11 month old + 7 week old = one tired momma

Holy moly what a day!  A seven week old who is not used to ever being put down and an 11 month old who has never shared his mom.  I can not wait for bedtime because I need a drink and a long bath, lol.  And I thought I wanted two kids..... lol.

You'll be fine!!  Honestly, I had a good time - I am just exhausted.

Heck no! lol - I think we are to the point now where we wouldn't be terrified but we not ready to actually try to have another.  I'm thinking three years between kiddos - but who knows.

How are you feeling?  Are you getting everything ready yet?

  • Brandi, it is hard, but also so amazing!  It's so neat to see siblings develop their relationship.

Feeling good.  No complications so far (knock on wood).  Getting things together slowly but surely.  Actually, we just have the crib and the bedding! lol.  I have a shower beg. of Feb., so we are kind of waiting for that before we buy anything off of our registry.  I am sure it will creep up on me fast!

This is what I am hoping for.  I actually told dh tonight that I am getting really nervous as to how I am going to handle 2.

Ditto!  Sarah is constantly in Jacob's face.  When I try to get her to stop, he nearly breaks his neck trying to find where she is in the room.  He's constantly staring and smiling at her.
