How are you feeling? Good overall, sleeping sucks mostly because I miss belly sleeping and our mattress sucks

Raves: H and I bought a new mattress this weekend and we are upgrading to a king sizes bed! Hope this helps me sleep better too! Also, H emptied his office this weekend so we can make it into the baby’s room

GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? One time I tripped and fell up the stairs and bruised my arm pretty good. 🤷🏼♀️

Baby is the size of a(n): broccoli? or a motorcycle helmet? these two things seem very different.
Upcoming appointments: next week I have therapy, chiropractor and midwife visits.
How are you feeling? still feeling good. had some anxiety but very limited. my doula has suggested I take some magnesium. I am putting off things that should not get put off and consider that a side effect for the anxiety which isn't great.
Raves/Rants:
Rave - DH went down to Scranton, PA yesterday for a work thing and Bella and I had a great mom/daughter night and she was decently cooperative this morning. I even remembered to put out the trash! Luckily my neighbor told me that I put the trash cans in backwards or it would have not been taken away.
Rant - I got nothing.
Questions:
GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? hmmm I don't get injured a lot. Maybe I broke a wine glass and weeks later stepped into a broken piece that had gone under the cabinets and bled a lot?

@ibabyloveb87 - ouch! we had a case where a guy did that and broke his nose and sued the building owner. I would have been so embarrassed I would have just left quickly myself

How are you feeling? Good! Nesting hardcore - I have a family baby shower out of town this weekend in Chicago and everything has been getting shipped to my house. Last night I put together a stroller system, high chair and bouncer all by myself and felt like I was on top of the world.
Raves/Rants: I'm so pumped to see a bunch of my family and I'm counting down to the week of Christmas when I have the whole week off to relax and veg on the sofa!

GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? I did pole vaulting in HS which was idiotic and I have a hairline stress fracture on my L2 because of a really bad fall... it's never really bothered my unless I do some heavy lifting or become pregnant and this child starts kicking up a storm
@jvk2012 - I agree on stomach sleeping... I cannot WAIT until I can sleep on my stomach again! Jealous of the new bed, hope it helps!!

How are you feeling? Mostly tired and my hands hurt all of the time.
Raves/Rants: I’m a teacher and only have 8 school days left until winter break.

GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? Back in 2009, I had a boxer puppy. I had a baby gate up in my apartment. Instead of opening it, I picked the dog up, stepped over the gate, caught my foot and fell. I end up breaking my elbow.
But can we all just agree that porch pirates are literally the Grinch?!

Upcoming appointments: had my 3 hour glucose today. Next OB is sometime next week.
How are you feeling? Lots of lower back and pelvic pain. Also, other bloodwork from the 1 hr glucose test last week shows I've got an iron deficiency. Still have to figure out an appropriate supplement and find a strategy for getting more iron in my diet.
Raves/Rants:
Rant: Final paper for my first Master's course is due Sunday night. Home stretch!!! Lots of stress and tears at work the last few weeks.
Rave: had my first baby shower on Sunday, and I'm touched at how loved this little boy is already!
Questions: none.
GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? Does sleeping funny and not being able to move your head for a few days count?

How are you feeling? Starting to get hip pain unfortunately but otherwise still feeling good!
Raves/Rants: had my first shower last weekend and it was so well done - the invite had a hot air balloon on it and my friends recreated it in real life with a basket and balloons (pic below). We got some great stuff and felt so loved

GTKY: What’s the dumbest way you've been injured? A few Christmases ago, my grandma got a walker with a little seat on it and my cousins and I were playing on it (real smart. also they were 4 & 5 and I was 30 LOL) and I feel off the seat straight back onto my tailbone, elbow, and head on a hard ceramic floor. I ended up in the ER on Christmas Eve and luckily only a bruised tailbone. 👍🏻
