Hello! I haven't gotten there yet but I want to know what to expect with foot swelling/growing. Where are my shoes going to be too tight/uncomfortable? Are there any shoes you recommend and why? (I'm wondering with shoes rather than sandals)
**lurking** When I was about 20w with my DD, I invested in a pair of slip on sketchers with memory foam. Best things ever!! Not only did I not have to try to tie my shoes but they allowed for the swelling in my feet as I got further along. After I gave birth and things went back to normal I tried to wear them and they were clearly too stretched to fit well anymore. But totally worth the $40 I paid for them. I got them in black and was even able to wear them to work without looking like I was in sneakers!
@starlalovesshoes It's different for everyone. I've had the most success just wearing sneakers with the laces loose. They are too tight all over. By the time your feet are swollen honestly you no longer care if you look good. It's just about survival.
@starlalovesshoes I just delivered earlier this week. I delivered via emergency c-section (totally unexpectedly). Be aware if you have fluids during delivery, or a c section, your feet swell up WORSE after you have the baby! YIKES!
