Upcoming appts: 10/30! I think just a checkup - like you @Swiftlet they didn't say anything about a glucose test so I'm going to assume it's next month! We also have an endocrinologist follow up that afternoon. (Gestational hypothyroidism)
How are you feeling?: Happy & all-around good! Finding it hard to complain, when we wanted this so badly, for so long. Even the aches and pains are a reminder that we are lucky.
Cravings/Aversions: Pizza 🤩
Rants/Raves/Questions: Just excited for our shower! It's a tough season to plan a party--ours is Dec 8--hopefully we're not putting too much of a burden on our family and friends.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: A few days after the start of grade 8, my (super friendly) best friend at the time recommended we say hi to the "new girl" and so I (not so friendly) begrudgingly went along. Despite her initial impression of me as a snob, 😂 the "new girl" and I ended up becoming forever best friends/soul sisters 💕

GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: We met in elementary school but really became friends after 3rd grade when we were both in Myrtle Beach with our families and ended up in the same restaurant! We grew up half a mile from each other but had to go out of town to become friends 😆

How are you feeling?: pregnancy wise I feel pretty good
Cravings/Aversions: Acid reflux is rearing it’s ugly head, so anything that aggravates it is out.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I was in my backyard yesterday and ran my ankle into a huge log my husband is going to cut for firewood. It’s all bruised and swollen now.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: my mom gave birth to her when I was five. 😁 My sister is and always has been my best friend/soulmate. We just get each other.

Upcoming appts: 11/22, managed to schedule all my appts in one day: OB, glucose test, ultrasound, MFM consult
How are you feeling?: good but definitely noticing I'm feeling symptoms earlier this time around like backache, full easily, out of breath quickly
Cravings/Aversions: Not really cravings but I'd prefer snacky carbs to anything else. No real aversions except not really interested in pork chops.
Rants/Raves/Questions:
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: I have 2. One I met in 6th grade social studies class and we are still close whenever we have the chance to see each other and catch up. The other I met in college because we were both education majors and we ended up becoming really close and being roommates later. We are very close to this day and talk often and hang out somewhat regularly.

Upcoming appts: I have a chiropractor appt today and have a mid-wife visit at the end of Nov.
How are you feeling?: ok! mood is so much better. I did have my first migraine in 15 years Monday which made me get sick and lose my dinner which freaked out the kid, but felt better immediately after.
Cravings/Aversions: eh - nothing right now. I am adding peanut butter to a lot of things.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant - kind of annoyed its supposed to be raining on Halloween! Rave - Yesterday I had the day off and chaperoned my daughter's Pre-K pumpkin picking field trip. It was as crazy as traveling to a farm with 30 3-year-olds sounds like, but happy I got some extra time with my daughter.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: I met my BFF in high school and we were mortal enemies at first and HATED each other. About three weeks later I found out her boyfriend hooked up with another girl and the new girl was now both our mortal enemy, we still dislike her now 25 years later, and we became best friends. What a silly story.
@swiftlet that is so sweet about your sister. I wish I had a sister like that and hope my girls are too. Funny we both are loving peanut butter right now!

Upcoming appts: just had my 24 week appointment today! Next up 28 week appt on 12/5 and the dreaded glucose test.
How are you feeling?: Feeling okay! Tired, but that's more from being overloaded and trading sleep for work & studies.
Cravings/Aversions: ALL THE SWEETS! Remarkably, I haven't touched the Halloween candy yet!
Rants/Raves/Questions:
Rant - I started my first Master's level course last Monday. WOW. The syllabus said to expect to devote 10 to 20 hours per week to it. I spent well over 20 hours on it last week. This week, to keep up I've been trading sleep for study hours. Kind of wondering what the heck I got myself into!!
Rave - the MN Orchestra did Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire over the weekend. This is the 3rd year in a row of watching the Orchestra do the score to the movies (started with bopk 2, last year was book 3, and this year book 4). I just love it!
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: I met my best friend in 3rd grade - we were in the same class. I remember she had BEAUTIFUL, long hair, and during story time she always had 2 to 3 girls braiding her hair! We clicked and have been best friends ever since. She lived just a couple blocks over from me, so we spent all of our free time together over the years. She is a sister to me, and her family is my second family. ❤

Upcoming appts: 11/22; Had my diabetes test last wk and no issues thankfully. My drink was clear and tasted pretty much like flat sprite. It wasn't bad. I wasn't sure how much I'd have to drink but it was only 8 oz.
How are you feeling?: Good! Feeling lots of kicks and saw my belly actually move for the first time today. So weird! Still having upper back pain between my shoulders...getting used to new weight pulling down my posture.
Cravings/Aversions: Pork has been dead to me for a few months now - no change there! This week I've been bad about eating Halloween candy...
Rants/Raves/Questions: Hubby has been adorably sweet lately. He gets so excited to feel kicks and he talks to and kisses my belly. He's not usually very sentimental so it's been SO heartwarming to see because I'm a total sap
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: Crazy story...We were randomly paired up in the dorm freshman yr of college. Backstory is that I was originally paired up with this girl Mindy (I'll give names or it gets confusing) but a week before school, they switched me to a girl named Rachel (my now BFF). Rachel started dating this guy Chris a couple years into college and they eventually got married. Well come to find out that Chris's ex-girlfriend for like 3 yrs in high school was MINDY! So I feel like, either way, I would've met Chris through Mindy and then met Rachel
