All too often I get asked in the AM at work "is (coworker) going to be in today".

Ugh, yes, the answer is always yes he just comes in at 9am instead of 8am 🙄

TWs abound today - beware.

MH's friend whose wife just had twins showed up at the park this weekend. I avoided him a lot because newborn twins are just hard for me right now. I can't have a baby without needles, pain, surgery, but his wife can lie to the dr, get clomid, and have twins? Ok, cool. He had the nerve to text MH afterward that he thinks I don't like him anymore. MH's response was gold: "Babies are hard for MVT right now. Plus you did ask her in front of everyone if she would babysit for you "for practice" and we're going through IVF right now, so that wasn't cool." He responded with "Oh, wow, I just didn't think. I really am just looking for babysitters." Middle fingers everywhere today!!!!

@mvt2003 what the actual hell???!!! Gaaaaaaaaaah people are so selfish it drives me crazy!

My Monday BF is for all the people I work with that can't seem to remember that they put a stupid yogurt in the fridge 6 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!!!! I am tired of the horrible smell that comes from that small fridge, so I threw everything out that was expired or looked expired. I don't care! I literally tossed 20 yogurts out, and half of them expired back in March or April... come on people!!

@kpearse99 Yep, this is from the guy who has no filter and no common sense whatsoever. I expected something, which is partially why I kept my distance. It came for me anyway though, I guess.

Wow! I’m so sorry that guy said that to you. Can I slap him across the face? What the hell is wrong people?? His response to YH was something else. He seems very selfish and all about himself. ✋ High five to YH for his answer to his friend. Great man right there.

@mindyb2019 Thank you, friend. He is very self-centered, and I've long known this about him. It's not the first crappy thing he's done, not even the second crappy fertility-related thing he's done (they gave us an in-person pregnancy announcement, he told MH over a year ago "don't worry, it'll happen for you, just keep trying," and then when I made an excuse up to not go to the baby shower, he told MH that he didn't believe I was busy.)

They live in our neighborhood, but they're supposedly buying a new house with an in-law in another town and to that I say:

@mvt2003 oh friend, I’m so sorry! That guy needs to be punched in the you-know-where! There is no excuse for his comments & actions...hopefully they do move, so you have to interact with him at least a little less!

@kpearse99 ugh, that’s so gross! We have that happen at my work too...it’s like, why can’t grown adults have some decency and throw away their stuff when it gets old? Do they do that at home too?!

@kpearse99 I never understand why people think it’s acceptable to treat the work fridge like their home fridge. If your okay with your house smelling every time you open the fridge that’s your business but please don’t make the office stink!!

My Monday BF is that it’s RAINING and it’s supposed to rain again tomorrow which means two days of my sweet preschoolers and I being stuck inside my classroom! Rain rain, go away.

@emeraldduchess when I was a manager at a theme park my good stapler would ALWAYS go missing!! It drove me crazy!! Funny story - one day someone took it all the way down to one of the restaurants (I know because I went on a hunt for it and found it at the other end of the park!) I marched down to pick it up and then when I came back up Mark Wahlberg was in the backstage area with his family! So I got to meet him....all while clinging on to my favorite stapler

@mvt2003 I cannot believe people are like that. My SIL is very similar. Very self centred and everything revolves around her baby and is constantly making super offensive comments when like everyone knows I have PCOS ... The way I have dealt with is by saying PEACE OUT whenever she does these things and I literally remove myself from the situation because if I don’t I may say something I will regret lol

Nothing irritates me more than spending 10+ minutes in the check out line at the grocery store when there were only 2 people in front of you. The one other open lane probably went through 10 people before I finally got my purchase ring up.

And THEN. I come home and find that "most of the snow has melted on the driveway" is a complete lie. Like, portions of the sidewalk to the front door and one other spot are clear of snow and that's it. DH calls it a dusting 🙄. I'm so irritated because there's still plenty of snow that could be shoveled off the driveway and I shoveled 4-6" of snow across the entire driveway by myself yesterday.

@inthewoods23 omg that brings out the rage in me too. The other day I was at Walgreens and literally had ONE thing and I stood in line behind one person for like 10 minutes, they had a ton of coupons and half of them didn’t work and they kept arguing with the poor cashier...uuuuggh! I wanted to throw my bottle of ibuprofen at them 😂

@kitkatz1990 I used to work at Walgreens during my college years and we definitely had one lady that was an extreme couponer with her binder of coupons lol

I really hate those transactions that take forever, both being the cashier and someone waiting in line behind that.

Also wtf with SLOW ASS BAGGERS at grocery stores. Man some days you're just like helloooo the cashier is already half done ringing up the person behind me, hurry up!

I was also a cashier in college (I worked at Michaels) and I no longer have the patience!! People are super crazy, especially over the dang coupons. I can handle my preschoolers having tantrums, I can’t deal with grown-ups having tantrums lol!
