Thanks, all. You're the best. ❤️ I had a rough day, still crying off and on in the bathroom at work (sad, I know) but I do feel a bit better now.
@bows22 so sorry to see you here, friend. and yes, IKWYM. One of my first questions to my RE was "What does unexplained mean" and she said it doesn't mean that nothing is wrong, just that they can't find out what it is with the tests available to them. But I hope your testing goes well, and that you are one of the magical unicorns who posts here once and gets KU!!
@inthewoods23 thanks, that's exactly what I told MH too. I hope your mock transfer and biopsy go well - or even better, I hope you don't need it! (:
@emeraldduchess my LH fluctuates a bit too. I only know this because I have used those EPT quantitative OPKs that tell you your LH concentration. I've noticed it goes up and down a bit before the actual surge. But good luck with the trigger shot! I thought it was NBD, hopefully you do too.
@ellieemc26 welcome!! Yep to what the others said. My RE said they're making sure there are no cysts that could be made worse by the meds. They couldn't see both my ovaries last time - so they also checked my estrogen from the BW to make sure it was normal too.
@kiki047 much love, friend! ♥️ I think it's so cute that your boss is your dad (: he sounds truly adorable.
@feather_heather weep tomorrow?! You must come back and update us, I'll be thinking about you!
@misshelen86 I'm so sorry that your HSG did not go as expected. I totally understand feeling some post-traumatic stress afterward. It's so uncomfortable, and hearing hard news just makes it all worse. I had a terrible ultrasound last time before my IUI, and I honestly felt weirdly violated afterward too. I mean I know I agreed to it, but She was digging around for so long that I was two seconds away from saying "please stop, ouch". All the hugs today. 💜
@mvt2003 just saying **HI** and looking forward to your update!! ❤️
@meri-mac you're so close too!! Omg, soany grad announcements I'm going to have to read in short order (lol, but seriously, let's keep those announcents coming!)
@nitnat007 Oooh, workout gear is a good one. I definitely had a time in my life when I spent too much on yoga pants, but I usually consider it money well spent.
This thread is getting away from me today! I promise I will come back for tags. I am just typing this up quickly at work and will get back to respond to people this evening when I am home.
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, one blocked tube
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole, gonal-f, trigger, IUI, progesterone
How are things going?: IUI went well, and I felt pretty good about it until I was bored yesterday and started googling things. Now I'm freaking out that my follicles were too small, and my lining was too thin. This morning I woke up in a full-blown anxiety attack, and couldn't make myself get out of bed. I want to blame my craziness on all of the meds, but it's probably just me...
Any questions?: It is what it is, but I guess I'm still wondering why my doctor didn't wait to trigger until my follies were bigger (17.57 and 17.29). Has anyone else had their doctor do something like that? Do you know why? Also, I read online that sometimes Viagra is prescribed to improve uterine lining. I haven't noticed anyone say that on here, but maybe I missed it. Any experience with that?
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? I would say shoes I guess. I've had 2 back surgeries and cannot deal with uncomfortable shoes all day long, so I will pay a fair amount if needed. Otherwise, I guess I'm willing to pay a lot for good dress pants (but my version of "a lot" is probably quite a bit lower than most people's!)
@shoogapoff I'm sure every RE has a different approach but since the trigger is supposed to take about 36hrs before you actually release the eggs and follicles can grow at a rate of around 1-2mm a day, I would think that between the time you had your scan and when you actually released the egg they have a chance to grow another 2-4mm? That puts you right in the 20mm+ range. I've never heard that about viagra, but I'm learning new things every day! Like men who have been prescribed clomid. So interesting.

@shoogapoff - @kiki047 is correct about your follies still growing after the trigger. I’ve never heard that about viagra, that’s very interesting If that’s true. If this IUI doesn’t work for you, I would certainly ask why they wanted you to trigger so soon instead of waiting.

@kiki047 your talk with your dad sounds so nice. I’m glad it made you feel good. And I hope that your body cooperates so your timing of things can work out better. As if we don’t have enough to worry about.
@shoogapoff I don’t know enough to answer your question but I definitely think you should ask your RE that question at some point. Or better yet I hope your IUI was successful and you don’t have to ask 🙂
@jennifer_louise thanks friend 🙂. I posted here a couple of weeks ago but then thought I’d try to do the dailies again and now I’m back. I feel like I don’t know where I belong really but I am so thankful that you guys are okay with me jumping in❤️
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #1!
How are things going?: Great! I just did my first IUI today. I had a peak indicated by digital OPK and went to the OB right after, where she measured my largest follicle to be 14mm*16mm. She initially refused to do an IUI cycle saying my follicle was not big enough. And then the next day (Sunday) I had a stronger test line on those LH strips. I contacted my OBGYN asking her if we can still proceed with an IUI. She agreed and sent an order to a local lab.
Today DH went to the lab at 9am. We got our washed sample around 11am. DH’s post wash number is at 68M/ml. We were handed with 0.5ml washed sample.
IUI happened at 1pm. It took my OBGYN about 5minutes to insert the catheter into my cervix. The process was generally painless... I had some discharge that doesn’t really look like CM following the IUI...
Any questions?: from previous thread I remember leakage after IUI is normal?
Also, I was told at my Saturday’s US that there is no cyst on my ovaries. Last cycle the doctor from my home country suspected a 10mm by 9mm ovarian endometrioma (chocolate cyst) on my right ovary. Now that the US doesn’t show any cyst, I must not have ovarian endo?
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on?
Shoes? We don’t really have dress code at work, so I usually just buy casual jeans and cheap t-shirts 😆
Hi everyone, back for my update. (Late, I know, but we took some time to process and spend some time together tonight. We put up our Christmas tree and went to Walmart to buy a new small tree for upstairs this year.)
We liked the RU, he seemed very nice. He went through all of the basic questions, confirmed that I had already been tested. He then explained what I already knew, that the count was low (and probably knocks us out of IUI contention) but morphology and motility are decent. MH has to do another SA, but the RU thinks it will come back with very similar results since we did the test correctly to begin with. He did a quick physical exam on MH (which I had not expected or prepared him for. Whoops!) and we're doing blood work and an ultrasound next week.
He seems to think it's a supply issue, and that we're going to be moving on to IVF next. I got frustrated when I got home, because I feel like this is just another hurdle we have to cross to get to where we're inevitably heading. I just want to get there and get this rolling!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Still waiting for DH’s SA results. I started my testing today (CD 3).
How are things going?: I had my CD 3 bloodwork and an ultrasound today. I asked about DH’s SA results and they said it usually takes a week which seems long but oh well. Tomorrow is a week so hopefully they appear. The ultrasound went fine I think. I’ve been having some pain that feels like ovulation pain at random times in my cycle and the tech said that there were some cysts and it might be ruptured cysts that I’m feeling. I’m a little concerned about that but she said a lot of people have them and they aren’t in a location that would impact fertility. I also have some fibroids which I knew about but she said they weren’t a concern either. This was all from the ultrasound tech. She said they would go over the results with me at my SHG next week so I’ll feel better once that happens.
Any questions?: I don’t want to google so any reassurance on the cyst thing would be welcomed (or the opposite, I can handle it. Won’t be worse than the scenarios I’m sure to create in my head haha ugh)
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Jeans for sure. We can wear them to our office so I like to have ones that look good, are comfortable, and last a long time
@mvt2003 I understand your frustration and hope that IVF works for you if that’s where you’re headed. @pom9207 Yay! When is your beta? @inthewoods23 How are you feeling? Been quiet without you!! @shoogapoff Sometimes they are worried about ovulation occurring spontaneously and then the IUI being late. My office decided to have me trigger when one measurement of the lead follicle was 18 and then it remeasured to 20 and my lining wasn’t very good, which I do think may have played a part in the failure last cycle. Who knows, but what’s done is done. They did do better this cycle by having me go a day later and listening to me about switching from Clomid to Letrozole. Try to stay calm!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@mvt2003 Sorry for not giving you a heads up on the physical exam for your H today. Funny story, when MH had his appointment the dr tried to make awkward small talk. In the middle of the exam he asked if we had any weekend plans. I burst out laughing because apparently I'm immature like that.
Did the RU give you any wait time for when to complete the second SA? We had similar numbers as you for the first SA (3 mil), but second SA was higher (12 mil). H's urologist said counts can adjust seasonally and because of acute stressors (sickness, stress, etc) so recommended at least 2 months between SAs.

@bows22 I had a ruptured cyst last spring and OB also said no big deal. Apparently lots of us get cysts and never even know. I only knew about mine because the rupture caused severe abdominal pain and I ended up in the ER worried I had appendicitis and they did a cat scan. I guess they don’t always burst so maybe the light pain is a cyst that hasn’t ruptured? I’ve felt some light pain since then that I identify as similar but not near as severe that I assume are cysts. I get the impression they just come and go.
Ha! Thanks @millpe 😂 It was probably for the best that he didn’t know, he handled it fine although I did have to remind him I gad contrast dye shot inside me so I still win 😂 I died at your laughing during his exam. I thought about it myself!!! Our RU told us we’re over a month out from the last SA, so we’re clear to do it any time now. I questioned him if we needed to wait a specified period and he said in his experience, no. I’m pretty confident that the numbers are not going to change, so poor H is now on a hold for a Friday SA. This way it doesn’t clash with FW!
@bows22 thanks friend! We’re aiming for Friday. Poor H has to abstain between now and then, and then we head into FW.
Thanks @NYTino24 every doctor we see keeps telling us our IVF chances are excellent and I’m like GREAT CAN WE GET STARTED. 😂

So we are in this limbo of do we try for a natural cycle and risk a repeat miscarriage (would be #3) or do we bench this month and wait out for the planned IUI next cycle. I emailed RE today to ask, but waiting on a response. *TW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Finishing up testing. SA for H and physical for me. All the vitamins (CoQ10, vitamin D, baby aspirin, folate, PNV), and adding cabergoline and synthroid in a few days. ABX on CD1.
How are things going?: Good. Trying to fit all the testing in the next 2 weeks so we are good to go. Already worried about timing with work travel and holidays for next cycle.
Any questions?: NATM
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? I am bad about not spending money on myself, H however spends money on me. Probably accessories (watches, sunglasses, shoes etc) are his favorite to buy me. My marriage definitely upgraded my wardrobe.
@NYTIno24 Yay for IUI! Best wishes during the TWW! Hope the trip keeps your mind occupied.
@kpearse99 Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Way to hold out strong for that beta! In my experience what helps getting through TWW is spoiling yourself. Go get your nails down, have a movie night, girls night, etc Plan something every day to keep yourself busy and lots of TLC!
@jennifer_louise Ugh! Sorry about CD1. Way to turn the corner and start out fresh for this next cycle. I hope you treat yourself with kindness!
@misshelen86 I am sorry about your rough HSG experience. Mine was definitely something I would not want to repeat either. I have heard of people moving forward with a blocked tube, just timing any TI or IUI when the other ovary is producing, with ultrasounds to know which side is ovulating or with medication to increase the follie production on the good side, there is still lots of options. Fx for some good news soon!
@meri-mac AHH! So excited for your ER on Thursday! Good luck!
@feather_heather Hope you are getting lots of rest tonight! Excited to hear how your transfer goes and the report on your embryos!
@ellieemc26 hi! Welcome! Sorry you find yourself here, but it is a great group to learn from and lean on for support during this process. Wishing you the best for this next cycle!
@inthewoods23 This may be a dumb question, but is there a reason they are waiting to do the biopsy? I think it has to be done during the FP, but is there another reason?
@kiki047 Your relationship with your dad sounds special! I am happy you have his support through this (even if it means more tears at times).
@shoogapoff Yay for IUI going well! Stay away from Google, it is evil lol! Regarding the timing, it may have been because ideally you trigger with your normal LH surge so you ride the wave, unless you tend to ovulate later, then sometimes they want you to trigger early to try to prompt your body into ovulating so the eggs don’t age. There is still a lot of unknown around quality of eggs and not a lot of testing is available so it is an art of sorts to find the perfect size and age of an egg. But like others said, your follies continue to grow during the LH surge window until they are released so I am sure they were probably over the 20mm+.
@mvt2003 I ran my first 1/2 marathon this weekend and thought of you! Love that you put up your Christmas tree already! The RU appointment sounds like it went well, but I understand the feeling of just wanting to get to the productive stuff.
@bows22 Hope the SA results come in soon! Are your next steps the review of results next week?
@NYTino24 Thanks! Great that IUI went well for you! My OB didn't set a beta date for me, so I will just use HPT. Trying to refrain from testing early though! When's your beta? Fx for both of us
@emeraldduchess Hope you get some clear answers! I didn't get to do any bloodwork with my current OB this cycle, but my LH test strips were fluctuating between showing weak positive (two equal lines) and showing negative (weaker test lines) around CD15 to CD17. I ended up ovulating so late (CD19) compared to my previous cycle! Fx for you this IUI will work out!
@kpearse99 I know! The second week in the TWW is so hard... I usually don't have any symptoms during my LP, so I wasn't able to symptom spot... Hope this TWW goes by fast for you and you will have good news next Monday!
@jennifer_louise so sorry last IUI didn't work for you. Glad that you and YH was able to have a candid talk about IVF. We also have unexplained IF: even though I have elevated prolactin and MH has borderline morph, our OB didn't think these would impact our chance of getting pregnant... We will try 1-3 cycles of IUI, and if we couldn't achieve pregnancy this year, we will start IVF. Also, glad that you enjoyed progesterone support!
@misshelen86 I had followed some Youtubers who shared their IF journey, and those with blocked tube(s) are the ones who actually had greater success compared to couples with other factors. Just my observations, but hope that can help you feel better
@feather_heather Great that you had a couple of days to rest after ER! Hope the embryos are growing strong!
@nitnat007 Feel better! Excited for you on starting the IVF cycle.
Hi @ellieemc26 ! Welcome! I am sorry that you find yourself here, but this is truly a wonderful community I also just joined the IF weekly thread, and I already found it so helpful and encouraging
@inthewoods23 Fx this is your magic cycle! Hope the vacation did the job
@bows22 Thank you! Seems like you will get a lot of answers very soon! I have been having some pains before ovulation and during late LP on my lower right abdomen. The RE in my home country did a couple of US saying it might be ovarian endometrioma, but this cycle my OB says she didn't spot anything suspicious on my right ovary. I guess that I just had some come and go cysts. My OB says she isn't concerned at all.
@mvt2003 Glad that you liked the RU! Fx for you and YH!
@kiki047 Hugs, and happy that you and your dad had a good chat! I also have not so regular cycles - sometimes 26 days, sometimes 32 days... longer cycle drives me nuts
@shoogapoff Ohhhh! I also have smaller follicle. On Saturday when my digital OPK showed peak fertility, my OB did an US and said that my lead follicle is at 15mm. She refused to do an IUI, saying the follicle was too small. She said at her practice, she usually trigger when the follicle reaches the minimum size of 18mm. But next day (Sunday) the test line got even darker! I called again and got to do an IUI Monday noon. I didn't use any trigger shot. The Monday US shows that I just ovulated. I read online that a good size mature follicle needs to be at least 18mm, and ideally at least 20mm. I guess smaller follicle means smaller luteal corpus, thus it may not produce enough progesterone? All guessing though!
@ramzlau Thanks! Sounds like a busy month for you! Hope everything works out great for you.
@pom9207 progesterone check 11/12 and beta 11/19. The trigger shot wasn’t out of my system until like 13 dpo and I used up all of my tests except one digital so I won’t test until maybe the morning
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I remembered (in the middle of the night) something else the ultrasound tech said. My lining was 10 mm which she was surprised about for day 3 of my cycle. She said I should still have another day of heavy bleeding but I didn’t. I do have heavy bleeding for the first 2 days so I’m confused that so much would be left? Has anyone else experienced this?
@ramzlau I hope your RE is able to give you guidance to make you comfortable with whatever you decide! Edit to answer your question - I have my SHG on Monday, then I still have bloodwork once I get + OPK and then 7 DPO bloodwork, so I have an appointment after all of that do go over everything but I think they will at least briefly go over what we’ve done so far at the SHG next week. I’m going to ask if they don’t haha
@jennifer_louise Thanks hun! I hope we can see some more ladies move on this month too!
@shoogapoff The BSC takes a hold of all of us at some time. I agree with the other ladies that everything is fine. Fx crossed for you!
@pom9207 Fx for you! Looks like everything is good!
@mvt2003 I'm glad the RU was nice. I am willing time to go quickly for you. I'm sorry for this newest hurdle. We will be here to help you get through it
@bows22 I know the word cyst can be scary, but go with the medical advice. If the nurse said it won't impact fertility then you are good My lining was quite thick at my first ultrasound, but my period only lasted about 3 days. Now everything is good. Fx for your SHG & BW!
@ramzlau I'm sorry for limbo. It is so frustrating! Hoping everything works out timing-wise! My wardrobe got considerably nerdier when DH and I started dating (Wonder Woman t-shirts and jewelry). I had a decent amount of Star Wars items, but he helped me branch out
@pom9207 so glad you were able to get the IUI in! I know you were worried it wasn't going to happen.
@mvt2003 I'm glad you liked the RU and that the appointment went seemingly well. But I am deeply sorry that you this is where you and YH have landed in your TTC journey. The good news is that you're getting the help you need to get what you truly want and deserve. Take all the time you need to process it all.
@bows22 so glad your got your CD3 appointment in and that everything, for the most part, is in order and looking good! I am also proud of you for not going down a google rabbit hole!!!
@ramzlau Thanks, girl!! We do have decent plans this weekend so that will make the time fly by I feel like, if I were in your position, and of course based on what the doctor says in response to you asking them, I would keep trying on our own.

@bows22 you're right, my dad is the best. He frustrates me to no end when it comes to his work ethic but as far as Dads go he's a big softie. Sorry you're finding yourself here, but I 10000% know how you feel about not 'fitting in' over in the dailies but not feeling like you totally qualify for the IF thread yet. That was me for about 6 months, and was probably when I stopped participating as much. In hindsight, it didn't matter where I hung out, the support was there if/when I needed it and the same goes for you! You're more than welcome here but we'll still find you if you hop back and forth re: cysts, I have PCOS so I'm prone to getting them. It's very common and generally nothing to worry about unless they get really big and uncomfortable, then they can burst and cause a lot of discomfort like @ellieemc26 said. Pretty sure I had a cyst rupture on Friday night that I mistook for O pain but all good now. @pom9207 glad you were able to do the IUI after all. and re: smaller follicle size, I think it also has to do with egg maturity. If the egg is too immature then it can't fertilize (or it may not result in a viable embryo). @mvt2003 I'll echo what PPs have said - SAs can change drastically depending on different conditions. It's good to have the conversations about what comes next, i.e. IVF, but don't give up hope that things can still change after the repeat SA and ultrasound next week. MH's count has a swing of almost 10mil depending on the season, his antidepressants, his stress level and # of days of abstinence. He's been taking FertilAid for about 10 months now but I've also started him on the CountBoost which he complains that the Bcomplex in it makes his pee neon yellow sorry bud, suck it up, every little bit helps. @ramzlau your H sounds so thoughtful to buy you little gifts and things like that. MH would be the one to say that our marriage upgraded his wardrobe, I think he's had some of his clothes since high school, and I'm sure his Mom bought him most of it. I've been systematically replacing all his short sleeve Old Navy shirts with "grown up" dress shirts the staff at his work tease him relentlessly about it.

Update: A different nurse did my ultrasound this morning. She has quite a calm demeanor which is helpful for my craziness. She gave me an updated count of 16 follicles in each ovary, the majority of which are 17mm or larger. The others also have a good chance of having mature eggs. Then the terrifying discussion happened.
She wanted me to be prepared for a freeze-all cycle due to OHSS. Given how well I have responded to the drugs it is possible I could suffer from hyperstimulation. The RE will review everything today and then they will schedule the retrieval. If it is a possibility, she will discuss it with us on the day of retrieval. The most likely process will be to prepare for a fresh transfer, but to keep an eye out for symptoms of OHSS in the days leading up to it. I was able to keep from crying until the nurse left. I don't want this process to be delayed. Not after everything. I am willing my body to behave. I'm not even re-reading the OHSS material because I don't want my body to get any ideas. Talk about BSC.
@ellieemc26 Sorry that you find yourself here. But welcome! FX for your iui.
@kpearse99 Headaches are getting better. But all from the nasal spray. It always be worse though, so wont complain....too much.
@inthewoods23 FX for testing. Sending you positive vibes.
@kiki047 Aw I am so glad that you talked to your dad and he knows what is going on now. I am sure it was very emotional for you both, but a huge weight lifted as well. Hugs.
@jennifer_louise Workout gear is always money worth spent. And when it gets old and doesn't go to the gym anymore, then it becomes my 'house work' or 'painting' clothes. They live on! Hope you have a better day today.
@shoogapoff Step away from the Google! Everything crossed for you.
@pom9207 Rooting for a successful iui for you! hopefully the US u/s is correct and there is no cyst there.
@mvt2003 The process takes such a long time to get through it all and get the ball rolling. I was the same, had a gut feeling that IVF was where we needed to be, but it took months and months to get started. Hopefully not too much more in front of you before you can start. Glad the RU visit went well though.
@bows22 Great that your u/s tech was so informative. All the ones that I have ever been to will not say a word about anything. Good luck with your HSG next week.
@ramzlau Good luck with getting all the testing done. We had a mad dash to get everything in order as well. You got this.
@ramzlau Congratulations on your first half! That is a huge accomplishment!!!
Thank you ladies for all of your support @meri-mac@kpearse99@kiki047@nitnat007 I'm still swinging pretty wildly between anxiousness to get it going and fear of the process, but I know I'll be ok through this with you all by my side.

@mvt2003 I'll be right there with you girl! I felt like this thread (and my own research) had prepared me for what to expect with IVF but now that I'm actually taking steps to get the process started I'm totally freaking out. We got this. @meri-mac oh no! Sorry to hear that OHSS is a very real concern right now. That's so scary. Better to know now than after the ER so everyone is keeping a closer eye on things. That's why I was asking about an "optimal" # of eggs yesterday since my RE mentioned OHSS. He goes out of his way to avoid it. I'm sorry your fresh transfer may be in jeopardy but it's important that your own health isn't at risk first. deep breaths, it sounds like you're in great hands and they're going to do what's best for you even if it means switching to a FET. Hugs friend!!

Quick update - we finally got a private call-in number for my new insurance provider to discuss our plan benefits. I called this morning to see about IVF, and am absolutely stunned to report that all of your good thoughts worked. The new plan has a far superior benefit, despite some of the scary things I found while fear-googling. I almost cried in relief!

I have a 9yo and a 3yo. During both pregnancies and during the first few months I lurked on The Bump for information and just to feel like I wasn't alone in my experience. Now I am trying for a 3rd and having issues. It took 19 months to conceive my now 3yo. I had a blocked tube and had a procedure to remove the block. I was later given clomid and conceived my now 3yo.
(I am unsure how to do the "trigger warning", but the rest of this intro gets a little rough: loss, medical issues.) My clomid pregnancy was twins early on and we lost one. During the birth I went into A-Fib and was rushed to the ICU. During testing it was found that I had nodules on my throat, which later turned out to be cancerous, and then I soon had a total thyroidectomy. My fertility struggles and medical issues in general left me psychologically warn. Shortly after that pregnancy I began therapy and was later prescribed medication for anxiety. It helped me so much to process everything that had occurred. I've since discontinued the medication recently because I have this idea in my head that I should try to be "clean" to prepare my body for pregnancy. I know that's not based on reality. I just feel like I want to do anything I can. I may even be putting additional stress on my body in stopping the medication.
I've been lurking The Bump off and on for a decade (that sounds crazy when I type that out), but there is honestly something special about this group on TTGP. Many other groups were not so supportive and weren't there for help and encouragement specifically for the TTGP journey. This is finally a group I'd like to participate in.
Diagnosis (if you've been): previous blocked tube, currently not sure; appointment scheduled for mid-November
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW, but I am pretty sure I am out
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): waiting for my appointment to determine my plan
How are things going?: Stressing big time. Everything that I thought I had learned about my body from my previous infertility seems to have changed. I was a 28 day cycle, ovulate on day 14 kinda girl. Now my OPKs are telling me that I am ovulating as early as day 9 and my BBT is all over the place and just nonsense.
Also, my husband is in grad school and is so overwhelmed. We haven't told anyone we are TTC and it's been very lonely (again!) feeling so strongly about something that I don't feel comfortable opening up about.
Any questions?: can someone give me some heads-up on how to add the Trigger Warnings?
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? 100% shoes, and a close second with cozy fleece jackets
Update: ER is Thursday at 11am. We have to be there an hour early for prep. My trigger shot is a half dose to try and avoid OHSS. I also have a suppository to take for 8 days. I am so thrilled that I have no more injections after the trigger. My belly looks like a pin cushion! I really appreciate all the support, ladies. Here's hoping healthy eggs & embryos and for a fresh transfer!
hi @misskdreams. I'm so sorry you find yourself here in IF-land with us but welcome to our little community. It sounds like you've done your share of lurking so you've probably seen how things operate around here. We normally encourage newbies to introduce themselves in the newbie intro thread as well*, just so that others who don't frequent the IF thread will know who you are should you choose to participate in some of the general daily GTKY (get to know you) threads.
As a general rule we don't talk about LC (live children) here outside of the TFAS thread, however if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation it can be brought up using the *TW* trigger warning *end TW* or else with a *TW* and in a spoiler.
Like this!
Looking forward to getting to know you. I'm glad you decided to join in!
*Just noticed there wasn't an intro thread this week so I created one.

Home from my FET! They told us we had the best embryo of the day!! Graded a 7AA! The transfer itself was super quick and easy! Other than the fact that I was scared I was going to pee all over the doctor lol We have 4 embryos to freeze today, and a few that they’ll decide tomorrow if they can be frozen! Beta is set for 11/15!
@meri-mac - yay!! So excited for you! I hope you don’t get OHSS. I was afraid I was going that way with how bloated I’ve been, but the swelling finally started to subside today.
I’ll try to come back later for more tags! I find the mobile app so difficult to navigate and respond.

@feather_heather Whoa, 7AA?! I didn't even know there was a grade about a 5AA. If that's not a sign I don't know what is. Congrats on being PUPO, and for having such a good # of blasts to freeze! Now stick little embaby, stick!!
I have to remember to ask my RE about the full bladder thing. I have major incontinence anxiety because my fibroid presses on my bladder. CD3 US are such a nightmare for me. I can't imagine needing to pee and being anxious about the FET and having them poking around down there and then having to lie there for a while after. If it's safe for me to take an ativan beforehand I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to be mildly sedated.

@inthewoods23 that still amazes me that they can do a mock transfer. Science rules!
@mvt2003 glad you can get DH's SA done soon. And you already have your tree up? Whoa.
My trigger shot was delivered to my house and I need to do it at 9pm. Any advice?? IUI is scheduled for Thursday. I am so damn anxious, it's not even funny. Like I feel like I am going to vomit.
Chipping away at these tags.... @mvt2003 FX for your blood work and US next week!
@bows22 I know others have responded already, but I will echo that I have had cysts on 2 of my TV/US's and they were not concerned about them for longterm issues. Did you get YH's SA results? (I might have missed your post about it)
@NYTino24 Yay for IUI. Everything is crossed for you!
@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry you've had these confusing lab issues. I don't have any advice or input, but just sorry it's been such a roller coaster. I agree with you about being a sucker for cute scarves!
@kpearse99 Girl, I feel you on the BSC. I'm in week 1 of TWW and the BSC is real. FX for your beta Monday!
@jennifer_louise I'm so sorry you're back in WTO. I loved what you said about feeling like you're throwing spaghetti and seeing what sticks. Sometimes that "unexplained" is harder than an actual diagnosis.
@misshelen86 I know you already got my feedback on HSG, but I just want to repeat that mine was really hard and traumatic for me as well. Nothing else has been as hard as that was for me, if that's any consolation. I hope you get some good answers.
@meri-mac Yay for an awesome follicle count! FX for your ER!
@feather_heather Yay for amazing embryo info! FX so hard for your transfer!
@nitnat007 Sorry the nasal spray was such a pain. GL on your shots! Yay for next steps!
@misskdreams I'm sorry you find yourself here, but glad you're reaching out. It is so much harder to do this alone. FX for your appointment to go well and for you to get a good plan.
*lurk* @emeraldduchess if you’re putting it in the fridge after you mix it up (assuming it isn’t already), take it out about 30 min before! If you’re doing sub-q then just grab your belly fat to put the needle into and take deep breaths- you’ve got this! (I didn’t do IM because DH would faint so I have no advice there)
Re: IF Testing and Treatment Week of 11/4-11/10/19
@bows22 so sorry to see you here, friend. and yes, IKWYM.

Had a pretty haphazard day today... gonna post my status and come back for tags!
Diagnosis (if you've been): low morph (3%), elevated prolactin
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on?
edit because I didn’t finish my IUI experience...

We can wear them to our office so I like to have ones that look good, are comfortable, and last a long time
@mvt2003 ugh I’m sorry you still have some hoops to jump through. When is the SA?

@emeraldduchess Yay for triggering!
@nitnat007 Keeping fx for this IVF cycle for you!
@pom9207 GL with the IUI and TWW!
@NYTino24 Thanks!
@meri-mac Fx for you so hard for the Thursday ER!
@ramzlau Thanks!
Sounds like a busy month for you! Hope everything works out great for you.
edit: can't type...

I had a decent amount of Star Wars items, but he helped me branch out
@mvt2003 I'm glad you liked the RU and that the appointment went seemingly well.

Hugs.
@feather_heather Good luck!!!! Sqweeeee!
Thank you ladies for all of your support @meri-mac @kpearse99 @kiki047 @nitnat007 I'm still swinging pretty wildly between anxiousness to get it going and fear of the process, but I know I'll be ok through this with you all by my side.

(I am unsure how to do the "trigger warning", but the rest of this intro gets a little rough: loss, medical issues.)
My clomid pregnancy was twins early on and we lost one.
As a general rule we don't talk about LC (live children) here outside of the TFAS thread, however if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation it can be brought up using the *TW* trigger warning *end TW* or else with a *TW* and in a spoiler.
Looking forward to getting to know you. I'm glad you decided to join in!
*Just noticed there wasn't an intro thread this week so I created one.

@misskdreams I am so sorry for all you have been through. This is a wonderful group of ladies, you could find a more supportive group.
@shoogapoff and @pom9207 glad your IUIs went well!
@emeraldduchess if you’re putting it in the fridge after you mix it up (assuming it isn’t already), take it out about 30 min before! If you’re doing sub-q then just grab your belly fat to put the needle into and take deep breaths- you’ve got this! (I didn’t do IM because DH would faint so I have no advice there)
