oral progesterone when breastfeeding?

Hello Im 5 weeks 4 days along and my progesterone levels are 11.  I've also had many miscarriages. My docter prescribed me oral progesterone 200mg once a day, but it concerns me since Im still breastfeeding my 18 month old. I read online that vaginal progesterone was usually what is given and is safer for use when breastfeeding. Have any of you taken oral progesterone when breastfeeding?

I think you're in the wrong place.  This is miscarriage/pregnancy loss where we support each other through our losses.  You're talking about breastfeeding and a currently viable pregnancy.  Try the 1st tri board or a board where people aren't focused solely on LOSS. Personally myself and many others here have never had a living baby (I've had 5 MCs myself), let alone a possible second, so we would have no idea what to tell you.

You can also try your doctor...just a thought. They might be the experts on that. I mean, I'm just floating the idea.
