Month/Cycle: trying since July 2019, actively been charting for 3 months

Typical LP: varies, was only 10 days last cycle so fingers crossed

Testing: trying to wait until 15/11 if I don’t get Aunt Flo!

R/R:these last few days I’ve been super tired! I think it’s partially from the time change because I work 7am-7pm I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark! Good news is I was off today and got to sleep in! I also got some hormonal tests back today and I am having an androgen imbalance like I thought. ive always known that something was off with my cycles and suspected PCOS or androgen imbalance but my docs just kind of covered my symptoms with BCP at a young age, but looking back if I knew what I know now back then I probably would have never taken BCP and tried to solve the underlying problem! I’m a little crusty about it because I honestly think most docs use BCP as a coverup solution and it’s not until women want children that they come off it and realize wow I do have a problem and now that I desperately want a baby I have to deal with it which means I may or may not be able to have a baby as soon as i thought I could. Regardless I am still very hopeful for this cycle and I’ve been doing so well exercising and eating well and keeping my stress to a minimum!

@dawn_tay - I agree that docs seem to hand out BCP to mask symptoms at a young age instead of trying to figure out what is causing the problem.

R/R: I had my annual physical yesterday and the MA had an actual foot in mouth moment: Going to put in a spoiler because LOs mentioned:

She was taking my blood pressure and height and weight and going on and on about her kids and then asked me if I had kids. I said no, but we're trying. She goes "ohhh don't rush, take your time, and travel, but one tip that always works when he's finished put a pillow under your butt." So I said, yeah I've tried all the tricks. And she goes "It works I'm telling you, got pregnant with my first in one month and my second in two months!" And I responded, "cool, we're going thru IVF so..."

Like did you even glance at my chart? I literally wrote that I had an embryo transfer TWO DAYS AGO!

TGIF!!!!! Finally, it's Friday!!

R/R: Working alone in my department yesterday was wonderful haha I'm looking forward to another quiet-ish day! Tonight the hubs and I are going to a comedy show. Although I'm exhausted, another rough night of insomnia, I'm looking forward to the show and laughing with DH!

@dawn_tay I've never heard of an androgen imbalance before. I'm glad you got some answers finally though! I'm still super impressed with how much HIO you and YH do! haha

@feather_heather I giggled at your "Couldn't get any better" comment!! OH MY GOD that story!!!! What is wrong with people?!?! hahaha

R/R:I’m starting to think af may come early this month. I had some tender boobs last night and woke up cramping this am. It’s too early to be pregnancy which normally means AF is a few days away. Having said that my temp was back on its was up today so maybe not and my body just wants to mess with me. Gonna try to not p&g today. So glad my presentation is over. Also tried to do the spoiler thing and made two and can’t figure out how to delete it so here we are lol.

@beckylookatherbump hmmmmm cramping at 5 dpo sounds strange all together, it would be super early for AF but then again, our bodies area always changing it up on us, aren't they?

@dawn_tay I was also put on BC at 14 for endometriosis but it never really helped. Had they looked into it further they would have found my pcos before we started trying for a baby.

@feather_heather what is wrong with people? Yes random stranger please tell me all your tips I’m sure you know way more than the specialist I’m seeing.

@kpearse99 you are killing me. 11 days and still holding out. I need that will power.

I was laying in bed this morning contemplating POAS and I talked myself out of it. I'm not sure the next two days will go so smoothly bahaha

@kpearse99 there is a 0% chance I’ll make it past 10 dpo if af doesn’t show up early. It gives me time to brace if af is coming so at least I can come to terms before also being a cramping hormonal mess

@kpearse99 Echoing @beckylookatherbump I need that will power. My longest record is 10dpo. Let’s see if I can hang on till my expected AF date lol

@beckylookatherbump yay presentation is over & hopefully you are less stressed. Temp looks good! Mild cramping maybe caused by luteal corpus and not AF?

@pom9207 hope you are going somewhere fun. And honesty the cramping is probably nothing like I have endometriosis I cramp all the time I’m just being a dramatic baby lol.

@kpearse99 I hope you enjoyed that comedy show I absolutely love going to those! And yes the baby dancing is always happening lol we have been very active like that for the past 7 years and now that we both want to start a family it just makes us want to even more! Doesn’t hurt that my husband kind of looks like Jamie Fraser from outlander either lol 😍

@pom9207 I hope you enjoy that mini vacation it sounds lovely!

on a better note I had an amazing burst of energy today and POWER cleaned my house! Also started to get ready to decorate for Xmas yay! My DH is gone hunting this weekend and it’s actually given me some amazing time for some R&R I did a face mask this evening and some yoga and then I have a good friend coming over for a girls night which I am SO exited for! She knows we are TTC and it’s nice to talk to people about it sometimes! I’m still going to try and hold out until the 15th to test!
