are pretty accurate if you're far enough along, but there's still a chance for error. Get more opinions, a blood test, or wait for delivery. There's not much else you can do.
No one on here is going to be able to tell you with more certainty than the person who was trained to perform that ultrasound. Anything anyone here can say will just be a guess.
