Group B strep & spotting

in 2nd Trimester
I am 4 months along with our 4th child and 3 or 4 times a week I have a mucus discharge mixed with a little bit of blood. The doctor did some testing I am positive for group B strep, but no other infections. He also checked my cervix and it was closed. He said not to call and let them know unless it is like a period. I can't help but worry. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I also just tested positive for group b strep in my urine, it’s caused a UTI. No spotting yet but my dr didn’t seem concerned. Just said I’d be treated during labor for group b strep. Pretty much everyone has it, it’s just a matter of if it’s present at various stages. Try not to worry. Some spotting is normal and if it’s not heavy period bleeding then you should trust your doctor.
