Miscarriage Pill - warning for others

No one warned me how horrible the pill was to induce the miscarriage. I spent the day crippled in pain. My advice to others, take the pain killer when you insert the pills. I thought I'd take them once the pain kicked in. Unfortunately, once that happened I couldn't keep any food or water down for hours. I didn't think I'd experience anything worse than my pregnancy loss but the pain this brought up was much worse.

    Thank you.  I wasn’t even offered this option.  I wish i was though.  I know it’s terrible pain but the waiting to miscarry after fetal demise is so rough. I want to just move on but my body is still pregnant

    OP - I'm so sorry you have gone through this. It's truly awful. I had a similar experience with my MMC in October and if I could go back in time I would not have gone with the Cytotec and had instead opted for the D&C, because that's what I wound up needing anyway since my body retained tissue even after the Cytotec.
