  • Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 24+1, 6/21

Previous loss(es)? Two MMCs last yr, 2/19&6/19

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?

I’m feeling a lot better since having my follow up with my OB and fetal echo last week. OB sees no immediate concerns for pre e at this time, my bp was good at the appt, no more swelling and the headaches are manageable with magnesium. Also fetal echo with MFM which was unrelated to the pre e scare just cause I did IVF but also everything looked normal with baby girl. Such a relief.

Physically I’m so tired all the time and feeling bigger by the day. But all in all not too bad.

Any appointment updates? OB again in 2 weeks, will be doing the glucose test again and rhogam shot is coming up soon too.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I officially hit viability yesterday! I still hope she decides to cook until June but so happy that if anything happened now she has a fighting chance.

Any milestones coming up? I’ve passed them all and hitting viability was huge for me emotionally.

  • @hanshotfirst77 yay!  I am so happy you hit viability and everything is looking good with your tests.  I'll update later.
  • Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 27/ May 31/ 1

Previous loss(es)?  Twin MMC, 2 CP

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Overall, I am feeling well emotionally and physically.  I am happy the my sciatica seems to have gone away....  at least for now.  Emotionally, I have started to feel like "wow, this is probably happening.  I better get shit done."

Any appointment updates? After the fetal echo, it was the first time where I really took a sigh of relief.  I passed my second 1 hour glucose.  Next week, I start biweekly OB appointments and I have an ultrasound with the high risk doctor.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Excited to have a 3d ultrasound on Saturday.  It will be the first time DD gets to see baby at an ultrasound.

Any milestones coming up? Passed all the milestones awhile ago.
  • @kerco925 I'm so happy for you that you are feeling better. And I feel so similar, it's starting to feel so real now. That's so exciting you are doing the 3d U/S with your DD. I'm interested in her reaction. DS was at some of my fertility appts in the beginning but that was out of necessity. I've shown him the sonogram's of the baby but he hasn't seen a real U/S that looks like a baby yet.

  • I am hoping baby is cooperative Saturday, because he has been cooperative for exactly zero of my ultrasounds.  I am hoping for this to be a special day, but with my luck, we will get good pictures of the back of his head, lol
  • lol i was kinda disappointed with my fetal echo shots too. She was moving too much to get a decent profile. Fx he cooperates for you!

  • I saw nothing from the fetal echo.  They called him pretzel baby.  They were able to get the info based on movement, because they couldnt see either after 2 failed anatomy scan attempts, lol.  Hopefully he is more cooperative on the outside.
