Milk with meals or inbetween?

  I give him a cup of milk with his meals.  I tried giving it to him in between and found that he would fill up on milk and not eat at mealtime.

  I offer it to her all throughout the day, pretty much (meals too.)  She doesn't drink that much, so...

  My kids still get 2 bottles a day (we are going to start dropping the morning bottle) and sippys with lunch and dinner and also after snacks.  We are still struggling to get the full 16-20oz a day.

  i offer it at meals, but if he doesn't drink much i offer it an hours or so later too

  Both of my kids *love* their milk.  I try to keep it to just meals, but it usually extends beyond that.  My 19mo would drink it all day long if I let her, but I only allow water sippies in the car.

  Paige gets sippies at breakfast, lunch and dinner and then she gets water in her water bottle with Gerber water bottle spout throughout the day.  The spouts are WONDERFUL.....especially in the car!!!
