    Ok I'll start...

I have two both food related lol

    1. Dark chocolate is far superior to milk chocolate.

    2. This may be more of a confession but I eat cereal dry. And have absolutely no desire whatsoever to put milk in it. I never have. I've always eaten cereal like this. And when people find out they look at me like I'm an alien.

I hate cereal, and milk. All forms. Can’t do it. I do unsweetened almond milk in coffee but otherwise please no.

I hate milk, except for in cereal. Vastly prefer almond or rice milk. But do like it in cereal. My husband does cereal with or without. I have food texture/general touch sense issues, so dry cereal is an awful feeling in my mouth-can't stand it-but it's the same for a lot of dry crunchy things. Crispy/crunchy bread crust or pizza crust is the same.

But my UO-I'm weird and picky about music I guess, so Pandora and Spotify are both too much trouble for me. I listen to the radio. I stream it from the computer, but it's still a local radio station.

@hanshotfirst77 Dark chocolate for life! ❤️

UO - I cannot stand digital/electronic instruments vs analog/accoustic instruments. And yes, I can tell the difference. And yes, even the super high end digital pianos with feedback in the case to mimic resonance blah blah blah. I'm hyper-sensitive to touch and kinesthetic dominant and I literally feel music as much as I hear it. Singing in choir I can feel everyone's voices in my body and it's an amazing sense of community, but the fancy instruments that never go out of tune feel dead and hollow to me. Give me a standard upright piano with some wandering pitch issues over the perfect digital any day. ❤️

Team I hate cereal.  Even as a kid, I never liked it.  And then the thought of putting milk in it somehow makes it worse, lol

I'm so surprised there are other people who don't like milk in cereal. I've literally never met another in my life. lol  But yay :)

I hate when I'm at a restaurant and they serve a salad or sandwich with raw onions on it. First-that raw onion juice is making my eyes burn, and gagging me by scent alone when inn pregnant. Then, it all touched the rest of my food, making it taste bad too.

Cooked I can handle, unless it's the major flavor or too large of a volume. My stomach doesn't handle large volumes well so I get bad painful gas and cramps. But, I'll acknowledge cooked is in fact edible and it's food, I just need to be careful with my system. Raw is not food.

Ugh, yes! And what I hate the most is when there’s raw onion just sprinkled in and you can’t remove it from your food. The WORST.
  • Options
I don’t mind raw onion but I hate tomatoes. Tomato sauce, ketchup, all fine but plain tomato, no. When I was pregnant with DS I was at a basketball game and a lady had a hot dog with ketchup all over it and it took every last ounce of my willpower not to throw up on her.

Hot dogs gross me out in general

And mayonnaise  :-P  the texture alone sceeves me out not to mention how it's made yet I can eat chicken salad if it's made with Greek yogurt

I'm a picky eater so I have a lot of unpopular food opinions lol

Tomato is disgusting. Olives should be outlawed.
  • Options
I don't know if this is unpopular or not technically but it's what's grinding my gears (today). People who put their entire insulated lunch boxes in the normal sized fridge at work should find them removed and sitting out on the counter or something when they come to get them for lunch. If it's insulated, IT'S KEEPING THE COLD OUT. It is literally counter productive to put the whole container into the fridge. Take your stuff out and stop taking up 1/3 of the shelf so only 6 or 8 people can use the fridge a day. /rant

cooked (and thus mushy) vegetables should not be a thing. crunchy freshness for lyfe!

kjack86 @hanshotfirst77 @pourmeanothermocktail, I formally challenge these assertions. Raw onion is acceptable. Cooked onion is the devil here on earth. I will meticulously pick every piece out of every meal if I can't get it or cook it without to begin with. :#

I love raw onion; DH despises it with the passion of a thousand burning suns. Our household is split on this topic.
I like tomato, but the slimy seeds are disgusting and puke-worthy so I only buy tomatoes where I can separate seed & flesh easily or that are notably meaty.
Green olives are delicious, kalamata are better, and black are hideous. Capers are an affront against all other brined foods.
Raisins are little pieces of pitiful dirt-flavored sadness. Sultanas are even worse.
What even are bread and butter pickles?
Mustard goes on hot dogs or sausages. Ketchup is unacceptable.
Pickled green beans are the best pickles, full stop.

@mariabele Them's fighting words. Watch out or I'm just going to demolish all onions ever. Totally willing to live with none as opposed to raw. That shit stings.

@kyrwyn I thought I liked you, but I might be wrong. Green olives and kalamata make me gag, but I could eat a whole can of black ones.

However, capers aren't food and any form of sweet or bread and butter pickles are devious malicious lies.

But mustard....that shit doesn't belong anywhere.

    I'm a general condiment hater.

@pourmeanothermocktail I think our olive differences make us great friend candidates. I will never ever poach yours and we can unite in our hatred of capers.

No one else has to like mustard, but I think my German heritage makes me genetically obligated to eat sausage with either Senf (mustard) or curry-ketchup and I can only do the latter about once a year, and it has to be at a Christmas market.

So far I like all the foods on this list: cereal with or without milk, olives, tomatoes, condiments, vegetables mushy or crisp, onions raw or cooked...did I miss any? Maybe I’m just not picky 😂 one of my favorite summer treats is eating cherry tomatoes right off the plant and DD at the age of 14 months also figured out how to do this 😊

so maybe my UO is that I like all these things?

I’m not a huge pork person though, unless it’s bacon. It’s too easy to overcook it and end up with jerky texture so I just don’t. Ick.

So I love fresh pineapple, but entirely loathe canned pineapple. LOATHE. They're not the same food. Also, my pizza shouldn't be sweet at all. So pineapple on pizza is just wrong. @alli392 I don't get salads either. I like lettuce, but it's not actually filling me up or fueling my body. When I'm not pregnant, I'm generally athletic, I burn a lot of calories and need to eat actual calories from actual food. Drowning it in dressing makes it gross and still isn't fueling me. Ditto with a lot of soup. I enjoy soup or salad on the side or before or even after a real meal, but neither by itself is going to fill me up really.
