Seemed like there were many who mentioned liking to bake, cook, craft, knit, etc. in their intros. Thought we could test out a monthly thread and show us your latest creation! It's good time with all the holiday treats and crafts.

I crochet. I'm doing a homemade christmas this year, so I'm still working on things. Here is a baby blanket I made for my cousin who just had her baby earlier this month.
Oh yay! I'm a sewer. I make clothes for our whole family (not everything, just some things). I've made myself three tops and one dress, including one maternity top I'm excited to wear again! I've made several dresses for my daughters and one shirt for my husband in addition to mending his clothes.
Recently, I just finished making my youngest's Christmas stocking yesterday, and I made her a stuffed animal to go in it. I made a stuffed animal for her older sister for her first Christmas, so I've decided it will be a tradition!
ETA: I also bake. I made Christmas cookies and a ton of candy (fudge, etc). Planning to get the stuff for peppermint bark today. Some of it will be given away as Christmas gifts to family and friends.
@coldlife You are inspiring! I am recently getting j to sewing. I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas. I have done little hand sewing projects but am excited to make some really exciting things!
@ziggymama06, eh, I probably won't. Sorry! I'm pretty leery about my internet privacy and don't want to be identified on here.
@riatortillaxo, cool! I'm mostly self-taught myself. I learned the basics of straight-seam quilting as a teen, but everything else - using materials other than quilting cottons, darts, pleats, closures, etc. - was all self taught. Start simple and buy a seam ripper!
