CD/DPO of first BFP? 24/ 11ish. I took a cheapie (and then a FRER) in the morning yesterday and saw a line but then got stressed it was still the trigger since I didn’t test it out. I took another one this morning and I thought the line got darker so I called the RE, who confirmed via betas today.
How many months/cycles had you been TTC? Since 11/2017. 27 cycles minus 2 or 3 that we were benched for Zika.
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) Since August 2018
What did your chart look like? Didn’t chart
What were you doing TGKU? Letrozole + trigger shot + IUI treatment wise. CoQ10, vitamins C, D, and E, fish oil, PNV for vitamins, and had DH take guaifenesin a few days before the IUI after what they said the first IUI (I took them for a few days too because why the heck not add more pills to all the ones I was already taking)
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) IUI -3, IUI on CD 13 + PM, +1, +3 (not that that’s really a thing). My boobs have been really sore since like 6 DPIUI but that’s not super uncommon for me in the TWW. Not sure if I can attribute any other “symptoms” to this or just normal TWW overanalyzing of every twinge and the fact the weather changed.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I got back into bed after I took the cheapie yesterday and told DH to not get excited but there might be a line that could or could not be the trigger still. Couldn’t hold still after that so I went and bought FRER and debated like 5x if I should put the onesie I bought out or not because I wasn’t sure if it was real or the trigger. If you are reading this and you’re one of the people I was blowing up with my neurosis, thank you 😉
I decided to “officially” tell him (with the caveat I wasn’t 100% sure) and just laid one the onesie with some little UL shoes and the FRER on top. He didn’t have his contacts in when he came downstairs so he didn’t even notice it at first and then had to put his face like an inch from everything to see what was going on. Expectation vs reality am I right? And I romantically called him on my way home from work with the good news.
Anything else to add? This isn’t just me being dramatic (maybe a little) but there were times I really never thought I’d get to post here. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you ladies and your friendship over the past 15 or so months. My only regret is not joining TB sooner.
Thank you for picking me up when I was down, being a WEALTH of information, calming my crazy, making me laugh, and celebrating small wins with me. It doesn’t feel real that I’m not going to be a part of this board anymore and it makes me really sad to know I’m leaving. I hope more of you join me over in July and calm everyone down about the freaking board opening up 😂 I love you ladies and am rooting for you, especially all my friends in the IF thread ❤️❤️
