I'm probably not the best person to start the check-in threads each week because I'm not usually on my laptop Monday mornings but I will do it when I can. Whoever is on first can just start it. We don't really need a designated person, right?

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out!
Baby is the size of a(n): poppyseed - so tiny
Upcoming appointments: Had my first beta on Saturday - 10dp5dt (488); second beta is tomorrow. After that we will schedule my 7 week us with IVF clinic; My first OB appt is sometime next month. With the holidays it will hopefully all fly by. I'm so anxious to know the lo is doing well.
How are you feeling? Fine. No significant symptoms yet except that I'm so thirsty. I don't remember that from my first pregnancy.
Raves/Rants: I had a Popeye's Chicken sandwich yesterday. It really is delicious but a bit too spicy for me.
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? We will go to CT to see family. My mom hosts Thanksgiving. I won't be ready to tell anyone yet and it's going to be really hard to keep it a secret.

Baby is the size of a(n): poppy seed
Upcoming appointments: this Friday 11/22. My doctor usually doesn't see patients until 6w or later, but since my LMP was 10/4 they think I'm further along. I'm glad I'm able to get in so soon since we are moving out of state in a couple of weeks, and I would've hated to have to wait until after Christmas to get a 1st appointment.
How are you feeling? mostly normal, which of course makes me nervous. I just have to keep telling myself it's early, and enjoy the lack of nausea while I can. I didn't have a ton of MS with DS so I hope it will be like that with this one, too. I've just been very emotional, thirsty, metallic taste, and intestinal issues.
Raves/Rants: Really excited for this pregnancy, but not excited to be moving during the holidays.
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? it will be just me, DH, and DS as usual. Both our families are out of state, and since we're moving we didn't want to do a big thing. DH'S brother and their cousin who is coming to town may stop by for a bit.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: I'm not sure if we're going to find out.
Baby is the size of a(n): appleseed
Upcoming appointments: dec 3rd
How are you feeling? Fine, besides this dang sinus infection. My whole family came down with it
Raves/Rants: This cold is my only rant
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? Lunch at the inlaws
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): M on an M&M
Upcoming appointments: ultrasound on Friday 😬
How are you feeling? Totally fine so naturally I’m nervous as hell for this ultrasound. I keep having nightmares about things happening. Trying to tell myself it’s so early but I’m not doing a great job at calming myself down. I guess after infertility I am just used to being pessimistic? Gah I don’t know.
Raves/Rants: see above lol. Other than that I kind of feel like I’m getting a cold. My birth father and his family came to visit this weekend and it went really well. I was really nervous because it was the first time we were all meeting in person.
Questions: not really. Just silently panicking over here.
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? We’d usually drive up to my family’s for thanksgiving but we got invited to a wedding here and I wanted an excuse to not go home because I was terrified of my cousin announcing baby #2. Dumb but it is what it is. Now I wish we were going home. I think we’re going to DH’s aunt and uncle’s for a Thanksgiving lunch. It’ll be kind of nice to have Friday off and just hang out together and maybe get some things done around the house over the weekend to include decorating for Christmas!
@laurad75 yea I don’t think there’s a designated person to start the thread- go for it
@macheno sounds like you and I are in the same boat with not a lot of symptoms and being nervous. Hope we both get great news on Friday!
Edited because I forgot EDD
DS2: Jan. 2016
DS3: Dec. 2017
Baby #4 on the way!
DS2: Jan. 2016
DS3: Dec. 2017
Baby #4 on the way!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: I think I want to find out this time. I did team green for my first and my last but I think this time since Im still in shock and we need to adjust bedrooms I think it would be easier to know and give everyone some time to adjust.
Baby is the size of a(n): I think I read appleseed
Upcoming appointments: So I finally called my doctor and they want me to go in on Wed the 20th to get blood and pee done. No sonogram yet but I was surprised they didnt want to wait til later to do it all at once. My doctor is super through though and orders all the tests my insurance covers etc. I have failed that damn glucose test everytime by mere points but she makes me take the 4 hour one regardless everytime. I tried to get out of it last time because I knew I was fine and I was only like a point over her limit which is lower than most doctors and she kept telling me I had to go so I finally did. Im so dreading that all over again already.
How are you feeling? I feel fine. Im lucky in that I dont really have many or bad symptoms. I never get morning sickness and my boobs are too tiny to ever get sore anyway. I love pregnancy truthfully and would love to be pregnant all the time or be a surrogate. I want to get excited about this one so I can enjoy it since I do love being pregnant and this is the absolute last time.
Raves/Rants: Forth grade honors math is the absolute worst. I hate doing it with my son. We both end up crying some days. Its the worst.
Questions: I dont really have any?
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? Very low key at my moms. We use to go to a big family one in upstate NY but after my cousin died my aunt and uncle stopped hosting which I understand.
Are you near CT since you are having Thanksgiving there? Im not that far in NJ
@macheno If your LMP was the 4th of Oct I bet they will move your date. Mine was the 12th and my due date is before yours.
@crystalmir91385 I hear you about the cold. I hate winter and its not even here yet.
@b_1029 So glad to hear meeting your birth father went well!
@KatieEl Half days are the worst! We had them all last week for teacher conferences. Throws everything off! How old is your oldest? My youngest is in pre school and my older two are in elementary.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out!
Baby is the size of a(n): Peppercorn
Upcoming appointments: December 16 which is later than with my first so bring on the anxiety.
How are you feeling? Thank you @macheno @b_1029 and @KatieEl for sharing you also have no symptoms. It's making me so nervous that I feel pretty normal. I have been falling asleep on the couch at night which was my #1 sign when I was pregnant with DS (who is 5 months old!) and I have an aversion to brussel sprouts but I am fairly certain that's carried over from my last pregnancy.
Raves/Rants: Rave: This is my last full week of work. I am leaving my job next week and taking the month of December off before starting a new gig in January. Rant: I am dealing with a little bit of embarrassment that we got pregnant so soon after our son was born. It's making me not want to share the news with anyone right now (especially after my mom's tempered reaction). Trying to convince my husband to keep the lid on it until Christmas morning....or preferably our due date
Questions: Any moms with LOs close in age that felt the same way? Also any moms who switched jobs and had to tell their new employer about their big news?
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? Heading to NYC to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade before we fly out for vacation on Friday morning.
@KatieEl No, actually the opposite. A little further from family. We are moving to Pittsburgh- DH just accepted a job working with UPitt. It's exciting for us, but bittersweet. NYC has been our home for over a decade. I'm trying to be positive and hopeful of what's to come. We will hopefully have more space, a lower cost of living, and more time together.
@enchantindragon After reading Taking Charge of your Fertility and charting, it just seems so insane to predict due dates from LMP. I'm pretty confident my OB will adjust my due date. He's really great and relaxed.

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: we’ll be finding out!
Baby is the size of a(n): Appleseed
Upcoming appointments: need to call my doctor to make one but probably in about two weeks
How are you feeling? Yesterday I kept feeling nauseous and had zero desire to drink iced coffee, which is what led me to taking a test. Hoping the nausea doesn’t hang around for too long with DD2 I had it off and on the whole pregnancy. I’ve also been pretty emotional, my girls met Santa over the weekend and I teared up
Raves/Rants: none really, pretty excited about adding a third even though it’s a few months earlier than anticipated
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? We’re going to my dad’s family in NH. I’m sure the cat will come out of the bag then when I’m not drinking any wine
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): Appleseed
Upcoming appointments: Dec 3
How are you feeling? fine now, at first I was exhausted and felt like I had a head cold. Sure enough that has cleared up and now I feel normal. Having the occasional mild cramp. This is my first so I'm really not sure what to think!!
Raves/Rants: my husband doesn't understand the anxiety I'm having after finding out. I keep explaining: how odd it is to try not to get pregnant for so many years, then to TTC and realize it's difficult, then finally have a positive test and the doc doesn't want to see me for three weeks?? Can't wait to tell a couple of friends in a few weeks so I can commiserate.
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? On the day well have my mom over, then to my grandmother and dad afterwards. My in laws are coming up this weekend so we'll see them then.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Team Green!
Baby is the size of a(n):
Upcoming appointments: November 29 NaPro and December 20 midwife
How are you feeling? a little tired, a little nauseous, nothing sounds good to eat
Raves/Rants: excited but nervous/Husband is out of town for next 5 days and then again right after Thanksgiving
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? We are hosting my family! Trying to get ready and do school projects and toddler! AHHHH

I had ultrasound yesterday. I'm measuring 6 weeks, 1 day (measuring 4 days ahead based on my LMP). She tried to get heart rate, said have to have steady hand....? Screen was away from me. Tech can't tell you anything which I get. Tech did show me yolk sack. DH could see screen and said it showed heart rate 92. I spoke to the nurse this morning and she confirmed heart rate of 92 and said it was low.....She also said due date of July 14, which is my brother who died unexpectedly 6 weeks after DS1. However, my due date based on LMP is 7/18. We will figure out at appointment what due date they'll go with. Regardless I'm telling people end of July and either July 28 or July 31 if specific date is asked!
My progesterone went from 18.7 to 18.9 in 8 days(on 1 vaginal suppository per night). I am seeing NaPro dr one hour away and she thought I needed them based on what she saw in my record and recent progesterone draw. My city doesn't have them so they'll be shipped and should arrive early next week. I had progesterone injections with DS1 and it just sucked all the time I was always sore and had all day nausea until week 20 (I gained no weight until then).
Someone, please assure me that heart rate is fine?
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Team finding out! My daughter wants a sister so bad.
Baby is the size of a(n): chocolate chip
Upcoming appointments: I have an appointment in two weeks for another ultrasound. They only saw a yolk and a sac today.
How are you feeling?: Fine, just tired and hungry.
Raves/Rants: None today but I'm sure there will be some eventually lol.
Questions:
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? I'll be spending time with my family and planning a cute Christmas announcement!
EDD/weeks+days: July 19, 5+4
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: team green (unless I change my mind!)
Baby is the size of a(n): appleseed
Upcoming appointments: well, I had one today - dating ultrasound. My original EDD was 7/10 based on LMP, but I measured today at 5+4 so we adjusted my EDD. They want me to come back in 10 days for another US to see if we can see an embryo this time and catch a heartbeat
How are you feeling? Good generally. Sore boobs, very tired. Some pockets of light nausea but nothing significant.
Raves/Rants: I tried exercising (beyond walking/yoga) last night and it was the WORST. Boobs hurt, didn't feel strong, woof.
Questions: none at the moment!
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? Heading to my parents in NJ (we live in New England) and all the siblings (& spouses) will be there too. I'm excited, and extra so because we'll be telling them I'm expecting! It's the first baby on my side so it should be a very exciting moment.
