For me I'm just thankful we've been able to afford all this treatment without having to pause due to finances. Also thankful to have DH in my life.
Nothing new with me besides getting my meds delivered today. Start that all up again next week. I bet December is just going to FLLLLLY. And before I know it, it will be biopsy time!

DH and yarn. It sounds silly, but knitting has really helped to give me something else to focus on besides IVF. DH has been a rock as always. I hope we have good news tomorrow. He will make an excellent Batdad.
Beta is tomorrow. Not much else to say except I really need to get moving on my Christmas knitting. It doesn't take too long once I start, but I actually need to start
AFM: just waiting for AF (probably still two weeks) so I can start the next cycle but enjoying a short vacation with my hubby. Even drinking alcohol & coffee, which is nice after so many months without.
I’m still lurking you guys and hoping for good news for @meri-mac today! Hope the rest of you are doing well!!!
Also @knockupthestock:
@inthewoods23 FX hard for you too. No delays and a quick fly through December for you.
@meri-mac good luck with your beta today! FX for you. You should share some pics of your knitting after you're done! I'd love to learn to knit.
@2dogsmom good for you having a nice break! Vacationing somewhere fun?
AFM trucking along on the IVF. CD11 today. The med protocol I'm on I think goes a bit longer so I'm not even sure what to expect for timing for ER. Just trying not to think too hard on it or stress. So far 6 growing and 19 antral follies. Estrogen is a bit low but we will see what happens this week.
QOTW: by far my biggest blessing is my hubby. He's my rock. Had to be said. 2nd to that, maybe my dog. She's been giving me a reason to keep my energy up lately. I get home from work and force myself to go on a big long walk and I feel so much more energized when I get back.

I had asked if the nurse could talk to the doctor and do a mini check in with me tomorrow on what the doctor thinks thus far. So I'm really hoping for some concrete feedback and not purely wishywashy "wait and see".
My med protocol was Letrozole CD4-8, Gonal-F starting CD4 at 300IU and lowering once there was some solid growth. Reduced Gonal-F to 262.5 and started Cetrotide on CD9. Continuing and potentially lowering Gonal-F further as things progress. Trigger will be Lupron. We started CD4 bc they had too many IVF starts around the same time so they staggered some of us to CD4 start.
@inthewoods23 glad you're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! FX for you as well that everything goes well and you'll be looking at a FET in January!
@meri-mac how'd your beta go? been thinking about you!!!
@b_1029 thank you!! i hope everything goes well for you and that i'll see you on some other boards!
@hithertorue sorry to hear about your estrogen being low

And yes, we are somewhere fun right now — staying right on the edge of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Today we head into the swamp! We booked this trip in September when we had our failed IUI cycle — I told my hubby I needed something to focus on besides all the fertility stuff, so trip planning has been helping me. Short trip — just 4 days, we fly back to CA tomorrow to spend thanksgiving with his family, but still fun. We both love to travel (we spent our honeymoon in Africa) so any little trip to somewhere we have never been is a real treat!
@2dogsmom so fun!! Frog legs? Gumbo? Jambalaya? I can't think of anything else bayou related! Hehehe Hope it was a great trip! Certainly sounds like it.
Wishing all our American ladies a Happy Thanksgiving! Safe travels if you're flying/driving. And good luck dealing with the extended famjam. Haha.
AFM e2 jumped big time today so we are back on track. Tomorrow is most likely going to be last day of stims and trigger for saturday retrieval but the dr wanted to see and confirm. So happy for a win at last. Now to pray for good eggs and embryos.

@inthewoods23 : you are right about December. It is going to fly. Pamper yourself and relax for Jan 2020. FX for you.
@hithertorue : I am so glad things are looking up. Hope things progress positively.
AFM: my ultrasound was on 22nd Nov, CD11. They found one 18 by 22 mm follicle and did the HCG shot later that day. My iui was on Sunday morning, 24th Nov cd13. I have been having cramps, hot flashes, sleeping a lot more and I do find myself getting angry in the mornings for trivial things!! On the upside this tww has been so far easier on me than last month. I am more relaxed, since I more or less know what to expect and I am not over thinking every twinge. With my DH in town and the holidays we are taking time to just relax, watch movies and eat good food. My progesterone check is on Monday. FX.
QOTW: I am thankful for my family, understanding and caring parents, in-laws, siblings and DH. I moved earlier this year from one state to another from a job I hated to a job I love, I am thankful for the opportunity and all the new experiences. I am thankful for feeling satisfied with my life at this time so that I can give all my positive energy to my treatments.
Happy belated thanksgiving giving to everyone who celebrates it. Though we don’t, I like the spirit of it.
AFM We flew straight to my hubby’s family for the holiday— his mom’s side multiple people (including his mom) made comments about “it will be so nice when you have a baby”.... ugh! Seeing his dad’s side today, they have 2 new babies on that side so we will see how it goes. Trying to just ignore it all.

@amgpg25 will have my fingers crossed for you on Monday! I found the subsequent IUI's for me got a bit easier too. FX FX FX
@2dogsmom sorry to hear you had to field all the questions. The absolute worst! Hope today's get together is better and like @inthewoods23 says the baby will pull the attention, even if it will be hard to be around them.
AFM we triggered Thurs night and did ER this morning. Wasn't bad at all. I was anxious last night thinking about it. Our clinic does awake sedation, pretty good stuff lol.
Anyway... We got 5 eggs. They were doing ICSI this afternoon and we find out how many fertilized successfully tomorrow morning. Tuesday we find out how many made it to Day 3 and then find out Thurs/Fri about how many made it to biopsy for testing and freezing. I'm super worried we didn't get enough to make it through all these stages but trying to keep the worry stamped down. We can't control it now.

I always wondered if my family thought something was up because after my niece was born, he did not want to hold her or play with her because it was a difficult thing for him to do when he wants one of his own and is having a hard time getting that. Idk if it actually helps to show interest in other babies because then it helps mask the fact that you're struggling to have your own baby.

@inthewoods23 I totally get why your hubby wouldn’t want to interact that much with a baby — I go in waves. Sometimes I’m happy to hold them sometimes I don’t really want to. But yeah, it wasn’t too hard to deal with but I would have definitely preferred they not do it. Holidays are hard.
