Outer Cervix Open...
I went to L&D for contractions yesterday. After they checked my cervix for dilation she told me that the outside was open, but she couldn’t get to the inside.
Has anyone every experienced this?

I'm guessing your cervix hasn't effaced much, but I'm not a medical professional.
What did the doctor or nurse say it means? I'm sure they'll have more accurate information than random internet strangers.
