Re: Product Spotlight - Toys

  • Honestly, babies don't need much when they're little.
A tummy time pillow is nice to practice tummy time.
Once they start sitting up, the fisher price sit me up seat is nice.
Once they start pulling up the VTech sit to stand learning walker is nice.
We had a Baby Einstein activity jumper and that thing was awesome. DS loved it and it would give me time to do stuff while baby was entertained.
Otherwise, just basic stuff like stacking cups, stacking rings, cloth books, etc are nice.

  • We have way too many baby toys because family members keep sending them to us. I really just used the playmat at first. Once he got bigger, he played with a few of the toys, but mostly books.  I did love the Baby Einstein activity jumper. We also had a little rocker/bouncer that kept him contained and entertained.

  • Toys will overtake no matter what 😂

but, I definitely recommend a kick and play piano mat (best play mat ever), a bouncer, sit me up floor seat and something like a jumperoo.

  • I second @coaster102516 The F&P Kick N Play Piano was by far our favorite toy/ play mat. DD also loved the Jumperoo (we have a fish themed one) and Baby Einstein piano/activity table. We also like basic toys like textured balls, stacking rings and teethers. Melissa and Doug is my favorite brand for toys in general, loved a lot of the Baby Einstein stuff for when she was an infant.
