I love Christmas decorations .. it’s so hard to put them away! My sister got fined by her neighborhood for having a strand of white lights out after January 1st. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a client that’s a hike from my house and when I go there I sometimes take a slower way just so I have more red lights/time to look at my phone, versus taking the highway where I can’t.

Ours is still up, but I did try to take it down last week by myself. I couldn't figure out how to get the sections apart. We normally don't put a tree up, but my husband surprised me with just the tree and lights. He knows I love it and was feeling particularly depressed this holiday season. I loved getting home late from work and seeing the lights in the window.

Fines for Jan 1st seems extreme especially because the display didn't sound crazy.

My FFFC - as most of you already know, I'm a crazy dog lady (duh). I follow more dogs than people on Instagram, and one of my favorite Instadogs is Mork Skywalker, who was saved from a slaughterhouse in China. He's just so damn cute, he looks like Baby Yoda. Anyway, my confession is that I just dropped $30 on a Mork t-shirt that says #chubbychibbychops, and I am dying of cuteness.

@ttcbabyodo I am the exact same as you with Instagram, except add a ton of cat accounts too and a few odd other animals

But I also follow Mork!!!!!! He is so adorable.

@ttcbabyodo this is going to sound really weird, but the chubby chibby chops reminds me of a common phrase in the This Cat Is CHONKY FB group I'm in - "there better not be any nip nops in here" referring to posts of cats that still have their nipples 😆

Tuesday when I got to the hospital for my monitoring appointment, I was walking down the hall (it was completely empty because it was 6:45 in the morning) and all of a sudden all the hallway doors surrounding me closed, a bright white light was flashing from the ceiling and a weird alarm started going off! I immediately panicked and thought there was an active shooter (sad that this is where my brain went). I started freaking out and thought I was locked in the hallway. A minute later a doctor comes strolling in and keeps going and that's when I realized I wasn't locked in and I could just open the doors... turns out it was the fire alarm. Good to know that in an emergency I'm just going to stand there frozen in fear. I'm just an all around mess lately lol

I messed up making the coffee this morning. I must not have pushed the carafe all the way in, and the brewed coffee had nowhere to go, and there was a bit of a mess. And to top it off, the coffee I "salvaged" had grounds in it.

Another confession - I'm on a "goodbye tour" of my favorite things that I would have to limit or eliminate during a pregnancy (I'm reading Expecting Better, I know some of the advice is outdated, but after putting my body through IVF I'm not risking listeria from a sandwich, you know?) So on the list is deli meat, runny eggs, soft cheeses, and wine.

I'm slightly bummed that we're ordering lunch at work today, and the place everyone wants to order from does not serve deli meat sandwiches, all of their meat is roasted in-house. I'm such a brat.

all that does is make me want wine for lunch. LOL. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? On the bright side, at least you know that when you are KU and you need to order lunch, that place will be safe?

@AshleyGemini24. Me either. We don't normally watch it (or the commercials) unless invited to someone's party. Without cable, there isn't much sporting wise that we watch, but we do at least try to keep an eye on how our college and NHL teams are doing.

@fitzfizz - I'm on the fence about drinking the occasional glass of wine during pregnancy. I typically have 1 or 2 glasses of wine with dinner every night as I wind down from the day, so I know it's hard to go from doing that to nothing at all. *TW loss mentioned*

Last time I was pregnant, my sense of smell was so heightened that just a whiff of wine made me feel like yakking. Especially white wine (which is not my favorite - I'm a red gal) smelled like musty sour feet. This was first trimester blues, and my loss was at 10 weeks, so I dunno if that would change in the 2nd or 3rd tri, but for those couple months, I couldn't stomach the thought of drinking wine.

So, I know we're hyping up for October, but there are two surprise pregnancies in the October 2020 waiting room, and they already make me want to punch a wall. So, that's my flame-free Sunday confession: I don't want to suffer twits like that in my BMB. Can we have a secret BMB just for TTGP grads, please?

@ttcbabyodo I haven't looked at the September or October waiting room threads because they tend to make my angry even though there's no way for me to be in those BMBs anyway. We keep talking about a PG for all ttgp grads but nobody has created it yet. There was one made that was for grads from 2017-2018, but we should definitely make one for all future ttgp grads
