How did you do last week?

Any goals for next week?

GTKY: What was a nutrition “win” this week (i.e. meal planned/increased veggies/puked less from MS)?

  • How are you feeling this week? I feel like my MS is getting a little better or maybe I’m just managing it better. I was super busy at work this week so I’ve been beyond exhausted. Yesterday I had an 8am meeting and did a presentation from 7:30-8:30pm. I took a break in between but it was still way too much.

What are you doing to stay active? Trying to keep up with my normal exercise routine as much as possible.

How did you do last week? Actually pretty well now that I think about it. Did 2 runs, yoga, and weights. Taking tonight off and will do something tomorrow

Any goals for next week? Same as usual - 4-5 work outs.

GTKY: What was a nutrition “win” this week (i.e. meal planned/increased veggies/puked less from MS)? My diet is slowly going back to normal and I have fewer aversions. Although tonight all I could handle was buttered noodles. Hoping to go back to salads and lots of veggies soon.
  • @gomillis Glad you're feeling better and well done this week! Ugh, that is a long day...I had some of those last year when we were training colleagues in Europe first thing in the morning and Asia late in the evening. Sooo rough, and you're right, breaks only help so much.

How are you feeling this week?
Very tired and hard to motivate.

What are you doing to stay active?
Workout videos on youtube. I was supposed to go to a couple yoga classes but didn't make it due to being so tired. I'm trying to go easy on myself because this was how it was with my first pregnancy. Once I got 13-14 weeks I started working out daily again because I felt so much better.

How did you do last week?
    Kinda answered above

    Any goals for next week?
Do more strength based training and also incorporate some more yoga/stretching in even if it's at home.

I had lots of beans and lentils. I need to scale back in the prepackaged foods though because I feel like I'm getting way too much sodium! Also the food aversions have kicked up

  • How are you feeling this week? This week started off rough but I have not puked in the last 2 days (yay)!

What are you doing to stay active? Not sure how I have been able to keep up with it, but I have been going to Bootcamp per my usual schedule M-Saturday. The 5am class has been getting rough though.

How did you do last week? I made it all 6 days. Barely.

Any goals for next week? For next week and going forward, learning to give myself some grace. If I am exhausted, TAKE THE DAY OFF. I need to remind myself that I am growing another human being and taking a day (or two) off in a week is not going to undo a years worth of hard work.

GTKY: What was a nutrition “win” this week (i.e. meal planned/increased veggies/puked less from MS)? I managed to keep my protein shakes down this week. I have been sticking to vanilla protein powder, unsweetened almond milk and LOTS of blueberries. Chocolate protein powder and chocolate in general makes me want to gag which is odd considering I was a choco-holic prior to getting pregnant.
  • @Mommy2Boys87 it’s amazing that you’re keeping up with the boot camps! And it’s great that you’re trying to give yourself more grace and forgiveness.
  • @emiliadkay Great job on the salads! And I get that. I love fancy salads but I end up wasting so much money when I buy them for home. I never eat it fast enough before it all goes to waste.  And sorry for the spotting, that had to be scary. Hope it never comes back!

@gomillis glad your MS seems to be improving. That long day sounds brutal but I’m glad you survived. I’m still waiting for veggies not to repulse me. Hope it happens for us both soon!

@samsonator This is the first time I’ve kept up working out in the first trimester. My two previous pregnancies I took a break until second trimester. The exhaustion Is real. You gotta listen to your body. A lot goes undone around here lately because my energy is zapped from my workouts.

@mommy2boys87 You seriously amaze me with your determination. You’re one strong momma. Hope your puke-less streak continues!

  • How are you feeling this week? Good! Tired but can't complain, as I've had no real negative symptoms.

What are you doing to stay active? Spinning classes two to four times a week, home yoga & barre videos when I can... & do long walks through Target count as exercise?

How did you do last week? I was traveling (for fun), so I didn't work out as much as I could've, but I did get in a couple of spin classes before I left.

Any goals for next week? I'll be traveling again (for work this time), & I always get in a lot of steps when I'm at my New York office. I'm also staying in a hotel that has a decent fitness center & one of those cool Mirror workout systems, so I should be able to keep moving while I'm away.

GTKY: What was a nutrition “win” this week (i.e. meal planned/increased veggies/puked less from MS)? While in Florida with a friend, I didn't exercise much, though I did eat pretty well (fresh fruit juices, oatmeal & granola, Brussels sprouts, salads), & I got a lot of sleep (in an awesome, comfy, king-sized bed!)
