I'm single, so there's no significant other for me to tell. But as soon as I found out, I left work early and drove to my mom's house, then my best friend's house, so I could tell them the good news in person!
I gave them each a small gift bag (see picture in spoiler below) with a handwritten card that said "It's a girl," thanking them for their prayers and support, along with a pink, rose-scented candle, a pair of pink baby socks, and a pink pacifier. My mom can use them on my baby, and my best friend can use them on her baby (who is 3 weeks old).
For the rest of my friends and family, I am stuck. I thought about mailing them cards, similar to what I gave my mom and best friend, thanking them for their support and announcing the news. Or I could make calls. Of course it would be fun to actually hear their reactions over the phone. Still deciding, though. Whatever I do, I want to do it as soon as possible. I don't want to wait until I see them in person on Christmas!
As for family, we don’t plan on telling them for quite a while. Neither one of us are too keen on telling his side, and my side tends to smother, and I’m not big on being smothered, even though I love them dearly. I’m sure we will announce sometime into the second tri.
We only have one set of grandparents, my parents, and I think we’re going to tell them at Christmas but haven’t completely figured out how. I’ll probably put a big brother shirt on my son but I want to do something fun. I love the egg idea @maddilynnmorris!
I’m with you! I have a 4 for 4 unromantic streak. Every time I’ve just either called him right away and said it or told him face to face if he was home. There’s no way I’d be able to hang onto a secret like this long enough to have a cute way to tell him!

So far we have told absolutely no one. I've debating telling our parents at Christmas but I'll only be 7 weeks, and that feels early to me. I know once my mom knows she will tell EVERYONE, and I'm not ready for my extended family/her social circle to know yet. Which is too bad, because I have such a great idea for sharing the news at Christmas!
I'm really close with my SIL and after I told my DH he immediately asked if I had told her first.
We are taking Santa photos with our DS to send out as Christmas cards so I was thinking of for our immediate family writing on the back something like "Merry Christmas - From the 4 of us". We will tell a select few early as both our families supported us during our loss. My MIL is notoriously bad at keeping pregnancy secrets so she might not be told until later, but we will each tell our siblings and my parents around Christmas if not before.
We will tell my family and a few other friends over the holidays. I was already planning to get my parents a digital photo frame, so we will add a series of photos in there to announce. Everyone else we will just tell verbally.
Not sure when DH will tell his family since we won't see them in person until a month after we tell my parents. I think our nanny already knows, but she hasn't said a word.
I want to make it to at least 12 weeks before telling coworkers and everyone else. I manage a pretty large team, so I will tell them at our weekly team meeting after I tell my bosses and hr and let them tell the rest of the office. Last pregnancy I was able to hide very easily, but I don't think that will be the case this time.

We've told our parents over the phone. Probably most family over Christmas, when we will see some of them. Then others just over the phone.
I told my dad over the phone. A few close friends know. HR knows at work because I’m a department head and need to start planning in advance. Other than that... my mom comes out this week to visit for my sons birthday on Saturday so I will probably tell her then.
We have been trying for a few months. I walked in crying after poas while he was playong a game. He knew I had bought 2 tests tonight. After asking me why I was crying which made me cry more he guessed "are you pregnant".
This is my 5th pregnancy. 4th with my husband. I don't think I have ever announced it to him in a cute way.

As for family I feel Christmas is a bit too soon to tell but I'm going to be staying at my parents house for about 4 days over Christmas. So I think we'll have to tell them as I don't think days of me looking green and passing on all the Christmas boose, soft cheese and pate will go unnoticed.
We announced on social media and to our family with this photo.
I had hopes of keeping things under wraps from the family, but so far every symptom in my book is following my first pregnancy. Besides the obvious declining of booze that will occur that I could probably shake off as part of my healthier lifestyle, my mother-in-law has very real first hand experience with what my morning sickness looks like and we're right on target to hit that phase just before they arrive for the holidays. They will be here the 23rd through just after the New Year, if I manage to keep it concealed (though we are gonna try!) I will be impressed and proud. Otherwise I feel like Christmas, and even New Years is just too early, I wanna wait until at least Valentines Day (I will be out of first tri by then) but I kind of want to wait until my Husband's Birthday in early March to go public with it. So far I've told my two closest friends, the ladies who I would look to support from if something were to go wrong. No ideas on announcements yet, but we are uber nerds so probably maybe something D&D themed?
I am going to try to at least wait until after my first appointment. With my last pregnancy, my MIL found out by pulling up next to us as I was throwing up out the car window (following a week ot two of not showing up places because I "wasn't feeling well").
We are telling our parents and siblings this weekend and I ordered ornaments for them. I'll post a pic once they come in

We are going to tell family next week even though it's early, we just can't keep it a secret from immediate family for much longer. Not sure how we will tell them yet...
As for everyone outside of our immediate family, we will just tell people as we see them in the Spring. We aren't planning to do a big announcement on social media or anything
I have NO idea how or when we’ll announce, but I love reading about everyone else’s plans/ideas! So many cute ones!

No clue how I'm going to tell my dad and his wife and inlaws.
Out of my family my brother has 4 kids and this will be my 3rd. Out of my husbands his brother has 3 so everythings kind of already been done by everyone.
