GTKY 2/27: Which 3 Pills?

Re: GTKY 2/27: Which 3 Pills?

  • 1, 2, and 9! I want to live long for my kids, I’d love to love my body, and who doesn’t want to be rich.

  • I’m a 1,4,7 as well!
  • 1, 4, 9. I was between forever love and healing illnesses, but I have to be able to keep my kids healthy, and I’m pretty secure with my love with my husband.
  • 1, 4, 5 (as I am studying for the world's worst exam). Feel like I already have #6.
  • I'm a 1, 4, 9 as well.

  • I've thought about it more and have to change to 1, 4, and 9. I don't want to have perfect health but see my family sick.

  • 1 and 4 definitely. Who wouldn't want to never be sick ever again. And who wouldn't want to be able to heal sick family and friends instead of having to watch them suffer and feel powerless.

The last one is tough. If I already have perfect health then 2 is only cosmetic stuff. And like of course there are things I would love to change with my body. Like how my nose isn't exactly straight anymore after my 10 month old somehow headbutted me hard enough to break my nose. Or how no matter how hard I try to seem to always end up having my weight settle in the "chubby" territory. Or the obvious scar running down my nose from being scratched by my cat. But I feel like it would be difficult for me to teach my children to love themselves, flaws in all, if I didn't. 9 is also super appealing because who wouldn't want to never need to worry about money again. And as a result never need to work again. But I feel like my husband needs responsibilities to keep him from turning into a total gamer bro which sits around playing video games 24/7. I don't resent him for leaving me with all the work around the house and everything with the kids when he is working. I would resent the hell out of it if he were hanging out playing video games all the time while I did everything. In the end I think infinite money might lead to divorce or at least some serious resentment. 8 is tempting. But if I changed anything in the past maybe I wouldn't have my children now. Who knows what all would change. In the end I'm happy with my life now and I love my family so I wouldn't change anything. I have no idea on the last one.

  • My husband has already told me that he wouldn’t quit his job even if we won the lottery. And with unlimited money I could pay people to cook and clean for me. And I could spend all of my time reading, and exercising, and open an animal rescue, and maybe sit down and write a book finally.
  • 1/4/7 as well
  • Either 1, 4 and 9 or 2, 4 and 9!

  • 1, 4, 9. Nothing more important than health, and money comes in second:)
  • I completely get the appeal of 9 and thought of choosing it myself but I just think of all the “be careful what you wish for” fables. With unlimited money, would it change my relationships, would it change how I raise my children, would they value hard work, would it change how they treat and view others????

I love so many things about our imperfect struggle of a life right now even if our house has a million projects we cant afford and money is always of course on the mind, I couldn’t risk losing simple beautiful parts of my life that I cherish so so much. I also feel the struggle makes me appreciate what we do have even more. I don’t want to lose that feeling either.
  • Also a 1, 4, 9!
  • I'm with you @JLaVO888! I think having the perfect health and being able to heal would also take some financial burden away!

2, 4, and 9! 4 for sure bc my mom has had autoimmune issues her whole life and I don't think there's ever been a time where I haven't seen her sick. I think if I had unlimited money it would allow me to be much more charitable than I can afford to be now.
    (edited because typing is hard)
  • 4 5 and 8 because being able to heal my SOs autoimmune disease would be incredible.
Because smart people can change the world.
And I'd go back and change the outcome for my daughter so she would have survived, and I'd turn my mum into a bear so she wouldn't have been able to split up the family, I'd still be able to see and talk to my siblings if she was a zoo animal 😂
