How are you feeling? I think i just hit my stride this weekend. I have energy. I feel strong. I feel like myself! I actually did a Pilates video yesterday which made me feel even better. Hopefully this is the beginning of that honeymoon period that my Dr. mentioned.

GTKY: Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion: Brooches. I think they are so pretty. I have four that i rotate on my dress coat for each season.

Funny story to hopefully make you chuckle on this Monday: We have close friends that have 3 boys between 3 and 8. We told them we were going to have a baby and asked them if they thought we should have a boy or a girl. After discussion they decided on a girl but thought we should name it Bob Jr. (they call my husband Bob) either way. I really hope this is not the beginning of a horrible nickname! (And Bobbie Jo is NOT on the table

)

How are you feeling? Tired. Still getting woken up at 4am every morning with a swift kick near my bladder. Thanks, little dude.

Raves/Rants: I had a big energy burst this weekend, so I got some nesting done. His wardrobe is furnished through the summer, I got the changing table cleared off and organized, and space is cleared in my room for the crib.

GTKY: Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Satin nightgowns with matching furry-edged robes so I can pretend to be a shocked heiress accused of my husband's murder...as I pack school lunches and feed the dog before dawn.

Upcoming appointments: Scan and doc on the 22, midwife home visit on the 24.

How are you feeling? Just a lot of pain related to busted up pelvis, tired of peeing so much.

Raves/Rants: Rant-my kids are pushing me past all my limits this week. Skipping naps, constant fights and tantrums, at least one per meal...and I can't manage to eat during a tantrum. It's been really really hard, and my husband has been out of town for than home since school resumed. Rave-he did clear the sidewalk all the way to the bus stop of the snow that fell just before he left, so that's at least something.

Questions: Idk. How to survive a 3 year old and 1 year old? How to survive a 4 year old and 1 year old and newborn that all scream for several hours per day?

GTKY: Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Pants that are slightly lower rise-the high rise trend doesn't fit my body-they pinch when I sit and interfere with my bra line (short torso!). Also-rise style jeans of the late 90s. I miss those. I'm super weird.

Thanks for the story

! It reminded me of a similar situation we are having. We are expecting a girl and there's a very fun song MH really loves by The Milk Carton Kids due to which he (hopefully only jokingly) keeps bringing up the name Charlie. I won't have it, as we are from Romania and it would be the weirdest name for a daughter here. It'd make her life really hard, as cool as it may be and sound. In case you want to listen to it:

How are you feeling? Physically, good. Emotionally I'm a mess, but only about once a week

. Yesterday was that day and I cried my eyes out that MH couldn't make it to a babywearing course because of his job... I hate that I can't connect my brain to my emotions anymore! It's so weird for me...

Raves/Rants: Loving the movement of our little... Charlie :P! She's been very active the last 2 days

The flared jeans from the 70s. We do have some bootcut jeans here, but I loved the flared ones where they started widening even above the knee.

How are you feeling? Physically great. Emotionally meh. I was so sure I would have two girls. I have always dreamed of my daughter having a sister just like me and I'm struggling with the news that we are having a boy! I cant seem to get passed it. Every outfit my daughter wears makes me sad that I cant save it. I hate that I feel disappointed, I feel so incredibly guilty but just cant seem to get passed it. Husband doesnt understand at all so I cant talk to him, and I feel guilty for even typing it. I cant find a single boy name I love. Everyone says I will fall in love when hes here, and i know i will but he will never be a sister

and I'm definatly done so not trying for a 3rd. It's like I'm mourning the idea of my girls

GTKY: I wish burning bras was still cool because I hate mine with ferocity! All the time but ESPECIALLY right now!
