I was working from Panera yesterday afternoon/early evening and this woman was walking around with her tray, stopped right in front me, and said (to no one in particular) “is there someplace I can sit where no one has a CELL PHONE?!?” in this tone that she might as well have been talking about dog poop. I was holding my phone because I was texting my coworker to coordinate travel plans for today but no one was actually talking on the phone. It seemed like she was just showing her contempt for society’s phone usage and I really wanted to say something back but didn’t in case there was something else going on. But wtf? So strange
WTF, Verizon?! Did I really need to be on the phone for 21 minutes for you to tell me it will cost $199 to fix the glass back of my phone? GTFOH and just tell me next time instead of trying to upsell me more crap.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@bows22 A random attack of Old Lady-itis. Maybe she is paranoid about the rays affecting her brain!
@NYTino24 I hate that! DH's bosses try to force him to sell customers their company credit card. They can't make him, but they can withhold promotions or department transfers. He won't mention it unless they ask him; there are signs everywhere.
Super pissed off this morning. One of the music teachers that's retiring got a text from another teacher claiming I had done a happy dance when I heard she was retiring which is absolutely not true. My jaw hit the floor when she asked me about it this morning but she won't tell me who said it. So angry that someone is spreading blatant lies about me to my colleagues and didn't have the decency to talk to me like an adult if they thought I was doing something b*tchy like that (which again was completely untrue).
@bows22 WTH?!?! hahaha people are so strange it really makes me wonder sometimes!
@gingermama29 again, what is wrong with people?! Seriously though, it's sad that some people have NOTHING better to do than try and stir up drama between other people so that they can feel better about themselves.

@gingermama29 Oh my goodness. What is wrong with people? I find petty things like that flourish in schools which is really terrible. I'm glad the music teacher came to talk to you about it directly though rather than being passive aggressive about it.
@gingermama29 I will never understand people’s desire to spread cruelty in this world. What a damaged person. I’m sorry they put you in a bad situation.
@bows22 Wow, that doesn't even make sense! Many people in places like Panera/Starbucks, etc are either working or doing personal tasks on their phone/tablet/computer, and visit these places to do such. A place where she can eat with no one on their phone is home lol
@gingermama29 Jeez, I'm sorry you were thrown into this. What a terrible thing for someone to conjure up about you. Not to mention hurtful to the retiring teacher... I just don't understand some people. Good luck, girl.

@gingermama29 OMG my blood is boiling reading that! The person who sent that text message is petty AF. I hate when adults act like that, especially teachers. I've worked in schools where that kind of BS happened all the time. It was awful. Hugs to you, girl. I'm sorry you have to deal with that!
@gingermama29 ugh, so sorry that happened to you! That’s ridiculous someone would make up something like that and for what...other than to hurt both you and the other music teacher? They clearly need to get a life!
@bows22 what in the world was her point in doing that?? I mean really!
@NYTino24 reminds me of the time I called to cancel my Sirus XM. Seriously, please stop trying to convince me to keep my service for $10 a month for a year. Just do what I asked!! And companies wonder why they get creamed for having such bad customer service!
Not much of a WTF, but I want to tell people 😆 My coworker always talks like he's so busy with work (even on days when we get maybe 5 calls total). I walk past his cubicle to get to the bathroom and on my way back to my desk just now HE WAS TWEETING. From his work computer! Just dude, my perception of you is so poor. I kind of want to tattle on my coworker to my boss just to make a point that he's not busy, but I also check FB and obviously TB a million times a day so I'm no better. 😬
At least I get my work done in a timely manner though and am on top of my things to do... Unlike him.

My WTF goes to my boss who could not manage an employee to do their work and now that I took over their program, I now have to clean it up. She doesn’t know how to run anything....at all. I do so much for my division that when I’m out and something goes wrong they don’t really know how to fix it. She always dreads whenever I go on leave. But it’s nice to know that I can come into almost anything and fix it. I got an award from my agency for fixing a program that I only ran for six months while doing my other program full time at the same time. But back to my wtf. She’s been here for going on four years and doesn’t know many of the basic things to run our divisions and programs. Granted she knows high level information, but doesn’t know much to help her employees out.
