Progesterone (oral pill) and breastfeeding

Hi ladies! I am hoping someone on this board can help me.
I have been prescribed progesterone to take orally (100mg 2x a day) which I have been told is safe to take while nursing my 2 yr old. Anyone have experience with this?
Also, I have seen most women seem to take progesterone suppositories. I am just curious what the difference is? In all of my research I can't find any connection between oral progesterone and early pregnancy - I am 7 weeks.
This is my fourth pregnancy (2 DSs and one MC) and I have never taken progesterone before so I am nervous about it.
