  • @ashaislurking I was super excited to be gifted these because Pinecone was the name of our hedgehog so it was even more special. I think the only item we actually bought ourselves was the light up guy in our foyer. I'm glad I have family that finds these cool wintery hedgehogs even though hedgehogs like the opposite of cold 😆

  • I just called my clinic to cancel my bloodwork and ultrasound this morning because of the weather and they were not happy with me. 😳 Uh, sorry? If my street hasn't been plowed yet, there's not much I can do.
  • @emeraldduchess Ugh sorry! I feel like this storm has the worst timing ever! As a side note, I'm starting to get anxious about doing IVF during the winter for this reason. I hate loathe and despise driving in snow, even though I'm a native New Englander.

  • @inthewoods23 This made me so sad too. Lil Bub was amazing. RIP.

@emeraldduchess That has always been one of my biggest fears with doing a cycle at this time of year. But WTH are you supposed to do? Not worth risking your life over. Hopefully you can get in later or tomorrow?
  • @mvt2003 it's too darn early for this kind of storm!! Crossing my fingers that this won't be a horrible winter. I hate driving in the snow, too.

@nitnat007 thankfully they were able to reschedule me for tomorrow morning before school. I think most of their patients cancelled this morning because of the roads and so many schools are closed.

@inthewoods23 every time I see any kind of hedgehog decor, I think of you! They're probably so trendy for winter and Christmas because they look so darn cute in hats and scarves. 🤣
  • @emeraldduchess no kidding! 😆 I tried looking for a small santa hat to put on him for our holiday card last year! Couldn't find one in time, but supposedly Petco carries them for small animals like ferrets and guinea pigs.

@mvt2003 I do see the update to the community page and do not like it!  Why would I want to see the latest posts from boards that I'm not a part of?!  Also the TTGP latest posts aren't accurate...  Could be why TB has been off lately.

Although they are still adding the extra letters after my tags on desktop...

  • @mvt2003 my MIL has had this happen to her at least twice. Seems like they sometimes put the shipping labels on the wrong products. One time they got a roll of wallpaper with a geometric pattern on it instead of an umbrella for me. My gift at Christmas was the wallpaper and I liked the pattern so much (it's just white and gray) I kept it lol. Eventually they were finally able to gift me the umbrella lol.

Another time they got delivered I think one of those Casper mattresses or something. It came rolled up. They told her to keep that too! I think it's sitting in their basement unused.

  • @mvt2003 going through the steps it looks like I can either request a replacement which puts a new order in at no cost with 30 days to return the wrong item (if I don't I'd be charged twice). Or I can just say refund my account. Which sounds like I'd just keep the item and once I get the credit I'll reorder the cage I ACTUALLY need lol.

  • @emeraldduchess I need to get ready for funny Friday too. This week has been so crazy I completely forgot about it. Definitely looking up the Folgers commercial now!

  • @ashaislurking that commercial wins the holidays!
  • Wednesday - gas leak on my road and my house was in the middle of the road block, luckily I had gas to make dinner
Thursday - church fire and two accidents on my route, late for work
Friday - water main break and I had to get in between the road block

My students are also driving me nuts with immaturity. One kid who has admitted to climbing the bathroom stalls “because it’s fun” and not doing work because he “doesn’t want to” is sneaking out to the bathroom without signing out because he knows I’m checking how long he’s gone... but he did sign out at 3:30 pm and back in at 9 am. He’s testing my patience for sure!!!!

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @NYTino24 wow...you've had enough stress this week to last for a long time. So many hugs! Definitely get your frustration with your students. I have a very immature group too. Add that to the holiday craziness, it's a wonder we're still standing.
