Hi Everyone!
My DH and I have been TTC for 13 months. Right before Christmas I went to my OBGYN because I started bleeding every 10 days. They did an ultra sound and found 3 cysts. My OBGYN diagnosed me with PCOS and put my on Femara. She also recommended my DH have a semen analysis done which discovered low morphology (around 2%). As a result we were referred to a fertility specialist and had our consultation appointment last week. Did a bunch of bloodwork and should get those results back later this week. DH got put on a fertility supplement, but overall the specialist didn't seem overly concerned with his test results. We are going to continue with Femara and add a trigger shot for 2 more cycles with monitoring (bloodwork, ultra sounds).I thought Femara had done the trick last cycle (positive at home LH surge test), but just got the results back from my blood test and Progesterone was a 7. My doctor wanted to see 10-15 so we are going to double the dosage this coming cycle. I am sure I used some of the wrong lingo here, trying not to get too overwhelmed with everything... The holidays were really rough this year because my DH and I decided to be open with our families. While supportive, they all freaked out a little. We are the oldest on both sides of our families and lots of pressure to give them grandchildren.
