    Old Navy has their Rockstar jeans and jeggings on sale. I got myself a pair and then DH got me two for Christmas. I’ve been hearing about how they work magic and they do life a nice amount. I also appreciate the elastic waistband on the jeggings!

    @NYTino24 glad it wasn't too bad. I was expecting a few via Facebook but there weren't any.

    I think a few family members were expecting an announcement from us at Christmas. So I made a point of drinking wine at both family gatherings. What sucks is I can see visibly see the disappointment on my MIL's face. I know she's sad for us rather than herself, but I can't help but feel like I am letting her down.

    @emeraldduchess I'm sorry you felt that additional pressure. TTC can make us sad enough without the added sadness of our family members. I felt the same way on Christmas. With every drink my MIL offered me I could hear the hope in her voice. "Do you want a glass of wine? OR MAYBE JUST A SODA?" "Can I get you a cup of coffee? I HAVE DECAF." Such a bummer.

    @ssbl and @emeraldduchess this was totally my mom all Christmas! My parents actually know that we've been struggling, but don't seem to think our losses are that big a deal and are still expecting an announcement every time we talk. 

    I'm particularly annoyed with my mom since she knows everything we've been going through. She sat me down and told me I need to tell my sister (who I have a very difficult relationship with) about my recent losses because it's too difficult/awkward to keep it from her, plus she can't keep making excuses for why I'm not being as joyous/festive. Ummm, no.

    Additionally, I talked to my mom about all the anxiety issues that TTCAL has brought up in me. I feel a lot of guilt that I'm doing something that could be contributing to recurrent losses. I've been googling every single thing I eat/drink, and just had a panic attack that herbal tea (which I sub for coffee since I'm worried about caffeine and MC risk) is why I've been having CPs. I had a horrific cold over Christmas and refused to take anything because of hypothetical risks to fertility, delayed ovulation, etc. But then my mom is offering DH random herbal remedies for his cold, or making jokes about using recreational marijuana (which is legal where my folks live), or inviting him to use the sauna...

    @notagoodpatient No one will ever fully understand unless they go through it. Try to look on the bright side that she wants to help and be supportive, but also set some boundaries that she can listen, but not offer suggestions. I do find that being open about what I’m going through it much easier than having to hide it.

    I just did a quick Goolge search to find that the easy@home hpt tests aren't very accurate... Cool.

    @legendairymomma inaccurate because of false positives or false negatives? I've been using that brand because I bought the pack of OPKs that comes with HPTs.

    I did a google but I just got a bunch of places to buy them

    @notagoodpatient I saw a bunch of women on various forums and Amazon reviews say they have gotten false negatives on them. Like a few show pics of them side by side with other brands and the easy@home is stark white while others are positive. Some were saying that they were really good until 2017 then the packaging changed colors and they stopped detecting pregnancy.

    @krystrist2014 there's just something about a slightly rugged looking guy hehe.

    Idk what it is, but when DH rolls his sleeves up to his elbows, whether that be just a shirt or with a hoodie, I find it freaking hot. Like I just gush "omg you look sooo good". There's just something about that look, I can't really explain how it makes me feel. That's the ruggedness I like on him lol.

    ETA: also, John Krasinski was cute in The Office and converted into a hunk when he moved to action roles. Love a guy that gets better with age. DH also has some grays in his beard and I just love it so much. Sorry, can't help swooning over my own man right now 😆
