How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? MS is awful. I started taking b6 and unisom and it’s not taking it away completely like it did for my previous pregnancies. But I’m now only puking once a day instead of 4+ so progress.

Any upcoming appointments? US in less than a week! Finally!

GTKY: What is your favorite meal? I love a good seafood dinner. Crab legs, mussels, shrimp, clams, potatoes and corn. I really hope my husband gets stationed back in Florida again because I miss the seafood markets so much.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? a week after I found out I was pregnant, I started losing my hearing in one of my ears. Moderate to Severe hearing loss. Going to ENT trying to figure out why. Having a lot of issues with my ears, nose and throat. such as sore throat and runny nose for a month now.

Any upcoming appointments? had my US on Monday. So refreshing to have seen the heartbeat!

GTKY: What is your favorite meal? I love tacos. Anything can be made into tacos! I could eat tacos every day!
  • @kalesix3 that’s awesome your provider was able to answer all your questions. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing

@mamaheatherl fx for a good US tomorrow!

@lilbubb, so glad your US looked good!
I hope the ENT is able to figure out what’s going on with your hearing loss.

  • Hey all.. I like the fact this thread exists.
We lost our first last year on Feb 25 but it's a long complicated story. I was 37 weeks, and the hospital chose not to deliver and somewhere overnight, we lost her. I went in with a case of gallstones that turned for the worse and caused pacreatitis, my o.b was not very hands on, nor was the staff at the hospital when we went in, I was drugged up and wasn't aware they never put the monitoring back on after they ran a scan to check the stones. All in all we lost our baby girl due to neglegance and they nearly caused me to die as well. A hospital transfer, kidney failure,a c-section, 3 1/2 months later no more gallbladder or stones, a fatty liver and I was released from the hospital with acute pancreatitis. Had my last check up January 8th where we finally got the ok to try again and fun little suprise we found out a week later I was pregnant. I'm now going into my tenth week tomorrow and am exhausted. The nausea is kicking my ass 50 ways to Sunday.  I can't seem to get anything down anymore and the vomitting has begun. If anyone has a trick that isn't related to ginger, crackers, and declectin I'd love to hear it, right now I'm considering biostrath? Anyone ever try that? Checking with the new o.b & the o.b medical on Friday if it's something I can try.
  • @cynabella, I’m so sorry for all you’ve been through.
I am also getting my ass kicked from all day nausea. What works for me is eating before I get up in the morning, I keep pretzels on my bedside table, and eating something small every 2-3 hours. An empty stomach is the enemy. I also take vitamin b6 and unisom daily which is the biggest helper for me. I’ve never heard of biostrath so I’m no help there.

  • @profmcdonagall Thank you, I'll try that out too, I'll try anything at this point, I don't remember it being this horrendous the first time before the complications started. Btw love the username 😊
  • @cynabella thank you!
I hope you can find something that works!
