Guys nobody prepared me for all the weird things kids say. I was an only child and didn't grow up with cousins or anything, and my 5 year old is teaching me more about kids than I ever knew before. Today she was sitting on her little desk chair we have for her in the living room and she rips the loudest fart and looks me dead in the eyes, "My chair collects the farts so you don't have to."

I don't even know what that means. What is that?

@RedBaramid LOL that’s amazing! My almost 3 year old has been saying bizarre and hilarious things to me lately too. Some examples:
”Have you ever heard of the darkness?”

“This cookie has poison in it”
”I don’t ride my scooter for fun. I ride it for danger.”
He cracks me up (although some of the comments could be from the beginning of a horror movie lol)

I used to think kids overheard things or were taught when they said something really off the wall and weird. Now that I have a kid I know they just come up with that crap on their own 😅
