This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.
Diagnosis (if you've been):
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):
How are things going?:
Any questions?:
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI today! Follicle was 25 and lining was 9+ yesterday so I triggered last night. DH did his sample and I go in at 8.
How are things going?: meh, waivering between hopefulness and negativity
Any questions?: nope, just please hope for me that I don’t end up with blood clots and fluid again!
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? I guess coat / shoes (which my big teacher feet are apparently tough on).
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole, IUI
How are things going?: I have been a human pincushion since Thursday for LH monitoring. My LH levels went down yesterday, so currently sitting in the waiting room at the clinic for my ultrasound. Going to be late for work at this point but my boss knows.
Any questions?: Not at the moment.
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Hmm...I try not to spend a lot on clothes, but I would say dresses are a little more pricey than most of the tops I buy. I also have a weakness for cute scarves.
I'm loving the quotes, @NYTino24 so thanks for adding them lately
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW - well... more like the 1 week wait, because 2nd week is always the one that is torture!!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): 7.5 of Letrozole, Ovidrel and IUI last Monday.
How are things going?: Well, now is when the BSC and SS will begin. The first week of the TWW is always a breeze, but this is when it starts to get challenging because you know that this is when symptoms could really start to appear. I'm still telling myself (several times a day) that this treatment/cycle worked and that we will be getting good news next Monday at our betas. I'm doing my very best to keep any doubts from creeping in, but I know that's going to get more difficult as the days go on..... as I already had to chase a thought out this morning when I realized last cycle my boobs started to become sore at 6 dpiui and so far I have nothing this cycle LOL... see... BCS is starting to appear!
Any questions?: nope!
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Probably tops and cardigans... I love cardigans!
@NYTino24 GL today with your IUI!!! I have everything crossed and I'm sending so many positive thoughts your way!!
@emeraldduchess thinking of you this morning! I hope the results come back conclusive and you get some answers. Keep us posted.

@emeraldduchess I hope you get some answers! I assume that means no IUI yet? Well, hopefully soon! 💜 I'm glad you seem to have an understanding boss.
@NYTino24 yay for IUI day! I hope those little swimmers find their mark.
@kpearse99 I'm with you there - the first half of the TWW is actually kind of relaxing for me... Can't do anything but wait! The second half is BSC enough to make up for it, I just hope the days fly by until your betas!
Diagnosis: unexplained
Status: as of this morning, WTO. First IUI was a bust.
What are you doing this cycle? Letrozole + trigger + IUI#2 + Progesterone
How are things going? Well, cried all weekend over the BFN. This morning, I'm taking advantage of CD1 by not feeling guilty about a cup of coffee I'm going to have and going to try to be positive starting now (channeling @kpearse99 💜). I also sent an email to the nurse about the timing this time around. I know that there are many reasons an IUI can fail - but I don't want bad timing to be one of them. MH and I had a very candid talk about IVF over the weekend since that's starting seem like the direction we're headed. We're mostly on the same page, both just super uncomfortable with the "unexplained" diagnosis. All the treatment just seems like we're throwing spaghetti at the wall, not addressing the real problem, whatever it may be.
Any questions? This isn't really a question, but I just want to say that I actually enjoyed being on Prometrium. Usually I have no idea how long my LP will be, and it's nice not to have to wonder. Also, normally I have terribly sore boobs from like 6dpo until CD2 or so, this time, nothing! It was nice. Well, minus the BFN.
GTKY: I'm not sure this counts as my wardrobe, but I think I spend the most money on haircuts. I have a ridiculous amount of hair and I pay somebody good money to tame it for me, and it's work every penny.
@NYTino24 Everything crossed for you today! You’ve got this!
@emeraldduchess GL with your ultrasound!! Hope your RE is able to give you some answers.
@kpearse99 Hope you’re able to avoid SS! Sending positive thoughts your way!
Diagnosis (if you've been): MFI, 1 blocked tube
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Waiting for our next RE appointment in 2 weeks.
How are things going?: I’m still really upset about my HSG. It was a bit traumatic for me- both the procedure itself and the results. I’m nervous about our next appointment because I know we will be getting a ton of test results back, and if there are any more issues it may break me. I feel hopeless and scared right now. I’m trying to just keep taking it one day at a time and I’m continuing with my daily yoga/meditation, which is helping.
Any questions?: No.. but if anyone else has had a blocked tube, I’d love to hear your experience/what your next steps were. (Thanks again to the member who already sent me a PM I appreciate it so much!)
GTKY: Definitely dresses! That’s pretty much what I wear all summer.
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018
Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
@jennifer_louise I’m so sorry for your BFN That’s so frustrating that you have no answers. Hope you take some time just for yourself this week. FX this upcoming IUI does the trick!

From Last Week's thread: @beckylookatherbump My first knitting project did as well, but I kept at it because I found We Are Knitters and they have a bunch of great beginner projects and explain everything really well.
@kiki047 Backup plans give me peace of mind. It is a way to quell my anxiety about the whole thing. Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF - Gonal-F, Menopur, Cetrocide and baby aspirin
How are things going?: Pretty well. Sunday's check up was excellent. Each ovary has 20 follicles and between that and BW the nurse said everything was "perfect". My final check up is Tuesday with projected ER of Thursday.
Any questions?: Nothing yet. I'm sure I will go full on BSC after ER and transfer
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? There is a lovely boutique which I have to be very careful about visiting. They have amazing dresses by a company called Effie's Heart. They are beautiful, high quality pieces, but they cost quite a bit. I would furnish my wardrobe with all of them if I could!
@NYTino24 - Good luck today!! Got my fingers and toes crossed for you!
@emeraldduchess - I hope all the poking is worth it, and gives you some answers.
@kpearse99 - I agree the second week is always the hardest! Do you test at home before your betas?
@jennifer_louise - Sorry to hear that your first IUI didn't work. I think the chances of it working increase with each one though! I totally agree with your analogy about the unexplained diagnosis! I totally feel that way too, but hearing our fertilization results after the egg retrieval was the first time I really thought that maybe it's not hopeless!
@misshelen86 - Ohh I'm so sorry to hear that the HSG was traumatic for you. I didn't have a blocked tube, but I think that is something that is fixable!
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO - tomorrow I'll move over to TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF
How are things going?: I am so freaken swollen and uncomfortable still! I am so glad that I took the day after the ER off and had the weekend to sit around and relax. Waiting for the hospital to call today to give me an update on the embryos and let me know what time my transfer is tomorrow!
Any questions?: How long were you swollen for after you ER? The nurse told me it should start going down after two days, but here I am four days later and I still look 5 months pregnant.
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Probably shoes! I like to invest in good quality shoes (mostly because my feet will smell to high heavens if I wear cheap shoes). Boots are my weakness.
@jennifer_louise oh, I am so sorry about the BFN. I have read in many places that IUI's have a higher success rate with the 2nd or 3rd. so FX this one will be it for you both and you won't have to go down the IVF route at all. I'm right there with you on the unexplained front. Enjoy that cup of coffee and start giving yourself positive affirmations about yourself, your body and your treatment. I totally agree with you about not wanting the timing to be a reason for a failed IUI.
@misshelen86 I have no advice for you on the blocked tube front but I am happy you are keeping up with yoga and meditating and that it's helping a little. Maybe you could up that to twice a day, like in the morning and the night? But at the same time - it's okay to feel however it is you are feeling. You need to let yourself feel those feelings.

@kpearse99 That sore boobs thing happened to me right around the 12 dpo mark last cycle and I’ve really only had that happen twice before, so it was quite the fake out. I hope this cycle is the one for you! @misshelen86 Sometimes the waiting to find out is worse than the actual result. I’m sorry you had a rough experience with the HSG and that the tube can be unblocked without damage. @jennifer_louise So sorry about CD1, but glad the progesterone is helping. I might consider that beauty related and not necessarily wardrobe, but your hair is a huge part of your “look” and. It isn’t something to mess with. I was at a salon yesterday and let’s just say it ended with a guy demanding the head be shaved and to not pay for the cut. I cried about a lot of haircuts in my lifetime and it resulted in getting cuts maybe twice a year. I also donate it a lot, so I think it’s definitely worth a good stylist!
IUI went well. We won’t be doing another tomorrow because DH has a crazy full day before we fly out on Wednesday. I’m just glad we got it in before our trip. Kind of disappointed, but he did a good job today (56 mil) and we had EOD timing besides that. I haven’t seen my RE in a while and she was the one who did this IUI. She said it’s worth another shot for us if it doesn’t work out since we are unexplained. We are about to hit the year mark soon and I want to move to IVF after 3 IUI.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@feather_heather I CAN test before my betas, but I'm not instructed to and honestly, after the CP last cycle I think I want to avoid testing at home beforehand as to not get my hopes up at all. We'll see if I can control the urge as we progress with the week, but as of right now, I'm not doing any testing until the betas draw! I am so darn excited for you for tomorrow!!! Can't wait to hear the update later today on the embryos!!

@emeraldduchess Hope they get to you soon so you can get to work. The needles become too much. I know the feeling.
@kpearse99 Keep the BSC away! Stay positive. We are all rooting for you!
@jennifer_louise I am so, so sorry about that bfn. Sending you hugs Be kind to yourself, drink the coffee and feel all the feelings. Glad that you could have that talk though and knowing that you are on the same page from the start is so important.
@misshelen86 So sorry about your HSG. I don't have any experience, but I hope that one of the ladies here is able to lend some knowledge. Hoping the next two weeks flies for you so you can get back to your RE and get some answers and a plan to keep moving forward.
@feather_heather FX for a great report today! Keep taking care of yourself! Feel better soon.
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI (low morph)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): down reg for IVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF, shots start Nov 14th
How are things going?: Not too bad. First few days of nasal spray was gross. It was making me woozy and giving me a headache. Now my boobs feel huge and I am bloated. But I think that is just the excessive leftover Halloween chips that I was consuming over the weekend.
Any questions?:
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Shoes! I have more pairs of shoes than anyone needs. Finding ones that are comfortable, and that you will wear all the time are worth it. Also gym gear. I have a lot of gym gear.

@NYTino24 So awesome! All things crossed for you today!
@emeraldduchess I'm sorry about the LH roller coaster. I hope you get some satisfactory answer today All the creepy internet hugs. Aside: I knit my own scarves, but the wool I buy tends to cost way more than a scarf I could buy in store. I can't help it. I love it!
@kpearse99 Here is some help for you to keep the BSC at bay. Stick with your positive thoughts! Our bodies do different things each month!
@jennifer_louise Oh honey. I'm so sorry. Enjoy that cup of coffee and I don't think anyone would judge you if you got a second. Keep up the positive if you can; if not, we are here for you
@misshelen86 I'm so sorry. You have such a good attitude about it which can be insanely difficult. I'm glad your yoga and meditation are helping. I have heard positive stories about women with blocked tubes so not all is lost!
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA and MFI(low morphology)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): will be starting first IUI cycle when my next cycle starts later this week. Plan is for clomid, trigger, and IUI with progesterone after
How are things going?: I'm excited to be moving forward with treatment but also nervous. I'm giving myself anxiety over all the little details - timing, scheduling, work, Thanksgiving in the middle of this. I'm nervous about taking all the medications during this as well. But overall optimistic at this point.
Any questions?: Does anyone know what they're looking for in the day 3 BW at the beginning of the IUI cycle? I get the US, but what would my doc be looking for in the bloodwork that could potentially delay IUI? I couldn't find anything in the packet they gave me.
GTKY: I hate to be so stereotypical but I definitely spend the most on shoes, but that's mostly because I buy a lot of athletic shoes. And probably work clothes but that's just a boring must do!
@ellieemc26 Hi, and welcome! The CD 3 bloodwork shows them what your baseline bloodwork looks like. It gives them your starting point on all of your levels. They will look at your LH, Progesterone, Estrogen and even hCG levels.
@nitnat007 November 14th is right around the darn corner!! Are you still feeling queasy and getting headaches from the nasal spray?

@NYTino24 your numbers sound promising. FX this IUI does it!
@emeraldduchess FX for good news from your US. Hang in there! Hopefully you get some answers on what the F is going on.
@kpearse99 I was just thinking yesterday myself that I really haven't felt a thing so far in my TWW. Like hmm no symptoms is different from having symptoms so it's totally a sign for us right??
@jennifer_louise so sorry for the BFN! Failure with the first IUI was the hardest IUI to deal with for me. That's great that you guys are already having the conversation about IVF. I agree that it's a bit nerve wracking with an unexplained diagnosis, but often times they say the true diagnosis is found by going through the IVF process.
@misshelen86 you are strong and can get through this! ❤️❤️
@feather_heather I hope you get the best news about your embryos!! Waiting for those calls always made me so nervous!
@ellieemc26 I think all my CD3 BW for IUIs just checked progesterone and estradiol. I think they just confirm that your levels are in the right spot before proceeding. Like with IVF my RE wanted to see below 70 or 60 for estradiol. I think they also use that to confirm that you are, in fact, at the start of your cycle. I think if progesterone was still elevated they wouldn't start yet.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): testing already completed, all in normal ranges
How are things going?: Just chugging along. I realized I'm 10dpo and could probably test if I really wanted too. If I do it will be at the end of the week.
Any questions?: Not right now
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Probably shoes, socks, and hoodies. You can never be too warm!

@NYTino24 so glad to hear the IUI went well! Those numbers sound great!
@emeraldduchess I’m sorry for the LH rollercoaster, I hope you get some answers today
@kpearse99 I think boob pain is the most unreliable “symptom” you’re doing great with the positive energy!
@jennifer_louise I’m so sorry that your IUI wasn’t successful. I understand your feelings about the unexplained diagnosis. As much as I don’t want something to be wrong, if they can’t find anything, I know I’ll have the thought that there is actually something wrong and they just can’t find it.
@misshelen86 I didn’t get a chance to post here last week but I’m so sorry about the blocked tube. I hope time goes by quickly for you until your appointment
@meri-mac so glad to hear everything looks perfect so far!!
@feather_heather I said this in wto but can’t wait for your update! Glad you were able to relax this weekend!

@inthewoods23 no signs could totally BE a sign oh man!!! I am proud of you for holding out on testing until the end of the week FX

@inthewoods23 EEEEEE! You have so much more will power than I would! I have already been told by our pharmacist at the clinic not to test after transfer, but to wait for betas. Boo.
@nitnat007 Sorry the nasal spray is messing with you Revel in the chips!!
@ellieemc26 Welcome! Easier said than done, but don't stress too much about scheduling. It will all work out. That is probably the biggest lesson I've learned in all of this The BW at CD3 is to establish a baseline and rule out any problems with hormones.
@meri-mac well it's pretty easy not to test when you've spent the last year with an RE. I did test early during my FET and that was a major mistake so I'm not planning to unless I actually feel way different than I ever have during a cycle.
@kpearse99 maybe my symptoms are hiding because I have this annoying ache between my shoulder blades. Similar to the pinch the skin between your thumb and pointer finger to relieve headaches kind of thing. I'm being distracted from my ute feelings 😆

Trying to not let this thread get away from me today! I'm not going to post my update until later, we're seeing the Reproductive Urologist this afternoon, so I'll wait until I know more.
@NYTino24 So so so many positive thoughts for you!!!!!!!
@emeraldduchess thinking of you!! FX that IUI will go forward this cycle!!!
@kpearse99 I agree, week 2 is absolutely the worst. Thinking of you, friend!!!
@jennifer_louise So sorry about CD1!! Keeping everything crossed that the next IUI is the one for you. I totally understand the nerves!!
@misshelen86 So many creepy internet stranger hugs. I'm thinking of you!!! When is your next appointment?
@feather_heather oooooh I don't think I realized you're doing a fresh transfer!!! Yayyyyy!!!!! FX for great emrbyo news today!!!!!
@nitnat007 FX for transfer!!!!!!! It's coming so quickly!!!!!
@ellieemc26 Welcome! I also stress out a ton about timing and getting everything done that I need to in the cycle while balancing work and life, you're not alone!!

@NYTino24 Updating my comment because I see you already had the IUI. All your (and YH) stats sound perfect, FX this is it! Today is a beautiful day to get pregnant! @emeraldduchess when will you find out results from today's BW? Was catching up on your updates from last week, how frustrating. I hope you can get some answers soon. Also, I also love a good scarf. @kpearse99 omg my boobs are the worst indicators, lol, some months they're sore AF, other months they're normal, sometimes they get huge and heavy, other months no change... so WTF? And I've never once actually been KU so why do they have to be so dramatic? Just some of my TWW ponderings... @jennifer_louise oh no, friend. I'm so sorry for the BFN and subsequent CD1. your 'throwing spaghetti at the wall' analogy is so accurate, I might steal that to use. I hope the next IUI is all you need to get over this hump (hehehe pun intended). @misshelen86 keep up with the yoga/meditation, and the counselling. I'm sorry last week was so traumatizing. I found my HyCoSy scan experience very physically traumatizing too. I have major PTSD from that. I hope your upcoming follow up with your RE will give you some more answers and insights as to what comes next. The fear of the unknown is often much worse than the outcome itself. Hang in there friend. @meri-mac *squeee* you're so close! So happy to hear everything is progressing well and you're on track for what sounds like a high-yielding ER! Did your RE say anything about a 'target' # of eggs they want to retrieve? My doc says he usually only aims for 6-10, and I need to grill him more about what that means if I'm over (under means he will cancel and switch to IUI). Curious about how other docs approach it. I don't think I paid much attention to that when others were going through their retrievals. @feather_heather I don't have any answers about the bloating but I hope everything is perfect for your transfer tomorrow! Keeping everything crossed for you. @ellieemc26 hi there! I'm sorry you're finding yourself in our little (actually we're not that little anymore) IF group here but glad you decided to join in. kpearse and ITW already answered the question about CD3 BW, hopefully that helps. Feel free to jump in with any other Qs you might have! @inthewoods23 what's next for you now that the testing is done? @mvt2003 GL with the urologist this afternoon!! I'm keeping everything crossed that it's a simple DX and an easy "fix".

@meri-mac nothing wrong with spending money on good quality yarn!
AFM still waiting on my results, but the nurse didn't seem concerned about the fluctuating LH. That made me feel better. I didn't see anything on the ultrasound because they had the screen turned away from me and the technician didn't say a word. Just waiting for them to call now. My guess would be that if all is well, IUI will be Wednesday or Thursday. My bbt has been sky-high the last few days, so I don't know what that's about.
@kiki047 just waiting on next cycle to do the mock transfer again with a biopsy this time to check for inflammation and receptivity of my ute. Or even better, getting KU magically. This cycle was just BW and my ovaries finally woke up in time for our vacation so that would be hella amazing. First true natural cycle since like November of last year. My first IUI was December of last year. And IVF has involved a lot of BC this year lol.
@emeraldduchess how has your LH been fluctuating? Like is it trending up but fluctuating slightly up and down or is it really all over the place? Hope you get to do the IUI soon and everything works itself out!

thanks for the responses! I’m sure the nurses must have told me that, it’s just so much information to take in all at once! At least it seems like one less thing I need to get stressed about about
From last week: @keikilove WOW to all the info from the RI. Holy, that appt seemed ages away when you booked it but here we are! Sounds like a really productive appointment and that must feel good to know that your current protocol and all your supplements are on the right track. I really hope this gives you some more definitive answers. But I need to say, HOLY $*@^ 23 vials of blood?! I'd be dead. I go cold after 3-4 vials, anything more than that and I'd be on the floor. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us, I find it fascinating (not that I'm glad it's happening to you, to be clear, this is just not something I've really had any exposure to so it is interesting to learn about as you go). Thank you for the tips on AMH too. I wondered why they wouldn't just test it before with everything else, and why it suddenly "matters" now that we're moving on to IVF. My RE's reasoning was because it costs money (as opposed to most of our other testing thus far that has been covered by our gov't health insurance). He's of the mindset that less is more, so don't do more than absolutely necessary until you have to. @shoogapoff absolutely zero resentment towards MH for possible MFI, just as he doesn't hold my PCOS against me. It's hard to feel like you're holding yourself accountable for your issues, but it's not like this is a conscious choice you made. You are doing the best you can with the hand you were dealt. That's all anyone can ask for. You are absolutely worthy of his love, and of the baby you're trying to have!
Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOS, some MFI, but no real explanation why nothing works.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Natural cycle while we wait to start IVF next month.
How are things going?: Better this week. I had the talk with my Dad (who is also my boss) about possibly needing some time off early next year for my ER and hopeful FET. He's very careful not to pry but it felt good to talk to him about it. He's a really emotional guy, especially when it comes to me, so I kind of avoid talking about grandkids to him because then we both just cry. We had a good chat about what IVF is and what that means for me/MH. Other than that, I'm just annoyed because my cycle is looking like it's going to be a little long this month so I'm back to being anxious about timing and all the other stuff that's never worked for us in the past anyway. Sigh.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: What part of your wardrobe do you spend the most on? Sweaters. I'm always cold so I always have a sweater or light jacket or some kind of long sleeve pullover and if I'm going to splurge on anything for my wardrobe, it would be on that. I also own a lot of dresses for work but I primarily only shop at Winners or Ross Dress for Less (when I'm in the US) so I don't really pay a lot of money for them.

@inthewoods23 for the mock transfer, does that include any meds you would otherwise be taking for a real transfer or is it like a 'natural' mock transfer? I recall one or two people having done this in the past but it was before I really joined the IF thread so I didn't follow very closely.

@kiki047 It is close and yet Thursday seems so far. As my co-worker helpfully pointed out "Just think of it as 2 more injections." My RE hasn't mentioned an egg target yet. I am going to get some answers tomorrow at the check up. I'm so glad you could talk to your dad about the whole process It really helps being able to share the journey with supportive family/friends
@kiki047 I am so glad you told your dad/boss and that it felt good for you to do that. Even better that he didn't pry and it seems he let you tell him however much you wanted to share with him. I am always cold too, btw, like always!!

@meri-mac it'll be here before you know it! Did you take Friday off too? It does help to share a little at a time. My problem is I don't like being asked how things are going, I find that very triggering for some reason. I know my mom is dying to know what's going on but she has a big mouth and she is so nosey so I just shut down around her. At some point I'll loop her in, maybe after our appt next Thurs. @kpearse99 I have a big fuzzy blanket at my desk at work, and a heater under my desk, plus hot tea, and I'm still cold. I sleep with a flat sheet folded in half (because MH hates flat sheets), a flannel blanket, a duvet, and our king sized coverlet also folded in half, and I'm still usually a little cold at night. MH sleeps "with" the thinnest duvet that Ikea has that's not just a sheet and even then it usually ends up on the floor. Thankfully he puts up with me wrapping my ice cube feet around him because he just radiates heat.

@kiki047 good question! So I have the option to do this as a medicated or natural mock transfer. Whichever we choose is what we'll do for the real FET next year.
I like the idea of doing a natural FET to save the money not needing meds, but the transfer date can be delayed if the biopsy shows chronic inflammation. I'd have to take the depot lupron for a month to 3 months (depending on severity of the inflammation). If we do natural then we have to wait for my cycle to come back for the FET cycle to start but that can take months since the lupron halts AF (I've read it can be up to 6 months!). But if we do a medicated FET and I need to do the depot lupron, we can move straight from the depot lupron to the subcutaneous lupron and get the FET going right away. If there's no inflammation, a natural FET wouldn't be delayed.

FET is tomorrow at 12:30! The person that called couldn't give me any information on my embryos.. she said that they'd go over all that tomorrow when I arrive.
@kiki477 - I know you didn't ask me, but I figured I'd give my mock transfer experience. It was at the doctors office and the point was just to measure the length of my cervix, and any tilt of my cervix. That way the notes would be in my file for the hospital to prep for the actual transfer. It was done on while I was still on birth control, and no other meds.
@kpearse99 - That makes sense! I've never actually made it to beta day for an IUI because AF always showed up beforehand.
@kiki047 I don't blame you for that. It is nice to keep the circle small. I can't take Friday off unfortunately. I have noone to cover me in my job so I try not to more than a day for appointments. I had a temp cover me for my vacation in August, but that was for an extended period. Fridays are pretty calm though and my co-workers are quite supportive so if I am bloated and swollen they will take over some of my more physical duties.
@feather_heather EEEEEEE! I am living vicariously through you. So excited!! Fx!!
@feather_heather that's so exciting!! Crossing everything for you!
So my LH went down again, I have no idea what the other two blood tests mean (estradiol and progesterone). Looks like I'm doing the trigger shot, ladies. I should be doing it tonight but they never prescribed it, so I don't have it yet. So I have to call the pharmacy, have it delivered tomorrow, inject the meds, then hopefully IUI is on Friday or Saturday.
@emeraldduchess did you have another ultrasound done today to see if your follies were progressing? Sounds like your brain isn’t telling your body you’re ready to O, which seems to have happened to me too. The trigger will certainly do the trick!!

@nitnat007 Sorry about the nasal spray. Hope those boobs aren’t too painful!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@kpearse99 they said nothing about the follicles. Unfortunately I can't just leave my class to take a phone call so I only know what they left via voicemail. Hopefully they will fill me in tomorrow when I go for labs. I wonder if this happens frequently and it's linked to a bigger problem like POF? That's what has me so scared.
@misshelen86 so many hugs to you. It takes time to process all those test results, especially if they're not what you're hoping for. 💙 Glad the yoga and meditation are helping.
@NYTino24 get it, girl! (Chipping away at the tags, here...)

BFP: 10/27/2011 | EDD: 6/30/12

9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst

That’s pretty much what I wear all summer.TTC since 9/2018
10/19- First RE visit
2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles
7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN
9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal
11/20- Mock transfer/ERA
12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN
3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021
12/21- Baby girl born!

@beckylookatherbump My first knitting project did as well, but I kept at it because I found We Are Knitters and they have a bunch of great beginner projects and explain everything really well.
Diagnosis (if you've been): endometriosis, unexplained infertility, borderline PCOS

@meri-mac Yay for perfection!!

@misshelen86 I'm so sorry. You have such a good attitude about it which can be insanely difficult. I'm glad your yoga and meditation are helping. I have heard positive stories about women with blocked tubes so not all is lost!
@NYTino24 and @kpearse99 sending good thoughts for both of you!

@meri-mac thank you, my friend! I needed that
@nitnat007 November 14th is right around the darn corner!! Are you still feeling queasy and getting headaches from the nasal spray?

@meri-mac Your ER is soooo close!! Yay!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained, low morph
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?

@ellieemc26 Welcome! Easier said than done, but don't stress too much about scheduling. It will all work out. That is probably the biggest lesson I've learned in all of this The BW at CD3 is to establish a baseline and rule out any problems with hormones.
@kpearse99 maybe my symptoms are hiding because I have this annoying ache between my shoulder blades. Similar to the pinch the skin between your thumb and pointer finger to relieve headaches kind of thing. I'm being distracted from my ute feelings 😆

@jennifer_louise I am so sorry, friend. 💜 Have all the coffee you want today.
@NYTino24 glad things went well! FX this is it for you.
@emeraldduchess how has your LH been fluctuating? Like is it trending up but fluctuating slightly up and down or is it really all over the place? Hope you get to do the IUI soon and everything works itself out!

@keikilove WOW to all the info from the RI.

@feather_heather EEEEEEE! I am living vicariously through you. So excited!! Fx!!
I swear I will be back to do more tags later!
