August 2020 Birth Month Club Waiting Room

Greetings everyone!

This is the unofficial waiting room for those of us due in August 2020, until the Bump admins open up the official August 2020 Birth Month Club (also affectionately referred to as a Birth Month Board or BMB)! I believe the official BMB should be open in about a week, around December 5th. (If you're reading this after that date, click on "Community" to see if the August 2020 board has already been created, before posting here. )

So, who else is due in August 2020?

Introduce yourself, and tell us your due date, as well as a hobby or something you want us to know about you!

Once the official board opens up I'll do a more in-depth intro. But for now I'll just say my name is Pamela, and I'm a single, over-35, IVF, first-time momma! I got my fist positive beta on November 22nd, and my due date is August 1st. My new hobby is watching YouTube videos, especially ones about preparing for a baby!

I can't wait to get to know all of you! I'm praying for safe, healthy pregnancies for everyone!

Hi, I’m duck_duck_goose. I am due the fifth of August, but I don’t know how long that due date will stick. My other two were born at the end of the month and I am having a hard time believing that this one is at the beginning. I won’t believe it until I talk to my doctor. This will be our third meatball, assuming everything is on track. My dogs are my hobbies. I am super into dogs. 😅 I would love to get my toes into the dog world, but Between being a mom of 2 already, working full time, and going to school full time, showing dogs is on the back burner for now.

Hello ladies! I believe my due date will be August 2 with our second baby and we are so stinking excited!! I won’t have my first appointment until January 2, thanks holidays. We have a three year old, two dogs, and a cat. I work full time as a budget analyst.
I had a false positive last month, which I never thought it would happen to me. This time we bought two test, from two different store, and two different kinds. I still have one test of each for total confirmation, but I think that three pregnancy test means you truly are pregnant. 😊 I can’t wait for the bmb to open up so we can get this party started!

Hi ladies! Looks like I’ll be due around August 7th with baby number two, got my BFP on Thanksgiving. It’s weird thinking of a baby at the beginning of the month since my first was due at the end of February and ended up being a March baby (I was the very last one from my February bump group). My guy is just over 2.5 now. I definitely don’t have as many hobbies as I used to but I love to bake, especially cupcakes, hence the name!

I'm due on Aug. 1st. I have two children, ages 2.5 and 9 months. We always planned to have more children, but we weren't planning to start trying for another six months at least. Then, my period was late

Definitely feeling a bit overwhelmed over here! Children almost 21 months apart (planned) and now 17 months. I'm already feeling the morning sickness and tiredness, fortunately no puking yet.

Hi ! I’m a 39 year old (40 in February) first time mom from Toronto. Our due date is August 2,2020. We had miscarriage March 2019 and thought this would never happen ! Super excited but super worried about having another miscarriage. I can’t help it. I feel really sick to my stomach all the time and have headaches so far. Hopefully everything goes well 🤞🏻

Hey everyone! I have a 4 year old and just received a BFP on Thanksgiving. EDD is August 10, 2020. I hope the bean can hang on until August 17th (my birthday). Either way it'll be the best birthday gift ever. I don't have as many hobbies as I used to, but they are cooking and organizing our home.

Hi all, HappyFeet here. This place was home 5+ years ago as we TTC our first and until she was born. Left TB for a few years but excited to be back. We have two DD now, both born in August with baby 3 on the way. This LOs EDD is 8/3, which happens to be my oldest daughters 6th birthday (we seem to have an unintentional ‘magic month’). I’m a marketing exec and work a lot, outside of work my hobbies are honestly just quality time with my kids. If I have a few hours to myself (ha never) I love to read and enjoy cooking. Excited to be on this journey with you all and to be back here!
